I came across your channel, because I just bought a Bernette B79 and searched for instructions, you helped me understand my new machine so much better. Your videos are so informative. This video is really helpful for beginner quilters. Thank you so much
That is so wonderful, you are going to love your b79. I am so happy that my videos are helping you. If you have any questions just let me know. I will do my best to help you. :)
ALWAYS love your videos and detailed explanation on things along with the smallest of tips. (The background tv noise was a little distracting…for those of us w ADD ☺️) But Thank you for the videos. Please keep them coming!!
I Love to see techniques for something easy and quick! I'm new and I would like to see how you bind that quilt. Love the videos. My new machine is a Bernina 790 Plus and I'm learning a lot. Keep up the wonderful videos.
Thank you very much. Yes I am all about quick and easy because I am always anxious to get to my next project. haha I will have more videos coming. OHHH the 790 is a FANTASTIC machine. :)
Hi Cody love your videos . You have helped me so much . I just bought a 570 we and traded in my artista 180 . They told me to keep my walking foot . Will I be able to do the zig zag with my 2 sole foot . TIA Cecelia
I am happy to hear you love the videos.. You are going to love the 570!!!! So yes you can use your walking foot just like you used it on your 180 EXCEPT you can't use the seam guides because the dual feed system is in the way. The newer style walking foot is almost identical but they changed to metal bracket that holds the left and/or right seam guides. Unless you bought your walking foot within the last 8 years or so.
So simple but such a cute finish - going to use for a mini quilt waiting for completion! Thank you Cody! :)
That was my thought too. Sometime the simplest quilting styles are the most effective and all you may need at times. :)

Agreed! But I love Golden Girls! ❤️
Love the idea of a wave stitch!!
It just works so nicely and you don't have to worry about making it perfectly straight or perfectly in the seam... Very forgiving :)
Helpful tips. Another great video
Glad you enjoyed it

I did not see any pinning, but I do know you used 595 spray. What size is the quilt? Do you pin larger quilts.
What thread & weight do you use in the bobbin when using stitch 1329 with Invisafil?
invisafil on the top which is the 100wt and deco bob 80wt in the bobbin. :) Both wonderfil threads!!
