Hi Steve, I could feel his weight, he knew I was there. The highlight of last year and I was blessed with many last year. Thank you for both your time in watching and especially commenting.
Hi Matt, It was one of them sessions when I was so glad I took the camera gear and I've been extremely excited to share it with everybody. Thank you as always for your time in commenting.
Hi Ian, Thank you for your time in watching and especially in commenting. I hoping to be able to make a few more and I hope you'll continue to enjoy my work, it's wonderful to get such instant feedback.
A fantastic short touch ledgering session! Superb footage of the kingfisher landing on your rod was really special! I have only ever had that happen to me once in nearly 20 years of river fishing. A lovely barbel caught as well, great stuff!
Hi Harry, I could feel the weight of him when he landed on the rod. It was definitely the highlight of the summer and possibly my season. Many thanks for taking the time to comment it's truly appreciated
@@silentangling Thank god you had a camera rolling, that would have been a, omg omg omg where's my phone moment. You then go in to stealth mode to get your phone from your pocket and it flies off, damn it! 🤣
Loved it 👍🏻 That stretch of river looks nice, and who needs a fish when a Kingfisher lands on the rod you’re holding? Th Barbel was just the icing on the cake.
A rare treat indeed, they've been extremely busy on the river the last week or so it's as if they can sense the shortening of the days. Thank you as always or your time spent watching my work and especially for commenting.
Hi Alan, Thank you kindly for the commnet. He'd been busy up and down the bank all morning as I was pre baiting a few swims and I think my rod gave him the perfect perch or it might of been a minnow.
Hi Alan, It's a tiley hat a 40th birthday gift from my children so it's very, very well broken in now. Thank you kindly for the time spend commenting. uk.tilley.com/products/th5-hemp-hat?variant=39617995374769
Great video, I use a float stop on the line and mould newplast plasticine around it for the weight, then a size 4 or 2 wide gape hook for the meat. Strong but light rod around 10 feet with 4000 size reel with 12lbs line.
Hi Steve, I haven't tried the plasticine weight so thanks for adding the info to the channel. I'm planning a small stream rolling meat film in the autumn so I'll definitely be giving it ago. Thanks again for taking the time to comment
Great stuff...that kingfisher wow,i bet you were holding your breath.....think im going to do a silent pike one come winter lol ...do you fish for pike?
It took me by surprise and all I was think was "how much battery is in the camera, did I turn off auto focus and I want a pee". The silent fishing concept is very interesting and I'm excited to see how others explore it ,especially experience vloggers such as yourself. Im blessed with a few good pike venues in my area so I"ll definitely be out looking for a big croc this winter. Thank you as always for the time spent watching and especially commenting.
What a beautiful video. Well done
