I wouldn't pass up that Bull but I wouldn't pass up a spike. I love elk meat too much. LOL - I'm a carnivore.

Have never seen an elk hunter shake that bad trying to kill a grouse. Congrats on the great bull guys. That was a stud and you can pass up bulls like that with the resume Cory has.

Incredible sounds picked up by Tyler’s mic… the breathing, the positioning his reed to stop the bull, the arrow against the riser etc.. such familiar sounds, really felt like we were right there

“Just a five point”. That five point is well above my standards lol. Also helluva shot on a nice bull!

Thank you for producing a great series showing true elk hunts. Much rather watch a hunt experience that is unsuccessful but authentic than the 85% of shows where the film was made in a high fence elk ranch. Great job guys.

Wow this episode showed how so close doesn't mean you got an elk (or grouse) and the next minute you can have an elk walk right up to you where you least expect it. Great show guys thanks.

Good tip/recommendation by Team Pure Elevation to stop, catch your breath, calls some before cresting over a ridge/hill. This episode illustrated the importance to just listening the sounds … Corey and Tyler both heard the bull prior to putting eyes on them. Thank you to YETI, Mtn. Ops, RMEF, and PEAKS Equipment for allow Destination Elk to produce these episodes.

Well, another great episode, with another tag filled. Great hunts guys and congrats on a nice elk team pure elevation. It is so great to have these hunts to watch it really gets the adrenaline going for this upcoming September. I am so glad you have some great sponsors so you can bring these hunts to us. That was a tense moment and some great sounds from Tyler. Thanks to Yeti, Peax's, RMEF and Mt OP's. Oh and I have never seen anyone get that excited about a grouse, wat to go Randy. Thanks again, looking forward to the next one. You need to bring back the Dad jokes and the wrap up you and Donnie did at the end of each episode I really enjoyed that.

I love the Skousen Brothers style of hunting!! Elks ability to pick up human scent is amazing. In September I had a great setup on a bull coming in on a string at about 80 yds been the wind shifted and I felt a light breeze on my neck. The bull stopped on a dime and turned away from me and trotted off! That’s hunting!

Team pure elevation wins the elk tipping award. Great footage of dramatic results! Congratulations on your persistence on that set up even with that question regarding the potential that you may call in another hunter. Sometimes you can use other hunters calling to your advantage when there are also elk in the vicinity.

I like how these episodes really show how diverse a hunter needs to be in order to be successful. I would like to hear a bit more about how the different teams are running their setups. Also, Randy and grouse is pretty fun to watch. His hand was just a shaking putting that SGH on his second arrow.

That was a big five point that Corey had in front of him, I don't think I could have passed on him. Oh well hopefully he made it through and is bigger next year. Randy got too excited on the grouse, should have had a shotgun in the truck or better yet a .17 HMR with a good scope. Very good on the five point at the end. I'm hooked on this series for sure.
