Harvey definitely leveled up from tape #2 and Maya is perfection. Both of the girls shine though, XG seriously has the BEST rap line

Amy just spits on what beat you give her. She did her job on Tape 1 & 2 its just this beat hits hard so you are hearing her more. She sounded good in all her rap verses to me. Just saying

Harvey and Maya both very well versatile and very charmatic with their facial expressions and stage presence in the way they rap
The girls are laid back to this beat This act of taking the rhythm just a little bit slower is old school hip hop, the very vibe of a NYrapper
Frankly, making a point that everyone can easily understand and get excited about, and imitating cool raps, is something that anyone can do if they hone their skills
But to have this kind of genuine atmosphere is something that can only be done with a high level of respect for the music and a blessed sense of style
it still shocks me how maya isnt even labelled as a main or lead rapper and shes THIS good

Maya is freaking goooooooddddd. Harvey is sooooo talented, from Tape 1 (killer badass), Tape 2 (sweet rap), Tape 3 chill vibe rap. Hahahaha I went crazy too when they switched up, then did the multilingual bars insane!

It's funny bc they indeed got a lot of attention from black fans, which is good. I hope they will find their own true colors in the future so no one can accuse them of ca anymore (which will never happen lol as long as they do hiphop n rnb) In this videos, they look more like latinas in my opinion, the fit n the style.
This IS their color, though, when asked in interviews who they listened to growing up or in their free time now, they reeled off a bunch of the most iconic black R&B and hiphop artists from the 90s and early 2000s. They're not faking it, they're actually steeped in the history of the genres, the same as any black American would be. It's why their delivery is authentic.
Wait THANK YOU love some of their styling (and the styling for the jurin cocona video that got leaked) reminds me of Latina and chola styling. And while those styles were influenced by hip hop, there are slight differences. I’m enjoy that styling cause I grew up around that lol
