I have a 2019 premier and I hate that you can’t save songs like you could on the old system I had on my Malibu. Also the the fan blower does not cut back when you get a phone call. Loved that on the Malibu.
Can you use breadcrumbs/route trace? Some cars have it where your gps self will leave a trail of dots where you have been for a certain number of miles so you can learn new shortcuts and such.
Once you set the equalizer (bass-mid-treble) how do you save the settings or lock it in. Every time I park my vehicle the settings return to zero so I have to reset it. With all the bells and whistles on these cars thr has to be a way to lock it in but I can't figure it out. TY

I can give you the answer to your question and it is NO and here is why. The software for the Infotainment 3 system on the 2019 models operate with a 2.5 hardware system for the 2020 models they are on a 3.0 hardware system to get the new Sirius XM 360L. So much for the glorious promises of this Infotainment 3system of being able to upgrade and update.

Yes. It will read it automatically once it's plugged in. Hit audio source. Menu options include artists, albums, genre etc...Easier to use than my 2015 GM system.

When your phone is connected via Bluetooth , it runs audio services only. Your SMS runs off of your service provider for your phone therefore the phone needs to be physically able to access your firmware in order to display text messages.
I have a 2020 and this is very similar but so far no one can get the Bluetooth to get connected and the radio can't take (delete) out the stations that people have programmed. Can you help?

I Just did software update on mine and now get sd card removed error, and I haven't touched anything. I followed directions of the update and now it continues rebooting, buzzing and that error shows up

My husband just leased a 2019 Rogue LT. Dealership has tried twice to connect his phone without success. I also tried and thought that his phone was connected ... codes matched, tried to place a call and nothing happened. I agree, the screen is RIDICULOUSLY bright at night, even using the knob by the drivers Left knee. Only option i have found is to turn the display off.
I have a question. It's kind of odd but I am really desperate to figure this out. I've been calling Chevy dealers and Chevy corporate, no one seems to know or much less has a guess. I have a 2019 Equinox Premier but it lacks the nav system since it doesn't have the sunroof. I know the module between the non-nav system and the nav system is the same and that swapping them out would be a simple unplug, switch, plug back in job, but my dealer isn't cooperating with me on that even though I wouldn't mind paying full price for the nav module. I'm almost at the point of doing the job myself (yes, I'm aware it would void the radio warranty). How realistic would it be to demand my dealer do that switcharoo for me so I have the nav system on my module? OR, is there some way to get just the software installed to include the nav system? I wanted to add on that before buying the car several dealers told us they can add the GPS, just come in. Same dealers are now saying that's not possible.
Look at the left bottom of your steering wheel below the AC thing and there’s going to be a a little logo that looks like a gauge and just push it and it’ll pop out and then turn it and you’ll be able to adjust the brightness of the whole interior lighting

You may have to check your settings for the fan blower. I know with my truck it does cut off when I get a phone call.
When your phone is connected can you add apps like Uber eats so you can see the way its telling you on the screen

Should give you the option at the bottom of your backup camera. It will be two lines lined up.

Is there a way to activate the backup camera while in drive and use it as a resr view mirror (to help see in the blind spots while changing lanes ECT)
To my knowledge there is not. It is a safety feature. They only let you do like 5 MPH with it in.

Just purchased the 2020 Equinox. Radio is frozen and will not turn off. The screen is all black as well. Can you reset it ?
