We begin a new arc in the Naruto Rewrite. This time Deidara and Tobi are coming to the Waterfall Village to capture Fuu, the Jinchuriki of the 7 Tails. Deidara vs Seven Tails will be one of those fights between the Akatsuki and the Jinchurikis we didn't really see in the original, so Fixing Naruto here would be more adding additional interesting things.
Tobi is also a fine addition. I apolgize if you find my Tobi voice over annoying (or cringe), but I like doing the voices and I always try to sound like the original Japanese version. (I have no idea how he sounds in English because I've never watch an anime episode in English).
We will also see some characters again in this episode of Rewriting Naruto Shippuden such as Sasuke Uchiha with Hebi, Karin, Suigetsu, and Juugo. We will also see everyone's favorite Toad Sage, Jiraiya.

That... is the most psychotic and badass quote that Deidara could've ever made. If I didn't know any better, I would've thought it was a canon quote. How do you come up with these?
So if Tobi's identity is the same in the rewrite as it was in the original, which seems to be the case, then that means that Obito, the mastermind leading the Akatsuki, genuinely saw an old lady minding her own business and decided that he would fall from hundreds of feet in the air just to crush her. Like, he calculated the amount of time it would take him to land on top of her from the bird, all while staying in character pretending to fall, consciously not activating Kamui which is probably a reflex for him at this point, and then making a dark joke to the lady's liquified corpse. He really held a grudge against that old lady that made him arrive late to the mission back when he was 13.

You did an excellent job showcasing just how much of an insane and cruel villain Dedara is. Choosing to destroy the waterfall village instead of just taking Fū just cause is completely in character for him.

I like how Sasuke in this has become a sort of runaway Batman. He even has a pseudo no kill rule that makes it so he doesn't feel iredeemable in the future.

Straight up! I've been sharing them with as many people i know as i can who love Naruto.

I'm curious to see how her Seven Tails transformations would look like as you've mentioned that each Jinchuruki would have their own unique tailed beast transformation.
Also, I wonder if Naruto would get to meet Fū? Probably not but a cheerful spirit is smth that Naruto probably needs after the shit he went through in the Land of Whirlpools 💀

I hope he gets to meet atleast one or two of the Jinchuriki. Naruto doesn't interact with any of them other than Bee canonically, and he only meets them once they're all dead.

Also, if this Fu is anything like the original. She would be the prescedant that Jinchuriki and Tailed Beasts can be friends. She isn't mastered like Bee was, but she showed such coordination with the partial transformations. So she could basically help Naruto recognize that he hurt 9 Tails and damaged a potential budding relationship when his recklessness nearly destroyed Kurama's being. Naruto could take the first real step and apologize for carelessly putting him through all that.

Man, as unfortunate as it is in-universe it's good that you showed the different ways the jinchuuriki are treated in their respective villages. Fu definitely deserved better but at least she has good showings in this rewrite. That laser beam was a neat touch to make the 7-tails a bit more distinct from the rest.

@@roeimakikiderikadragontwin9898 Yeah that's what he's saying. This is more in line with the actual cannon than the filler. The jinchuuriki are supposed to be shunned and feared, but we barely get the feeling that is the case in the original series.
Not aure if that's due to a blunder by Kishimoto or Shounen Jump not letting him depict such things, but either way, seeing the hate and fear people have towards them is much more powerful than having Naruto say "people didn't like me cuz I'm a jinchuuriki" or whatever.

I'm surprised the 7-tails was taken down so easily. I figured the 7 tail's jinchuriki would've created typhoons, and tempests. Used silk, to try to halt the flying. Hopefully fu will be ok.. her dying early would be a shame but, narratively it'd make sense..
True but feel like having some of the Jinchuriki escape like Killer B did would be interesting. After all Killer B escaped having Gouki use a tail to take the place of the whole beast while he escaped.
I like to imagine your rewrite being adapted and animated in a tv series. Kazekage rescue arc, Kurutshuchi flashback and Tenchi Bridge arc would be AMAZING KICKOFF SEASON. With that anticlimactic Sasuke vs Naruto fight to finish a season off. And Oni-mask breaking as final cliffhanger. Season 2 being like redemption arc where Naruto gets stronger both physically (Akatsuki repression arc) and mentally Uzimaki Lands arc. Also closing mistery surrounding the Oni. Now I imagine season 3 starting with this diabolic fight, it's just amazing and pure hype.

Probably did it on purpose per his VERY dark and morbid sense of humor.
It’s as if he was mocking the old version of himself for helping old ladies across the street rather than showing up for training on time and getting stronger (so he could save Rin), for example.
I have been loving your rewrites so much. As a woman who enjoys Naruto I love how you are writing the female characters so much better then Kishimoto. I can tell that you put time and effort into them so that there weren’t just a trope like healer or love interest. I hope the rewrites continue.

This was the worst part of this rewrite. The girl could say that she would kill herself if Deidara harm one of those people in order to protect 'em. Plus this arc was basically filler.
Damn another great part. One thing I really like about your rewrites is how you develop the world by creating new villages, characters etc which not only improve the story but characters too. Also I really like deidara and fu fight and I am kinda upset that you didn't do the same with hidan/kakuzu vs yugito but I can deal with that. Anyway great part as always and your tobi and deidara voice imitation is just fabulous

Man Tobi and the old man thing turned dark, but damm it was funny. And did you have to leave at that cliffhanger man, get the likes already can't wait to see the next part. I have a suggestion as well, I think Tobi should have a better reaction when he learns to Dedara's death than in the original, it can be sadness or showing no emotion at all, but more than a single line as a sendoff.

I just hope that during the eventual fight with Sasuke and Deidara, something better than the Manda escape comes up (my hopes: Sasuke gets sent to the Kamui dimension at the last second. And Tobi tells him exactly where Itachi is.)
No that won't change Dygo knight made an entire video on how Sasuke using Manda wasn't an asspull , they even foreshadowed . In the beginning of fight in manga when deidara tried delivering the first blow once the explosion hit and smoke cleared Sasuke had already summoned a snake to protect him and ppl say he ran of chakra which they base on deidara statement which is not true deidara is not a sensory ninja , so he can't no how much chakra someone has and Sasuke still had his sharingan on finally it was shown if Sasuke runs of chakra , orochimaru will come out in his hydra form to try and take Sasuke body like in the itachi, the fights, just for some reason ppl see it as plot armor , jiraya at less 30% strength could summon gammabunta , the fight won't change

I hope that Sasuke takes out Deidara and inadvertently saves Fuu, allowing her to do more. The Jinchuriki were underutilized (Gaara, Bee, and Naruto excluded). I assume pretty much all of the others have been captured off screen. So I hope that at least Fuu gets to do more than just die.

1 thing I really hope we see in the rewrite Is Bee having a Gyuki chakra mode. Not a simple bijuu cloak but like Naruto when he befriends Kurama. It would make total sense and It would be extremly cool to see.
Technically speaking in canon even Yugito and Matatabi should have the equivalent of kcm 1 because It was established by Bee that he helped Yugito doing the fight with the tailed best that leads to kcm1
Dygo said in one of his videos that every jinchuriki having the same chakra cloaks was lame cuz it got repetitive and it made the 9 tails less special, so he is going to change the chakra cloak designs of each jinchuriki (like he did with Yugito when Hidan and Kakuzu where introduced)

Another great episode fight between Deidara and seven tails was 🔥🔥🔥.So the man who told Jiraya about Pain clearly was under genjutsu that means Itachi was in the village and warned Jiraya about rinegan. 🤔I wonder how will it change future events ?
My theory is that it won't really. Jiraya will still die in the rain village this was only used to place hints that Itachi was a good guy all along and to show Jiraya getting this information wich gives of a sense of mystery. At least that's my take on it😅

Really hope she escaped similar to Killer B using like a wing in her case instead of tentacle to escape. Could have done so during the impact leaving an unconscious portion of her tailed beast behind while she escaped under ground.

I really like the set-piece of Jiraiya's encounter with Sasuke: how they were set on a collision course in an interesting location. You also did a good job of conveying how to visualize how that scene would look and play out in the anime.

A suggestion: Kiba should be able to transform into something like the pains dog summoning
Being able to create multiple shadow clones and then splitting up when attacked would be really cool to see
Suggestion for Pain once he starts getting a lot of screentime: A dog summon super-compound eye complex. Have him exploit the living hell out of his invincible multiplying dog summon by repeatedly damaging the dog thousands of times to spawn thousands of dog summons, then have them all bunch together to form a giant compound eye complex, like how insects have many thousands of simple eyes to process information at faster rates. Since Pain can see through each summon, he'll be processing everything at much slower motion than how he usually see things (similar to the Sharingan minus the genjutsu and copying bits) and also have basically Byakugan levels of FoV. Since these dogs can fly, Pain can have them float above the Rain Village or Konoha as a giant super-compound eye in the sky. It will be impossible to catch him off guard, and with the Animal and Naraka Paths standing on or inside the mass of dogs, they'll be extremely difficult to reach and take down since the dogs will only multiply the more they are killed. It would be even better if small scenes of him training himself with this tactic were added for foreshadowing on how truly deadly he can be.
I haven't seen the video yet, but I wanna say how amazing your work is. I can't even imagine how much time you spent on the whole series, but God, I am so much enjoying this series. Sad, that this isn't get a lot of views, but still. Even if you won't finish it - it's the best fanfiction that I've ever seen I my life. Thank you for your work(btw sorry if there are some mistakes, English is not the first language)

From the beginning to this point your series got me more immersed than the original Naruto despite the obvious limitations this style of storytelling has. You managed to get past it and nailed it! In my opinion anime had too many cheap solutions like substitution jutsu that were constantly breaking tension and weight of this world, but you managed to fix that and do it with interest. Massive respect for that! From myself I would like to give a small idea I recently had that would be cool to be placed somewhere in a story: doing two one-hand jutsus in a same time by one character. It's a small thing but would make a character performing it feel (all)mighty. If you read my comment this far I hope you are planning to give some love to Konan. She got much more "screentime" than in the original but it kinda hurts me seeing my favourite character gets destroyed so badly ;)

I love Fu's cheerful personality from the anime and wished to see it explored in the rewrite, but under those grim circumstances. It wouldn't have worked. So I understand. I just wanted to see how her and Naruto would vibe. Plus, if she is anything like her cannon counterpart, she could set the precedent that Jinchuriki and Tailed Beasts can be friends. She isn't mastered like Bee, but they got among the best coordination out of the 9. Naruto needs to somehow make it up to Kurama after nearly destroying him in his attempt to save the Mom and this meeting could lead him to realize that.
I know for sure that Itachi planted that guy for Jiraiya to find.
It was such a nice detail that Jiraiya's chakra resembles Naruto's. Like Student like Master. i am excited to see how this goes. You've proven that Sasuke is a legitimate threat to Jiraiya in this rewrite, but knowing them. It's not going to come down to blows. This is going to be a clash of ideologies, but this should give Sasuke a good update on Naruto's status and where he got those peace ideals from.
Thing is, we know how Sasuke basically replaces Jiraiya as the shadow hokage of the leaf, and they had those interesting talks in the anime. I wonder if this is going to be set up for Sasuke's endgame beyond revenge.

2) Seeing Jiraiya's performance against Kisame, it would be unthinkable to assume he would fair better against Pain. Do you have any plans to amp Jiraiya or give him any new jutsus? Will a fire style Rasengan make an appearance?
3) Seeing as how Sasuke is beating five tails Naruto but considered himself weaker than Itachi, will the fight between Sasuke and Itachi be slightly different?
Jiraya didn't use sage mode against Kisame. Maybe it will be stronger here.

Jiraya only lost to Kisame cuz he didn't let him charge his sage mode, and Jiraya didn't have the shield frog in the moment to assist him, (arguably the best frog for this occasion) and the layout of the place didn't help either with him also having to protect Naruto and Kurotsuchi, so I think he's going to have a "better time" charging his sage mode against Pain

Loved the worldbuilding. I do not know if you read One Piece, something I like very much about it is that whenever an Arc ends, Oda updates us on whatever is going on around the world. Naruto was the worst at doing this at the time. We almost never knew what was happening in other villages. My recommendation for your rewrite: Let the world feel alive, Naruto is not the god of the universe, nor Akatsuki have eyes only on him. Team 7 doesn´t have to be everywhere. Naruto has an incredible cast of side characters you can use.
Also, please let the other 4 major villages be relevant as well. The leaf does NOT have to be the best at everything. Specially for the War Arc
Kishimoto wanted to have more arc before the chunin exam like visiting each village but the editor forced to cut down nije and the others were supposed to die in the sasuke rescue arc but just like guy they were pupuler and the editor forced him to keep them alive
Another banger of an episode for my favorite series on youtube of all time! I love when you do these original arcs because you do such a great job of expanding parts of the story and fleshing characters out that did not have sufficient screen time in the original story. And I don't know about everyone else but I love when you do the voices. Keep up the great work and can't wait for the next episode!
I'd suggest making Sasuke's sword a special weapon or he finds a sword with special properties. In canon I found it odd that the blade did not get damaged or destroyed at least once.
Another great addition. However I think Tobi could've kamuied Fuu to the statue after he picked her up. Though Deidara would've most likely notice and cause problems for him.
Interesting touch with Tobi actions, he knows what Deidara would do if he told the truth and he just want to take the Jinchuuriki

Given both of their situations fighting would be a waste of time regardless of who wins, the fight between those 2 will will bring a LOT of destruction and in a very populated place which is something neither side wants, since both of them are very smart individuals they will try and talk it out. Sasuke will propose a deal that in exchange for Jiraiya letting him go right now he will personally kill 2 akatsuki members (Deidara and Itachi of course), Jiraiya will be temped at first and he will disagree because he doesn't know when he will get this chance with Sasuke again, Sasuke will get annoyed and up the deal even more and on top of killing two international criminals he will also give Jiraiya all the information he gets from Deidara about the akatsuki and Jiraiya will agree. They would agree on a place to meet up after he gets the information and he tells Jiraiya something like "I have a sensory type in my crew so don't try anything stupid like show up to the place with more leaf ninjas unless you don't want your information", and this is how Jiraiya will find out about the hideout.
I wonder if the old lady that Obito helped cross the street was the same one that Tobi crushed on his fall... Probably not but still... time really changed Tobi's view on the Elderly LOL

I like that you build your theory's to narrow the "plot holes". How Intel gets to jiraya and the explanation of the one handed handsigns.

I was low-key expecting to see Gaara's reaction when Fuu got captured by Deidara and Tobi because In the Shippuden, they two actually met before during the Chunnin Exam that was held in the village hidden in the sand. And I was also kinda hoping that after Gaara heard the report, he then looks back on the memories he has with Fuu and seeing her bright smile, then we saw Gaara with a calm face, telling the sand ninja to summon Kankuro and Temari in the office, while hiding his frustration with his clenching fist behind his desk.
Not only we can see Dygo's take on Temari and Kankuro's voice and how they act and I think it make sense, considering that Fuu and Gaara are also somewhat friends after the incident that both of them experienced. Also, we can see how Kankuro and Temari will fight against Tobi and Deidara and it can be some sort of a redemption arc for them after they failed preventing Gaara from being captured by the Akatsuki and wasn't able to help the leaf ninjas because one, Kankuro got poisoned and two, Temari was left behind to act temporary as the Kazekage in the village. Maybe they can save Fuu, maybe they can't, who knows. But yeah, this is just my suggestion lol. Whether Dygo will consider this or not, I still enjoy this rewrite story 10x better than the Shippuden lol
