This IS their color, though, when asked in interviews who they listened to growing up or in their free time now, they reeled off a bunch of the most iconic black R&B and hiphop artists from the 90s and early 2000s. They're not faking it, they're actually steeped in the history of the genres, the same as any black American would be. It's why their delivery is authentic.
Wait THANK YOU love some of their styling (and the styling for the jurin cocona video that got leaked) reminds me of Latina and chola styling. And while those styles were influenced by hip hop, there are slight differences. I’m enjoy that styling cause I grew up around that lol
