After watching quite a few different plant channels I can say you are one of my top two. You're knowledgeable, funny as hell, and a hoya enthusiast, which ticks a lot of boxes for me. My collection has somehow *become* a collection where it was just a few hoyas less than a year ago. And my wish list is expanding thanks to you. I hope by now your camera is repaired...there is nothing more annoying than misbehaving tech! Except misbehaving plants.
Miro, you love your Hoyas sooo much. I am sure they hear you and that is why they so often over achieve. It just makes me happy to see your loving care. This was a good video.
There is no one with a better Hoya collection or Hoya knowledge than you. Thats what I tune in for. Plus you just crack me up. I do wonder though, what other types of plants are miro worthy🤔? How about a video showing us what you have.
Miro always look forward to your Hoya videos!! I do spend almost everyday taking care of my 100 plants which will be doubling within this year. I have added shelves in my living room and lights are ordered. I will be ordering ikea shelves and Misbro cabinet and lights soon for my room. I haven’t wanted to purchase any plants online until I have setup and lights ready for them. So lots of furniture building and light hanging and plant hanging in walls to do in Feb & March
Oh wow! You have BIG hoya plans this year! :D And I agree, that is a much better way to go about it than how I do it :D Get plants first, worry about space later 😅
@@BasiePlants I don’t always wait lol. I purchased 3 8” pots of Hoyas yesterday at my local BigBoxStore. I can’t pass those up. I’m waiting on the online ordering
I am waiting for your video about PON.😊..I really wonder what do you think about it...I have most of my hoyas in PON...they do grow, but I am not sure if I like roots...so I am thinking about new mixture to repot them...I want to keep selfwatering pots
I am still looking forward to a Hoya carnosa video - it would be a dream come true, ahaha. Do you know anything about Hoya Carnosa Flamingo Dream? Is it a new cultivar or just a fancy name to sell Hoya Carnosa Krimson Queen? Great video, as usual!
How do you know what potting mix would be best for what hoya? Like what sources do you use? I'm stressing out hahah Also!! Where do you sell your props?
I needed to watch you for Hoya help. Because I became a Hoya addict. You have taught me so much! Watering habits....You're so funny....You don't recognize the word "water"😂. It's a foreign word here, too! Then your reservoir was dry. Just your hair inside!😅 Ya. Serious note: Svetlana has black dots. She's beautiful; but what is that?
She is unwell lol. I mean, the roots have rotten and the black dots on Hoya leaves are typically fungal. In most cases not really an issue, but sometimes can become one.
Thanks for the video, please can you explain why you no longer like growing in pon? I’m sorry if you’ve already said. I only have Hoya cuttings, I seem to kill them in soil & pon working on the whole. Thank you x
I am not sure if its available elsewhere, but it is Confidor. I know some systematic granules are available an used in gardening in places like Australia. However, I try to avoid using it and find more natural treatments - sous vide, hydrogen peroxide drench will reduce populations, etc... :) (this is also for root mealybug)
Not even hiding this is not a democracy. You are either on board with my idea of downsizing, which is not downsizing at all, or you will be silenced. 😂

Haha :D Well, perhaps some need to hear me when I tell them to grow or bloom already 😅 Clearly they have selective hearing!

I don't have many other plants, but I will definitely show them, most need a repot 😂
I'm going to need that on a t-shirt! "Regret decision later, make mistakes now!" Lol, I adore you, you always lift my spirits.💚✌🏽
Hahaha :D Merch idea!
I would buy that one@@BasiePlants
@@BasiePlants -I'd definitely buy it!!
Omg!!!! Be still my heart!!! Hoyas so beautiful❤❤❤❤❤❤
They really are
you bring so much joy and brightness to my cynical and bitter little life. thank you for your videos, fellow continental person.
Awww, I am glad the video brought you some joy :D Don't worry, I am also mostly cynical 😂
You lift my spirits! Thank you for the video!
I am glad to hear that
Job well done Miro💚

Your video really motivated me to do some hoya chores:) thank you! also nice eye roll t shirtXD
Haha :D Yes, I love the shirt! It was a b-day gift.
I liked the playlist :)
Yay! :D

Ohhh I’m looking forward to the ‘rant on pon ‘ x
It is coming soon :D
I think my heart is now broken... root mealy can climb up the stem and restarting them may not be affective...😭🤢😭
thank you for saying that.
Same reaction when I heard this info :D Dreams shattered.
I can’t wait for Miro’s Hoya album to drop in 2025
😂 I can't wait to record dramatic music videos for it.
Please please please reveal name on that systemic for mealies 🙏

For regular mealybug, I am using a DIY spray: mineral oil, castille soap and water.
@@BasiePlantsthank you Miro root bastards are killing me past month 😢🤬
