They give you a PE template frame to scribe a rectangular panel on the back!
Cool!
Another outstanding product review, great video and presentation. Thank you. I buy many of the items you review.
Thank you very much! :)
I'm building this right now. All in all a great kit, apart from some things. Like you already said, engine top cover should be a separate piece, also those two hatches, on the lower wing part, that must be filled - like WHY? Wouldn't it been easier to make a wing without those two hatches because so far in every Eduard's Mustang kit you must fill them and scribe that additional hatch. Wouldn't it be a lot easier to make a template to scribe those two hatches for those rare aircraft that require them?
Eduard also updated Mustang molds a bit. I'm not sure when it happened, they fixed the exhausts, but they are not hollow any more, you must drill them out yourself, which is not that much of a problem. Also that crossbar on lower wing part, which like separates left and right wheel bays, was straight in my kit, however I bent it myself while handling the part. 😁
ah, maybe it is a special thing for next versions, who knows... :D
@@dsv yeah, it probably is! But still, it's kinda odd that Eduard chose to make a part with them and tell modellers fill those in like every kit so far, go figure. 😄 But other than that it is a great kit, more detailed than any offering from other companies. Now that exhausts are fixed you hardly need any aftermarket for it.
Another home run review by DSV!
В травле дают шаблон для нарезания прямоугольника на спине!
Круто!
