In this video, Homelander meets with Stan Edgar in Vought Tower after Stan has been outed from the company. Homelander is smug but Stan Edgar puts him in his place, telling him the truth about him and what will happen to him in the future.

Homelander can hear his heartbeat. He can sense when people are afraid of him and when they're lying. Stan did nothing but tell the truth, and that scared Homelander more than anything.
Also he knew that he was not scared of him at all

I love how much Stan turns his back on Homelander here. It's not only symbolic for their relationship, but also shows how little he fears a man that could instantly kill him like it was nothing.
I wouldn't worry about him instantly killing me. That would be mercy coming from homelander. I would be terrified of him slowly pulling me apart.
I mean in comics he preaty much gives homelander a migreine from how much he roast him total chad
Stan doesn't fear him in the slightest, because he's a sociopath himself. Homelander can sense the slightest change in his bodily functions if he were putting up a front.

Ayo, I don’t mean to force anything on anyone, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events. *IF* anyone is interested, read on.
*NOTE:* I can’t prove God to you. It all comes down to your choice to put your trust in Jesus Christ. That’s all faith is-TRUST. Unfortunately in these recent years, science and “religion” (as we know them today) have bastardized each other and themselves.
Point is, faith is trusting in Jesus. It’s not a blind jump into what people deem “irrational.” Billy Graham said something reminiscent of that.
I have no power over you. I can only tell you, but I can’t force you. (I mean, we’re conversing online lol. I’m not at your location… yet)
james 4:8 “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Check out “HolyLandSite, Cold-Case Christianity, Delafé Testimonies.” There may be more, but those are the ones I know of.
religion (Christianity) is just a relationship with God along with loving others (see james 1:27)

more evidence for the Bible concerning cosmology and divine revelation in job 26:7, proverbs 8:27, Isaiah 40:22 (read on)
The idea that the earth was round can be dated back to 600 BC in Greece. It was more widely accepted around the 3rd century (300 BC-201 BC) The idea that the Earth floated in space was concocted circa 500 BC. Note: time was “labeled” differently back then. for example, year 3000, year 420, year 69, year 0, year 1, year 2… and so on.
Job 26:7: “. . .He [God] hangs the earth on nothing” The book of Job was supposedly written at 2100 BC.
Proverbs 8:27: “. . .when He drew a circle on the face of the deep. . .” Proverbs was possibly written between 970 and 686 BC
Isaiah 40:22: “it is He who sits above the circles of the earth. . .” Isaiah was written between 739 and 680 BC.
This one doesn’t pertain to cosmology, but it refers to divine revelation nonetheless. So you know how the Euphrates River is drying up? Well, guess what? People in the Bible are saying: “Been there, done that.” Read on to learn more.
Isaiah 11:15 “The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.”
Revelation 16:12 “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.”
How did they know about this? You tell me, my fellow Zoomerz.
*NOW FOR EVIDENCE OUTSIDE OF THE BIBLE*
The Holy Spirit exists. I was suicidal for 9-ish months, but then I read John 3:16, and poof- the big sad went away in one night.
Also, look up John Gabbana's (boonk gang) testimony. Dude did a lot of wacky stuff. He's changed now.
Check out “Delafé Testimonies.” They got some good stuff as well
*YOU CANNOT DENY THE WORK GOD DOES IN PEOPLE’S LIVES*
also, the soul exists. someone i know (i won't say who-privacy reasons) saw their soul leaving their body. like pulling off a band-aid, except it doesn't hurt.
*There are also non-Christian sources who have confirmed the existence and divinity of Jesus, some of which were hostile towards Christianity, such as:*
Thallus (52 AD), who said Jesus lived, was crucified, and confirmed the darkness and earthquake that followed Christ’s crucifixion;
Tacitus (56-120 AD), who called the followers of Christ “Christians,” confirmed that Jesus was crucified under Pontus Pilate’s command;
Talmud (400-700 AD), confirmed that the disciples were martyred for their faith, and confirmed Jesus was executed the day before the Passover, and said Jesus had “magical” powers;
Pliny the Younger (61-113 AD), who said that the Christians thought Jesus was/is God in the Flesh (God the Son);
Phlegon (80-140 AD), who said Jesus had the ability to predict the future, and confirmed that Jesus was crucified during Caesar’s reign, confirmed Jesus rose from the dead, and confirmed He showed His wounds to confirm He was crucified;
Celcus (175 AD), who said Jesus was born of a virgin, said His father is a carpenter, and confirmed Jesus had miraculous powers;
(See cold-case Christianity for more details)
Here’s the physical evidence of Jesus and His Resurrection:
1) No persecution would have started if He hadn’t come back (even the disciples thought Jesus would never make the ultimate comeback)
2) The Roman soldiers would have paid with their lives if they failed at their jobs
3) there was a 2-4 ton rock that 11-12 guys would have to move (The disciples deserted Him, remember? They didn’t have any help. Everyone said, “Crucify Him!” major L to those opposed to Jesus)
4) there was a Roman seal which was a metal pin that sealed the tomb stone (they would have to break that off; there were well-trained Roman guards there as well).
5) Stealing the Jesus’s body isn’t something the disciples would do (besides Judas. Although he hung himself after feeling remorse for betraying Jesus).
6) the disciples wouldn’t die for what they knew would be a lie. (The lie being Jesus never made the ultimate comeback. They were called to not be liars. I mean, they hung out with the Son of God/God in the flesh. Come on, now).
faith, science, and reason, people (as we all know them today, and as it was before all those things were tarnished)

He respects and admire his intelligence and courage
Giancarlo is just so *chef's kiss*
I fucking love Stan Edgar. Not one ounce of fear for Honelander
I think Homelander respects him because he's not scared like everyone else.
@@duvaulhodges3389nope, he doesn't respect him at all. Homelander likes people to be afraid of him, to beg for their lifes and cry in front of him. But Edgar never did that. Homelander hates him because he was never afraid of him. In the whole scene, Homelander is trying to mock him but Edgar always bounces back with better replies
he is the lex luthor version of the boys.
Just like how lex is not afraid of superman
@@WaltDevil060Nah Homelander definitely respects him just as he does Butcher, you can both hate and respect an opponent, they’re not mutually exclusive.
I love how Stan, with no powers, can talk as much shit as he wants and Homelander doesn't touch him, but A-Train said ONE thing, and Homelander basically threatens to kill him😂
A train was afraid of him, and Homelander wanted to make sure he stayed afraid.
Edgar had no fear to begging with.
A-train is afraid of Homelander, Stan isn't.
@herohunter5961 And you have to start wondering why that is.
He can't kill Edger or Edger wins.
See Homelander needs Edger to bow to him first, he needs to break him, But Edger don't give a shit, and so the cycle continues.
Edgar isn’t afraid of Homelander like at all
If I was Homelander I would have been crying into my pillow that night after this lmao
At this moment Stan Edgar pulled out his Darksaber and burned Homelander. Deep into his soul.
Such a brutal tear down, and he never has to cuss or raise his voice - just eloquent intellect and perfect diction. He could have ripped out Homelander’s heart, and it would have been less hurtful.
Stan, isn't a Stan... He casually pokes at Homelander's true weakness and teaches him a valuable business and life lesson in the process. He looked Homelander dead in the eyes and spoke to him like father would to an arrogant child, without even flinching.
No matter how high we climb, we all used to be carried…
Stan Edgar casually drops the hardest lines and dips 💀
Therapist when your credit card declines:
Calling him bad product was probably the hardest homelander has ever been hit
“Looking for my approval like im your daddy”🤣DAMNNN
Stan & butcher were the only one's that weren't afraid of homelander 💀
Everyone wants Morgan Freeman narrating their lives.
Giancarlo Espasito can narrate mine
I want Patrick Warburton reading lines as if they were written for Giancarlo Espacito. And every so often, H. John Benjamin takes over for a minute before Warburton chases him away from the mic and resumes his role as narrator.
I'd prefer James Earl Jones, the voice of Darth Vader.
And at the end he just says: what a disappointment😂
"You... are... DONE. FINISHED."
Stan wasn't kidding when he said Homie was gonna regret owning the company.
“You are not a God…You are simply…Bad Product” - Best line Ever!
10 year old Homelander: *lifts a building*
Stan: It is acceptable.
Gustavo's cooking harder than when he cooks his chicken.
Stan actually predicted the fact that homelander hating the fact that no one stands up to him.
Bravo Bince
Stan is the epitome of "go ahead kill me, I win and you know it."
The only one who could spit so much disrespect directly to Homelander’s face and walk away alive
My favorite detail of these interactions is that Homelander can hear people’s heart rate, breathing, etc, and knows when they are afraid. Homelander can tell from all of this that Stan is not even slightly afraid of him.
And randy set dec
To be fair, he and the doctor whose name I've forgotten are responsible for Homelander's current mental state. If the T.V. show's lore follows the comics lore regarding his childhood, I'm surprised that he's not even more out of control than he currently is.
Vogelbaum, a right bastard along with Edgar. Though Vogelbaum felt remorse for his part in it, while Edgar feels nothing but objective annoyance for his own goals impeded.
the show lore doesn't
its so heavily changed in the adaptation that i have a serious doubt that the adaptation's lore matches it in any respect except for the situational side
@@irisdaniels2318 Good. The show is the better product.
Comic was interesting at first but went downhill.
“What good would that do? Where would it even go?” Lmao BARS
Never mess with the man that even the Payday Crew hated
Giancarlo plays stan so well that he doesn't even have powers but is equally as intimidating, if not more, than Homelander
Giancarlo is perfect. His voice, death stare, no visible fear. Perfect character.
his acting is on another level
Giancarlo Esposito is a fucking brilliant actor
He doesn't instantly kill Edgar because he's the only one who's keeping it real
I think it is that Homelander, for all his brash and ill considered choices, is not stupid. Even with all his power his gaping pit of insecurity let's him know that there is something fundamental that he lacks. He sees Stan, whom he could dust with a thought, is not scared of him. Furthermore he lacks any sort of superpower yet remains in control. Homelander seeks this. All his power derives from brute force. He knows that even a moments vulnerability would cost him everything including his life. He wants to figure out how one controls and stays in control when force is not an option.
Stan is right about homelander taking over the company. Not to mention the emotional toll and neglectfulness his son is gonna feel because daddy is too busy.
No superpowers but told him straight up 💯
Gustavo (Stan) cut right to the core of Homelander in this scene. I swear Homelander was going to laser him or throw him through the glass and have his terrified assistant Ashley do a media cover as a suicide.
Nah, I think he’d rather leave Stan alive to rub in his face how successful he thinks he’s gonna be at running Vought, which we know would never happen
@@leeks1408 💯
@@leeks1408exactly because what we know from the Comics Stan is literally going to watch as homelander destroys everything while watching from the Shadows. That's why in the trailer for season 4 homelander talking to himself in the mirror repeatedly try to motivate himself as if he believes that he can do this as he's not able to handle the pressure which is what Stan was talking about.
This man is incredible in every role he takes he just commands respect in every scene he is in from breaking bad to the mandalorian he is just in control
After this Edgar escaped prison and went to New Mexico changing his identity to Gustavo Fring, starting a successful chain of fast food restaurants Los Pollos Hermanos.
I think that homelander desperately seeks approval from Edgar, mainly because he knows that if Edgar were to ever do so, he knows that it would be genuine.
The way Giancarlo articulates his sentences is so fuckin good.
Both actors played their scene so perfectly i love this show
This guy was just born to play a villain
God, they are both just amazing actors

Thank you kind man.....I knew I had head it somewhere....now I remember the agent orange torture and death scene
