I remember staying at my grandmother's house on Saturday nights, I always had to go to church on the Sunday morning and I was always focusing on the ceiling or counting the tiles on the floor or just struggling to stay awake 😂 That was the life of Irish grandchildren back then
there are a few theories about what the intro is about. It is said he is either an alien or an angel who tries to adapt to/learn about humans. In fact the voices in the intro sing the following in Latin: "Here is the man who is a Bean, ..."
The test episode is more funnier when you find out Rowan Atkins actually has a masters in Electrical engineering, so the test would of been easy for him to solve.
I started watching Mr Bean when I was a kid. It came on Public Television. I now own the entire series on dvd. I also have an officially licensed Mr. Bean Teddy that was made back in the 90s.
I love Mr. Bean. I remember watching him on and off as a kid. I still watch him now, brings back so many memories. I used to feel like the only mr bean fan my age. I feel so much better now knowing im not the only one anymore
Hi JP! If you like Mr Bean you will also like "Black Adder" there are 4 series. Black Adder 1 he is similar to Mr Bean but the best ones are series 2 -4 where he changes his character somewhat.
First, he should watch the first 2 seasons of Monty Python. THEN it's time for Fawlty Tower, I mean Faw ty To w er, I mean Wa rty Towels, Watery Fowls, Flay Otters, Fatty Owls, Flowery Twats, Farty Towels... one more time... Fawlty Towers... phew
He does the voice of zazu in the lion king, so you’d probably know him from that too. Rat race was very fun. Prairie dogging and “it’s a race” have stuck with me since it came out.
The straight guy in the church sketch was Richard Briers, who was a well-known comedy actor, best known for the sit-com "The Good Life". Rowan Atkinson started off in a satirical sketch show called "Not the Nine O'Clock News" but Mr Bean is his most famous creation. My favourite Mr Bean sketch involved a Christmas nativity scene in a department store - well worth hunting for online. And if you love the IT Crowd, you need to watch some "Black Books"!
I watched all the Beans when they were freshly made. They are very funny. - you haven't seen the last of the blue three wheeler either. Rowan is a very versatile comedian, and a lot of his stage stuff is very linguistic, he developed Bean to broaden his appeal elsewhere in the world, hence it's primarily visual. The straight man in church is Richard Briers, he was on BBC TV fir decades in various sitcoms, he was a very experienced comic actor. Rowan was famous in the sitcom Blackadder - a series of 4 historic comedy's ( each season was based on an historic time period, there were 4 main ones, and a few specials) He also featured in a sketch show called Not the 9 o'clock news. Doing sketches there, gave him plenty of opportunity to try different characters. He's also done stage shows, charity gigs, there's is loads of his stuff out there. It's all brilliant. Try this very early charity stage appearance The school Master. Hints of his talents... ruclips.net/video/FiWJWLCoH2M/видео.htmlsi=Ty70DXSxr1aAr08T
😂😂😂 you have to watch at least one of Rowan Atkinson’s “Black Adder” TV show. Hilarious view of British history through his and Baldrich’s eyes, I mean 😂😂😂😂 . What a wonderful set of seasons it was
If he really wants to go out there, he should give Chris Morris's 'Jam' a try. Or start with his earlier stuff like 'The Day Today' or 'Brass Eye'. No one has come close in the last thirty years!
Great to see you enjoying our British humour. One of the more classic series with Rowan Atkinson is, "Blackadder", but you should ignore the first series, it's not good, but the 2nd, 3rd and 4th are absolute must see classics, terrific writing and humour. Also, starring John Cleese is, "Fawlty Towers", a great farcical comedy series he did after leaving Python.
Such great stuff! There’s something kinda blech about someone who doesn’t like Mr. Bean. Love so much British comedy, but my favorite is ‘Allo ‘Allo. Great sit-com that centers on a cafe owner in German occupied France during WW2 that reluctantly gets involved with the French Resistance. My second all time favorite tv show after Twin Peaks. It’s a commitment though as it’s about 8 seasons and each episode starts where the last one left off, so you really can’t watch random episodes (at least you shouldn’t). Can’t recommend it highly enough.
been watching bean since its initial caandian release in 89... lol his vocabulary is limited is because he's an alien, the intro he gets beamed down to earth and then experiences the human existence in the best scenarios
No, please, no more. I know them all by heart. hmm. Why did watching it again the umptieth time brought me to laughing tears again.... Come to think of it....Please, YES. YES MORE! :) Try to stick to the episode numbers (1-10 or even 14, I believe) to understand some changes around him better...and, as usual, the first ones got the better numbers in - as usual.
The blue three wheel van is a reoccurring target of mr bean’s road rage 😂
I remember staying at my grandmother's house on Saturday nights, I always had to go to church on the Sunday morning and I was always focusing on the ceiling or counting the tiles on the floor or just struggling to stay awake 😂 That was the life of Irish grandchildren back then
Now the Irish have destroyed their own country so yeah
Grew up on Mr. Bean. On all of the great British comedies. These are timeless. Glad you enjoyed!

Mr. Bean had a movie they came out in the USA back in 1997, which is absolutely hilarious and how I was first introduced
That was a pretty good movie, but a bit Americanized. Check out the 2007 film, Mr. Bean's Holiday, which is more "pure Bean" in my opinion. :)
I had all episodes of mr bean on video tape and someone to this day in family won't admit it was them that taped over it.
The test episode is more funnier when you find out Rowan Atkins actually has a masters in Electrical engineering, so the test would of been easy for him to solve.
Not only that he is an ace driver...his collection is super cool!
I started watching Mr Bean when I was a kid. It came on Public Television. I now own the entire series on dvd. I also have an officially licensed Mr. Bean Teddy that was made back in the 90s.
I've just bought a Mr. Bean nodding doll...

Atkinson's _Johnny_ _English_ movies are also great fun. Definitely also look at the _Blackadder_ series.

I don’t know if you’re familiar with it but I would also highly recommend Fawlty Towers.

@@Lightmane So much to see, so little time.
@@Lightmane that would certainly be a cunning plan.
@@robertpearson8798 just don't mention the War
Can't say I've seen every episode, but ive seen a decent amount of it maaaany years ago🙃
The Mr Bean movies are hilarious 😂
Loved your music reactions ans only just found this channel. So excited to check these out

I have a suggestion/request for the reaction format. Always show your reactions. Don't cut to full screen of what you're watching.

Advice: Don't OVER-React......every time you laugh you fly around the room for an hour and miss the next jokes.

That is not a teacher. This is probably a public exam to get a public job or something.
My favorite episode is Tee Off, especially the beginning where Mr Bean is doing his laundry
If you like IT Crowd you should watch Father Ted, same creators, classic Irish comedy
If he really wants to go out there, he should give Chris Morris's 'Jam' a try. Or start with his earlier stuff like 'The Day Today' or 'Brass Eye'. No one has come close in the last thirty years!
You need to see Blackadder!
¡Jaja, enorme reacción! Yo veía esto a mis 7 años, en 1996. Saludos desde Argentina, che

I dunno, I quite like the first series as well, even if the best thing about it is Brian Blessed.
@@robertpearson8798 Fair enough and Brian Blessed is always good value for money!

Also Blackadder, which is an amazing series (except season 1) - Rowan Atkinson plays the lead part: Edmund Blackadder throughout history
LOVE IT crowd too!! You might want to check Father Ted!! I have so much fun watching and listening with JP!! Have an awesome day!
