I still don't understand why they didn't record the audio from 'One Night Only in English' performance and released it! 🤷🏼♂️ It would have been great to have an updated Starlight Express CD/digital release in English! Same for the current 2021 German show/songs!
I watched Starlight at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London, was amazing. After this pandemic, I'd like to go to Bochum, need to fresh up my German. Both watching the show and when ordering food, in shops etc.
Take me back to the original cast performance in London. Even with all the techno this one just doesn’t have the weight of the original. It just seems scattered...not tight. 😢
For those who say they want to see it again in the UK... its coming next summer to the Troubadour in Wembley... sounds like its going to be a specially built theatre like Bochum so I cannot wait!!!

i once in my teens, i was on a school trip to london and seen starlight express i even found the cassette tape of it last year. i know they change a few like the smoking car. but its my all time favourite musical, i cannot waiting for it to return to london this year.

He was a bit scared of flying to our home country He has a girlfriend that is a kind of famous model.. im telling the truth! i’ll even give more infoo!
there is a whole audio recording on youtube that has been edited to be in synch with another bootleg most of the time. i have it too. Maybe 2 years is a bit late
I disagree. I was a Bochum stage manager in 88-89 and hadn't seen the show since then. I thought it was great. Of course there are things that I missed, but in the overall, I thought it was a really good update and just as fun, if not more so, than the original. It's been running for 30 years - which is amazing - and it doesn't feel old. I'm looking forward to seeing it again in another 30 years.

I saw it 4 times in London, and it still was not enough - even if the re-vamped version lost some of the magic.
They need to build a similar stadium and bring it back to the UK. Hoping the UK cast members are ok, regarding Brexit
Couldn’t agree more, the updated version is terrible. The new characters, songs, costumes etc aren’t a patch on the old version.

I know :( especially caboose's character, i know CB doesnt exist anymore but the songs he sang were still amazing.
