  • David Kendall is seeking an investment of £50,000 in return for a 25% equity stake in his slap-on wristwatch business. Having taken over 'Slappie' a year ago, Kendall explains that the business had achieved £105,000 worth of sales purely via e-commerce which excited the Dragons but Peter's got an issue with David's scattergun approach...
    An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

      He comes across as a narcissist who gets tired of his new toys quickly-never failed at anything, well this didn't really succeed as such-he almost got his money back & Nick did make something on it-it was put up for sale less than a year after Nick invested. Now the guy they have sold it to seems to have made it a modest success for a few years-company was dissolved in February.

    • @ifwecouldvote
      @ifwecouldvote 4 года назад +15

      Off the top of my head, I can think of a couple of scenarios - you wouldn't want to sell high-end products in low-end shops as it'll give the impression the product is low-end and destroy the premium you've built with the brand. Also, if it doesn't sell in one place as it doesn't suit the target market, then it'll look like nobody wants the product and it's a dud, which can harm your reputation in the overall market and will mean other places won't stock your product. I'm sure there are other reasons too.
