It is a bit strange but he is amongst the tennis players you can bet to win at Australian Open next year. He is said to be retiring this year but I think he should keep playing the clay court season as I believe he still can produce great quality on this surface for the time to come as well. He has probably not thought about that. He should not play tournaments where he has to play several days in a row, and look at Sinner, the young guy, already having problems with his hip but he is still playing multiple tournaments in a row. Why don't the tennis organizations demand better scheduling with more days off for their players? I think Sinner is stupid and that his game might be too based on physical strengths which will lead to his body breaking down and that he will play hampered in several matches. Holger Rune is very young and cannot play many matches in a row before you see he gets some physical issues, and now Alcaraz is playing with a huge bandage. These players rush recovery periods too much and their team is responsible for it. Tennis is such a demanding sport and they can play 10.5-11 months a year and it is obvious to me that they should have at least one day off between matches and in grand slams even more I think. It is so sad that Rafa must retire. I wish he could sign up for the French Open every year till he is at least 40 years. Maybe in 15 years his male child(ren), Djokovic's male children and Federers male children will play in the ATP.

HINT: Lahecka played aheck ofa match eh! brilliant serves and drop shots were too much for rafas legs, hes just not fast enough to get to the ball any more, and lahecka body shots were taking nadal by surprise, he couldnt get out of the way in time to move enough to get a decent foothold to return the body shots. Time to pass the Tennis Torch nadal, to the younger players, hang up the tournament tennis and play doubles or exhibition matches.
