Looks like they used the tmnt hands on mantenna here. Smart reuse as always. I liked the hordak boots on mantenna I think i prefer that then the half boots half feet look. Definitely have to grab this one when it comes my way. Thanks for all the mixing and matching as always. Solid review!
@sawrig Thanks for taking the time to watch the review and parts mixing. Yeah, you might correct with Mantennas' hands being reused from the Turtles. They look close. I thought it would be interesting to see what four Hordak boots would look like on all feet. However, I also prefer the two regular boots and then half boots. I'm gonna leave my figure just the way he came! I hope you get one soon!👍
A great thing about these cartoon figures is that they are sturdy and don't feel like they are going to break. As much as I love the TMNT and DC cartoon figures, they are so fragile I don't even want to chance posing them much. The interchangeability is something that would have been so fun to have had when I was a kid, too. That is such a great feature that the original line would have really benefited from. It would have inspired so many character creations for kids that would have fueled the line for much longer.

I really like this Mantenna figure! I’m still behind on Origins and don’t have the “vintage” Mantenna, but I think I actually prefer this one! I love that both figures have kept the action feature intact and have given him 4 legs! The Horde were always some of my favorites, so I’m really looking forward to the other Cartoon Collection versions. And most definitely looking forward to Cartoon Collection She-Ra! ~Damon

I got Mantenna and Ram Man in the mail the other day. The cards were so perfect I decided to leave them and keep those sealed. I ordered two more from Entertainment Earth that shipped yesterday, those will be the ones I open this weekend. Hopefully we get another cartoon Horde member soon, cause this guys all by himself right now lol😂

Yep, they had pictures of him for us to buy with a red neck as they were supposed to use, however went totally against the red neck and gave him a blue one for some strange reason. I'll have to paint mine red I don't like that not being red as it's supposed to be in the cartoon. They need to pay more attention to what they're doing if mimicking a cartoon. LOL

I also have a mix of all kinds of other monsters such as Xplus Godzilla and Schleich creatures. My favorite Motu line will always be the Classics fist. But the Origins is definitely my favorite series now.

The legs will be an incredible custom for a foot solider when the Mutated King Hiss figure drops. It will look like a Knucklehead... Please make sure to do that combination.
@@ggary04 I know the TOG king Hiss comes with parts to make a typical foot soldier. I'm not familiar with Knuclehead. I'll look in to it when i can get my hands on the exclusive King Hiss figure.👍
@Themanchlid between the way the vehicle looks and the blue for the legs it's an incredible match made in heaven. Plus it's perfect for a mutated foot solider to give them two more feet😅 Mix it with a stratos grey body and arms and it's probably the coolest custom you could make.
I have Mantena Origins but gotta say the colors pn this are Knock Out and i think would stand out way more in a collection on display. Im in no rush so probably pick a cheap one up in the future.

@@GenuineArticle71 It's possible with so many figures manufactured and painted that there will be odd issues with paint apps or certainly the eyes. It depends how bad they are on certain figures to be really annoying up close.
He looks awesome. Too bad the head is scuffed. You could get fine sand paper to smooth it out and then get a nail buffer to give the plastic back its shine.

@somarriba333 Yeah I would have preferred the sculpted chest bat. I'm sure a leg swap can work with a little heat from a blow dryer or hot water between two figures.
I didn't get the Vintage version because like many figures from that period became hard to find. Though its becoming easier to get. However I might just settle for this version. Oh and the same goes for Ram Man. Didn't get the Vintage version, but just ordered the Cartoon version along with She-Ra.

@geffeternal741 I'm glad to hear you just got your Mantenna figure. They look decent to me. The eye colors and center pupils look ok for a cartoon Mantenna figure. But im sure certain figures will vary because of factory issues.

@JurassicRod The skinny arms look is what I never liked about Mantenna on the animation. I guess that's why I preferred the Classics look. Because they bulked up his Muscles to look like He-man and Skeletor. That's what I also liked about those figures. So, the larger arms are more appealing to me. But everyone has their own vision of certain Characters and designs.

More than half the viewers that watch my channel come to see parts mixing from what i learned between the comments and Instagram followers. Otherwise, im just another guy filming and twisting a figure on RUclips, which anyone can do! I only do this, and most parts are swapping because of the requests from all the customizers on what parts can mix with certain figures. Or can i try this or that! Somethings makes sense and is fun to me. Other things I would never do with my figure. The modular capabilities with Origins are genius. I wish the Masterverse had removable waists and arms. I just Pre-ordered Modulok yesterday from the whole Shabang. 👍
