I've been wearing the same pair for 4 years... definitely past their prime by now. But I still wear them. Excellent shoes, the most comfortable I've ever owned. Love the black/anthracite color, gets lots of compliments. Finally found a new pair in my size as they don't make this color anymore.
Good review, I agree with the assessment. Here's to many more miles in these comfortable shoes! 🎉
I find the rear stability of the shoe an issue when running. Otherwise, the fit, feel and cushioning to be excellent.
How does the sizing run? Are they narrow? How's the toebox? I tried the Nike Epic React 2 before and they were kinda narrow in the toebox, how do these compare to them or to an Altra for example?
Of 2000 reviews on amazon, 87% say the toebox is just right and 89% say it is true to width. IMO, they are true to my size, I'm a 12. I have long, wide, thin feet like flippers. Not sure how they would compare to the react or altra shoes. If you have a concern with sizing, trying these on in-person would be beneficial before buying. They may carry these in a big box store like Dick's sporting goods. I have found them at a Nike outlet. Comfort wise, better than the zooms.
@@valdetics I'm just concerned that they would be narrow and irritate my toes in the toebox. We are in a lockdown now where I live so returns are not an option at most stores around me, who switched to online only, which is not helpful in determining the fit of the shoe, that's why I rely on others who might share their experience with the model and maybe other models so I can get a sense of how it might fit me
@@johnny872 there is a 13 percent chance you would be dissatisfied I would say then, given your circumstance there is inherent risk but i don't see covid or lockdown measures going away any time soon IMHO.
