    You have no idea how many times I've had to stop myself from going into my closet and shredding my clothes into an art collage. All those gorgeous bohemian prints saturated in beautifully exotic colors reminiscent of Morocco and Bali. It is soooooo tempting. Grrrrrr

    This made be feel so very happy!!!! I learned so much about color. Today I rested from finding a place for the last of the unpacking. Wall space is scarce--I literally live in my Studio. Next I need to figure out where to hang my stencils! I'm so excited to finally be able to work on Percy. Thank you for all you do!!! It brings me so much joy.     What a wonderful video! Your wardrobe inspires me too! For wonderful colour combinations I love looking at Noro yarn. Such intriguing mixes. Also Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics.     Thank you for so generously sharing your experience and talent. I am mostly a painter who needs to restart my right brain..HEHE. My Drawing I class addressed collage briefly...cut some paper and glue it on a base;-). I am so happy I found you and learned that collage can indeed be a fine art in the right hands (or left, as in my case.) Your stencils are on my wish list and so are the gelli print tools!     Wonderful and so informative! Thank you so much for your generosity. I was scared for your gorgeous scarf the whole time. 😆 When working with stencils, do you ever wash them like at the end of a printing session or do they just air dry and you use them from there with the old paint on them?

      Once acrylic paint dries its permanent, so you cannot wash them at the end. You could wash them as you go, but it just slows you down. I just try to blot off the excess paint and leave it at that. Thanks for your concern for my scarf! :-) I try not to worry about such things. In the end, it was fine!!

    That Golden Teal shows up as light blue on screen. To me, teal has some green.

      It’s my favorite! Plus I’m matching the sock. If you want more green you can choose Cobalt Teal. More green is turquoise.

    Have most of your stencils. Love them. Wish you would them made in 6” size so the whole stencil could be used on cards.. Eudice

      There aren’t too many cards that accommodate a 6” stencil. Of course, maybe you are thinking of another kind of card.

    You said you don't use black. Is that personal preference or a specific reason? My sister bought me a set of the Klimt stencils and I love them!

      Black absorbs the light and reads as very flat. You achieve much richer effects with deep dark colors. Oh I’m glad you are enjoying the stencils! Thanks so much for your support!

    Well, recycled cotton is acceptable...but first hand it was "bad" cotton...
    ...being creative unfortunately uses a lot of nature-unfriendly stuff.
    During the video I was afraid, an accident could happen to the scarf...I bought one decades ago on an exibition in Frankfurt and I guard it like the apple of my eye .🙂

    You should blur your address. I’d be so fearful to have it online. For future reference, a piece of duct tape should hide it pretty well. Love your artwork! 😜💜

      no, there is no way to do so. just press off as much paint as you can when it is wet.
