- We are in Santa Clara for the Hollywood Connection dance convention for a full weekend and official start of the dance competition season. Addie joins an older class, performs and competes on stage for the FIRST time, I do a parent class without embarrassing my kids, and Lilia gives off all teenage vibes as she goes about the weekend with her friends.

Girl, I’ve been here from the very beginning, when you was first pregnant with Lilia! I think it’s time you make a video about what’s been happening with your friends ! You’ve had a number of friends come out and say some pretty crazy things. The last one being amber ?! You had a whole podcast and seemed to be besties the four of you, and now all of a sudden their is no podcast, ambers coming out and saying she was forced into RUclips and that crazy things happened with you guys and that they’re getting divorced and all these things! I think an explanation is needed for your long time followers

Lillia your skills are continually improving and you look fantastic.
I'm not a dancer, have no clue in reality. However, I know what I see is good! It is clear your children are very natural in their movements, the boys too when they danced but their hearts belong to football (soccer). I reckon that their dancing past will help them with coordination and fitness in any sport they choose. Jess you do very well to get them everywhere they need to be and you should be applauded for encouraging the children in the extra curricular activities as well as just being able to plan the timetable lol!...

Lillian's dancing has gotten sooo good it's unreal ✋😭
I do have a few tips though. She has so much power and energy in her, and it definitely shows in her routines! Just sometimes you gotta be careful that TOO much energy doesn't come through. If you're not careful, power could easily be mistaken as sloppiness. So if Lillia just takes her energy down a notch and put it into control for her limbs(every part, even just her fingers), she will improve even more!
Ps. This rule is especially important for ones with longer limbs(I struggle with this cause I have log legs even though I'm short 🥲) and this is coming from the daughter of a dance instructor lol

I haven't gone back to dance since 2020 and this made me miss it. Hoping to go back after recitals etc are over I'm may and start up again in the summer, I miss all the caous of performing

I used to do thoes hair wraps for kids in primary school, they not hard you so could do it, you don't want them in for much more the 2 weeks as it makes the hair go bad, them seem to do braids a lot more intense in America, I had plaits with beads done in Bali didn't hurt and lots of kids did too

Was so worried about that yarn coming out. When I was in grade 6 or 7 it was totally a common thing. Did it on both sides of my head and had to cut at the roots on both sides, traumatic. PS love how much Lilia gives to her performance.
I have gotten my hair braided like that. It hurts for sure! They just braid really fast and tight. That is why.
When I was a kid we used to just cut it from the roof and just have a little shitty spot on our head lol 90s babies

There was always a lady who did those hairthingies at the summer markets in my town growing up, so I had them every year. We always just cut them out at the roots. At some point she started selling them attached to little clawclips so you could put them in and take them out whenever. Hers had more intricate designs though

Conventions/competitions are so exhausting. We much preferred the events that were competition only. We usually attended KAR, Rainbow, Showstopper, Countdown, Spotlight, etc. We would attend one convention together as a studio but didn’t compete - usually NUVO.
