I have only used Penn Senators all my life. I was recently given an International 30. I hate to admit it, but it’s a lot more complicated than the old Senators. Do you have any tutorial videos on how to use one of these?
I took apart my old 50 and can't seem to get my cam and cam follower together correctly, not really touched In this video. ANyone know where I can go for help with that part?
I may try and make a video addressing some FAQ's on this generation of International since there are many, like yours, about specific functions of the reel. In the mean time, check mikesreelrepair.com. Their schematics website is well stocked with schematic sheets you can use to properly reassemble your reel.
Would need to know the manufacturing year and which bearing! www.mikesreelrepair.com has lots of good schematics on their site. Find the one for your exact frame and you can find lots of OEM and aftermarket performance bearings online for good prices!
Flat head screwdriver bit in a driver drill scraped off anodization from his frame around screw hole. Also, who knows if the screws are cross threaded. Who cares so long as it's someone else's reel I guess.
I was mostly referring to a first generation International 30 that's in rough shape as this one was. If it was in great shape and especially if it had an upgraded drag setup it would be well worth 300 bucks
Thx I learn to master the 20,30,50 oldies watching your vids.
I have a few smaller bait casting reels of love yo send you to clean and show case on the channel
Thanks very much. Just stripped and cleaned my 30 and 50 instead of paying someone else to do it. Thanks 😎
Great job. Saved me hours of time.

Nice video, just not too keen on the use of electric drivers, if they come off the head they can damage the reel body. Thanks for the info.
Thanks
