Paepp. This is a very cool build that sorts out some of the issues ive had when playing altergiest, mainly turn 2.
Witu current meta the version i played has nothing to stop shira setting up pop 2/3, or pk full combo. Magical dimension can counter shira link 3 i believe. And blue eyes too! They can essentially tribute their guys for nothing.
Its also a nice out to ophion/darl requiem (if they dont have lance).
Plus crackdown to yoink and change for Fiji

Funny you say Altergeists are toxic when Phantom Knights are right there. The current state of Phantom Knights is nothing but toxic and I'm praying that the deck is hit in some way because they go first, they're probably winning the game right then and there. That's literally the reason I added x3 Dark Hole to my Altergeist deck, because I'm tired of losing to Phantom Knight sack. There's literally no deck that's playing through an endboard consisted of Raider's Unbreakable Mind pop, Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon negate (and destroy), Evilswarm Ophion floodgate, Infestation Terminus bounce for x2, and whatever other backrow they just hard opened. You need to essentially play through all of that disruption going second with a x5 card starting hand, which isn't easy, and it really stinks that Phantom Knights have turned into this toxic, sacky mess. I like Phantom Knights and how they use the graveyard to make plays, but nah man, the current floodgate version with Ophion just ain't it and I'm hoping Konami addresses it and nerfs it so Phantom Knights can be played pure once again, without the Ophion floodgates.
As for Altergeists, the deck's not toxic at all and anyone who says the deck is toxic clearly hates backrow in Duel Links when backrow is the main form of player interaction. Man, I swear, the people that call Altergeists (a trap deck) toxic are the same people that want Hey Trunade unbanned because they want to play their turn completely undisrupted. I'm sorry that your tier 35 Axe Raider beatdown deck isn't cutting it anymore against Altergeists, but sometimes you gotta wake up, realize Axe Raider beatdown isn't good anymore, and invest in a better deck that's more up to date with the meta. Either that or find a deck that's able to consistently push through enemy backrow and enemy disruptions.

For the phantom knights and toxic part, don’t get it wrong, I think the common conception is that “trap abuse”= “toxic” and that’s where the altergeist label comes from 🤔
Anything that stop people from playing is toxic. Geist gets the attention because it's trap based deck which ppl often mixed it with the impression brain dead backrow deck, or unga bunga 😂
Be aware that if you use IDP, Multifaker's effect to summon an Altergeist monster cant be activated. Or vice versa if you use the effect first

How u get so many gems do u even pay or use your ingame gems to get new cards?
No money, just farming, a lot of patience and most of all: I don’t buy all the boxes! Example, for the last mini, I just had one run (spending 5k gems) but I already had more than 15k saved up as I skipped the previous ones

Wrong! I tested altergeist on Sunday and they were already ready, while for fabled there are so many types of builds that can focus on different extradecks! Coming soon!

Nice video Paepp, but I keep noticing a major misplay that you keep doing. In every single one of your games, I don't understand why you keep activating Personal Spoofing and immediately after, you keep shuffling back your Multifaker only to search out Multifaker. There is literally no point in doing that since you essentially just wasted your Personal Spoofing shuffle and Multifaker will still special summon herself even if you don't shuffle her back with Personal Spoofing. Multifaker special summons herself on a trap card's resolution, so what you need to do is put your toggle to ON, activate Personal Spoofing, don't shuffle, and once Personal Spoofing resolves, activate Multifaker's effect to special summon herself and combo off from there. That way, if the opponent were to disrupt your Multifaker with a Forbidden Chalice or something, you can just dodge it with the Personal Spoofing shuffle by tagging Multifaker out of there and dodging the Chalice. The way you were doing it was wasting the Personal Spoofing shuffle to search Multifaker when you already had it in your hand and there's literally no point in doing that since that leaves you vulnerable to your Multifaker getting hit by a Chalice with you having no way to dodge it.
As for this decklist, it looks pretty good, but I would personally cut the third Silquitous out for a third Meluseek. I know you only own two Meluseek, but eh, three Silquitous is super bricky since it's the deck's brick and you never want to see it in your hand over Meluseek. Even cutting the third Silquitous for another trap is feasible, but that's just how I'd play it after multiple King of Games entries with Altergeists. The other stuff in the deck is spicy but not really my cup of tea so I'm glad to see that you made it work. I don't personally run Fifinellag or Dragvirion, but I see the appeal to them. And as for Magical Dimension, I have been playing a card similar to that, but in the form of Dark Hole, as I think Dark Hole is better right now due to Phantom Knight meta. It's personal preference, but I tailor-made my Altergeist deck so I can completely shut down Phantom Knights going second via Dark Hole sacking.
I've been having a lot of fun with the new Altergeist skill and I'm super excited you were able to make an Altergeist video. You always have a way of bringing out the spiciest decklists and I'll probably end up trying your decklist in a future stream or something for my monthly King of Games run! Cheers Paepp! Totally feel you, dark hole is way better than magical dimension overall but keep in mind that the magical dimentsion reaches its peak of spice when combined with the dragvirion (as you tribute it and it comes back), without taking into account the chance to be able to summon multifaker even going second on your first turn!
I really hope you’ll try this one day, as I’m sure you would optimize it and maybe, who knows, make it even more than kog worthy! 🤓

Yeah not gonna happen. Unfortunately for you, Crackdown is a box Ultra Rare card and because it's a high rarity card from a box, the most Konami can do to Crackdown is a limit 3 (where it's at now) or an unlimit (not going to happen). If you're that concerned about Crackdown, then I guess just play a better deck that can play through your monster being hit by that Crackdown. There are many decks that can play through limit 3 backrow so Crackdown isn't an issue. Yes it's annoying, but one Crackdown isn't dictating the game right then and there, like you still have to play the game out to determine a winner. If one limit 3 backrow determined every game then every game would be a coinflip on who opened their limit 3's first and that's not really how duels are decided. There's some element of luck involved on who opened better, but one or two limit 3's aren't going to win the duel on the spot, depending on opening hands and endboards that were set.
That being said, if Crackdown does become an issue in any deck, Konami isn't going to target Crackdown itself since the card is already on the limit 3 banlist. They will just hit cards in that specific deck to get them off of the limit 3 backrow. That's why when a tier one deck is born, and that tier one deck becomes overwhelmingly strong, Konami will "love tap it" with limit 3's on their key cards to prevent them from having access to limit 3 backrow, the most powerful traps in the game, namely that Crackdown that you're so concerned about.
In terms of Altergeists though, Altergeist Meluseek was literally just removed from the limit 3 banlist because as I said, Altergeists weren't doing anything in the meta and weren't topping any tournaments, Konami agreed with me, and thus they granted my wish and took Altergeist Meluseek off the limit 3 banlist for that very reason, to give them access to the broken limit 3 backrow to give the deck the boost it needed to keep pace with the metagame's power level. Altergeists having limit 3 backrow is a good thing because at the end of the day, we are a Trap deck. We need our Traps to make our plays. Altergeist Meluseek did not deserve to be limit 3 on release and again, Konami agreed with me, and as the #1 Altergeist player here, I am hoping Altergeists do not get any banlist hits. I don't deserve my Altergeist deck getting hit by a limit 3 because as a Trap deck, I deserve access to my limit 3 backrow just as the tier one decks have access to their limit 3 backrow. But hey, my Altergeist deck isn't even tier one whereas decks like Phantom Knights and Shaddolls are tiered and thus the reason they will get hit on the next banlist, to remove their limit 3 backrow access if Konami deems them too strong.
@@crimsonreaper5293 the problem is, not just 2+ or more interruption. even stronger deck that can go through multiple distruption can lose advantages by losing card because it always forced way out to grab the choke card. Heck can be a pain even it's just 1 interruption.
futhermore, u won't be bricking as much compared to using the other limit 3 trap, especially Ice dragon prison. Not to mention the abuse of skill deck using it as +1 mats. Can't expect to draw the out if they done it in same turn of activation and sending off ur card with skill or heck just link it.
Even Gold Sarcophagus despite being old and only available in structure and selection are limit 2, why it's the only UR getting worse treatment, it's not free.... so it's okay not be picky on rarity after all is it?. I would be expecting crackdown to go to 1 for same reason, limiting it to 2 is idk could be giving ppl more access to limit 3 row too aswell.
I know that konami knew ppl would be mad for limiting UR, I'm guessing one of the factor making archetype cheaper or card accessible is by releasing a stronger card undervalue rarity, SR below...
This game is just force ppl to accept a certain rule that the company themselves made mistake. By not properly balancing it. It's not okay at all, heck I play MD because of duel link Madness lol

(Grimro search a fabled kushano discard the searched fabled + skill to discard the kushano add back grimro do it over n over again )u can make the 2 lvl 5 with it and try to get formula synchron along the way
And there are lots of 4 cards shooting quasar combos without really needing the draw
U only need 1 draw for the discard with field spell
