Taco cracks me up how he walks so far just to throw away or picks up stuff. (Work smarter not harder ) you know some of us enjoy watching yard work taco im disabled and can’t do it any more and used to love doing yard work , I still burn leaves .hubby piles the sticks and leaves and I light them up and rake them in the pile and stoke the fire as it’s burning Thats my joy now
Way to go, Taco!! I have never seen a rag collecting bin in our area. Maybe in and around the Chicago area they have them. A good idea. A scrapper's job is more detailed than I knew....plus how can you make a living trying to find metal while spending money on gas! You sure are a diligent worker, Taco!! I really like to see the end results of scrapping: junkyard and payout of the days haul! Happy Thanksgiving.
Wow you found a lot of stuff…Aluminum rims…SCORE!!……I hate this time change, so does the dog….Christmas lights usually just need a new fuse that is found attached in a small plastic bag to the end of the wire…most people just throw them out instead of changing the fuse….Haven’t see a street sweeper since being in Florida…Makes you wonder why we don’t have em for after hurricanes with all the roofing nails in the road….SALSAAAAA❤❤❤
@@edie4321 You’re most welcome...Most of the lights he finds probably work once the fuse is changed...People don't know about the fuse so they throw the lights away...In my younger days I was a Walgreens manager so you learn somethings that just stay with you....Peace
Taco stacks! Taco stacks! Taco stacks! For the win of the day! So cool that you found the mother load of scrap !!! Thanks for taking us along ! I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!!
Love watching you and listening to you. I can't imagine people throwing that money in the trash. Oh, well, at least you found it. This was fun, gand I love going to the junk yard with you. I remember when I was way young we would go to the trash dump with Daddy and back then you threw it all in. We found some pretty cool things in the dump. Then they made it illegal. I wo Der if they buy a storage unit and get it full and then auction it off. Not stinky garbage or anything. You could probably make some bucks. I love you.Stay safe and healthy.😘🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️💞💞✌️👶
Wow what some people throw away!! They probably could’ve sold those rims on marketplace or scraped them like you did. You can send me that yellow Mac chainsaw! That was what caught my eye🤣 👍🏻👍🏻
I hate you scrap the wheels if I was close I would have give you $200. For them I could have sold them for $400 around here, Thanks for another great video 🇺🇸
@@GetDat1I agree. He is a typical scrapper in some ways. All he sees is scrap metal and all too often I have seen him scrap things that I would have been willing to pay him hundreds of dollars for as well as pay for the shipping. It must be nice to have enough money to be happy to throw away money like that.
What is wild ...i have picked up at least 10 vaccuum cleaners. Most worked! The ones that did not...usually easy fix...belt. Gave one to a friend. I use smallest one to keep at my dad's retirement home apartment. 1 of the ones i have. When new....over $300! Both in great condition. Yes, what people throw away!
Hi Taco. It’s nice you found those aluminum wheels it payed for gas lol. Pretty cool you made almost $100.00 from the scrap. Take care . And Happy Thanksgiving 🦃. PEACE. ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️🥰🥰🥰🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
That was a great profit from scrapping - One man's trash is Taco's treasure! What a nice guy at the scrap yard to cut those pieces for you. Have you seen those circular blades for weed whackers? I want one but have no idea if it'll fit my whacker.
One of my best finds was a beat to shit downspout that was about 8lbs. Scored close to $30 at the scrapyeard. Found it in the alley behind where i live. I end up driving around for about 1 1/2 hrs each day, 3 days a week. End up making about 3 TO 4 trips to scrapyard/wk. About $600 to $800/mo. With most of what I find as i drive on my normal course in life. Good extra $$$. LOL!!! i have neighbors sometimes dropping stuff off into my truck or back of my van. Sometimes they just put it in my yard....lol. I plan to ramp things up a little bit. Since I have numerous people that want my number for when they want to unload bigger items, washers, dryers, fridges....etc..... One night near home i went to drive down a dead end street. See guy at stop sign with big truck. I go on my merry way. Turn around and head back. Guy still at stop sign. I am thinking oh geeze is he going to say something as there is a private drive no tresspassing beyond the dead end. I go to drive around him. He gets out. Asks if I would want to haul 2 fridges away that his neighbor has (private drive). I said hell yes!!. So making arrangements to pick them up. The cash I make from this side side hustle....as i say. I turn scrap metal into precious metals! I buy Gold and SIlver with it!!!
Ushuall I just cut the value stem off with a box cutter, 2 seconds. Steel rims can have wheel weight like your van, but aluminium usually are glue on inside to keep: 1) the clean look. 2) corrosion from how steel & aluminium react towards each other. Great day out !👍👍
Hey there taco great video again very interesting I’m surprised that you didn’t sell the weels has one set they were really cool thank you for sharing ❤
If that truck unloading system was in decent shape and in operating condition, they are worth decent money. Those wheels are EXPENSIVE... even used I would guess there's at least $500 but likely much more value there unless they are damaged.. you just threw away A LOT OF MONEY because you didn't take the time to look at what they were worth.
Any Stihl weed Wacker is good I have 2 of them I have a 90 and a 40 I believe and they run like a deer as long as u use the pre mix already mixed up I buy the 94 octane no issues starting them up today I used my Stihl blower as cold as it is out today 4 pulls on choke then to run no problem..there the best tools around I have a Stihl gas hedge trimmer too can't beet them they are expensive but well worth fixing that one...
@@lisacochran5968 I agree with you. I don't understand his reasoning for scrapping them either. Personally I would rather hold on to them and sell them to someone who would use them. I have friends who are scrappers and they are the same way and I have seen them scrap items that had good value because they wanted the extra cash in their pockets immediately and they would happily get the tiny amount of money right away instead of being willing to wait for them to sell to someone even if they would have been able to get 10 times as much for waiting a few days. I am willing to bet that as soon as he left, one of the workers at the scrap yard pulled them out of the scrap pile and set them aside, inspected them and they were put up for sale and they made hundreds of dollars on them or they will within the week.
Actually, those are/were alloy wheels. Aluminum bends way too easily it is usually mixed with other materials to reinforce the wheel for durability and strength.
This isn’t about trash but, I was watching a Rummage sale video. Why won’t you say where you are for rummage sales. I live in the Lehigh valley and would like to go to them as well, it’s not like your the only one there. they are not promoted. The least you could do, you accept gifts from subscribers but tell no Information about where you are except for selling at Flea Markets. Hopefully you will answer, but probably won’t.
What does accepting gifts have to do with giving out advertisements that other content creators with a similar following would charge upwards of $3000? Anyways Pete, to go off your question it seems like you want to go to rummage sales and need a little bit of a lead to get into the business. Don't worry I DON'T expect a donation or for you grease my hands for this information I am going to bless you with. No other content creator will educate their competition like I do, and do it for FREE? That's crazy. Anyways it's the holiday season so Buckle Up, I am feeling like Santa and I am giving out FREE Presents. If you wish to find out about rummage sales check out Craigslist during rummage sale season. I also see them when I am driving around. I then write them down and put them in my calendar for future years. I also write down how well I did and if I want to go back. I do NOT get contacted by churches that they are going to have a sale or do they send me an email/notification.
Taco buy yourself some pre mix gas for that weed Wacker the Stihl's carbs last a whole lot longer with the premix you buy at like tractor supply company I go to I use the 94 but that one there u have I'd use the 91 octane that would be the red can I have the black and blue can that's the 94 octane can it's a little pricey but I'll tell u what my dad's chainsaw is hard to start and it's a Stihl you run the premix in it she fires right up fast way way better than mixing it yourself trust me you won't regret it...

Would you not have made more selling the wheels on craigslist or facebook ?
Damaged
Save the wheels for flea market they are worth about 2 to 500 dollars 😢

Judging by the size of those rims, and if they weren't damaged, you'd have made a LOT more money selling them outright...
