This video seems to have limited the global demand for the sale of these two types of music boxes, as both music boxes are still available for sale with no problem. Today on May 18, 2021 I received my package from the Square Enix Europe Store with the Aerith's Theme music box, which I ordered on May 7, 2021. It sounds exactly like the one in the video, although much louder. Yes, it's very loud live. The foil in which it is packed inside the box is very stiff, which probably left small traces (similar to abrasions) on each of the walls of the music box, which cannot be removed with anything. From the instruction manual we can find out, that the casing of the music box is made of acrylic resin (which gives the effect of a shiny piano case), and the music box itself is made of iron and zinc alloy. It also says "The music box make a creaking noise while it is playing. This is a sound distinct to music boxes caused by prongs coming into contact with other prongs while still resonating. This sound does not indicate a problem with the music box. " Yes, that's right, creaking noise is present.
I got the music box for the main theme, and didn't realize until now that you can actually see through the box and look at the mechanism😅 I held up my phone flashlight to it
argh its like basically 3-5 bars of music on repeat....that's barely anything! That's horrendously short! DX such a shame for such cute music boxes.....even nier automata's music boxes are on repeat for only 3-5 bars Main theme is way too fast paced to enjoy. Guess I'll just buy aerith...such a shame v.v
There is a longer version of aerith theme as well as more notes? Made by orpheus which is a subsidiaries of Sanrio. The point is, there are only 1000 of them made, playing Aerith theme and it is a mythical item at this point, supre-duper hyper extra plantinum rare.
