interference / popping sound is becose of the wifi !! believe me !! i can easiely happen, and that's why DJI made some internal memory in the mic to record a back-up track . you know the mic uses 2.4 GHz, juste like almost aaaall of consumer-grade wireless mics in the market, it's the same wireless band of wifi, also for bluetooth devises, wireless mouses...... so you can imagine how this band can be saturated sometimes, i think this wireless mic is more swetable to use outdoor. and this is why there is some wireless mics lot more expensive, that uses "UHF" bands, it's looot more reliable, i switched to UHD since 2 years, and sinces that, i never had a problem !!

Another tip i do with mine is you can just move the camera head into position with your fingers. Its sometimes a faster option than the joystick.

Ok not sure if dumb question. If I buy this, will I be able to send audio in to it ? I see it has a receiver built in, but can I send audio in other than from the transmitter ? Here’s why. I’m a Drummer, my music/drums audio is coming from a pro digital multitrack console. I want to send THAT feed to this camera so the audio will automatically be syncd to the video . Thanks ! IE, send a wire in to the transmitter in if it has one OR run a line to an audio in on camera if it has an input
I have noticed that the background in sunlight sometimes is really bright, how can you improve the video quality? During this video always was super bright and almost you can not see anything in the background, and also when you were talking about the webcam mode the window was super bright. That's the only concern that I have. The camera looks really nice.

Hi Danny, I was thinking of buying one for live streaming recording. One question please, how many minutes can you record in 4K without there being an interruption (due to overheating or recording limits)?
I mean, can I record 1 or 2 hours in 4k (24/25P) without recording interruptions?

These are great questions PBP, I haven't came across any RUclips reviewers addressing most of these questions yet and more. There are commenters though talking about it with some useful info.
It's a pity we have to find much of this much needed info in the comment section, rather than the videos themselves but I guess it may take time as it's just been released.
Some won't say though for fear of DJI losing faith in them and the possibility of DJI losing sales...Most of this type of info that's important to some of us will be in forums and/or the likes of amazon reviews; The Good, The Bad and the Ugly!

Hi! Yesterday I recorded a concert for 80 minutes in 4K/24 continuously without any problems. Had the extended battery connected and it was depleted just the last minutes and then the main battery kicked in. Had 98 procent left after the session was over. So quite amazing I think.

Thanks for the tips! The audio popping sound in livestream is really a weird issue I hope they can come up with a firmware patch for this. It is annoying I have to use an external mic via USB-C dongle for livestream.
Can it do a nightlapse while programming the beginning & end POV?

@danny question. What pole do you recommend that is at least 4 feet in length AND has a holder for 15 pro max w case. Curious to what you think would be a good setup.
You can use any pole, just get a small phone holder sold for a bicycle handle bars. There are many to choose from and they adjustable for different sizes.
just got mine today, and wow did not expect this. This camera is unreal ! Every feature works so nicely and the video image is so stunning. I have Sony A9, A7 IV, A7S III, and soon a RED KOMODO X (in shipping now) and this Pocket 3 is crazy good. So much better than expected even while watching fantastic videos you have posted and hype bar is set high this little camera even beats that with this footage. Thanks for the great tips and videos on this product.

@@Zjudoransj Professional LOL, well no not really, my wife and own a jewelry factory and years ago we send out items for photos and videos. The cost with thousands of designs to get this done was increasing each year, so I started doing it in house. I hired two full time people and we now do all our of photos and videos on our own and we are getting into a lot more video with models for branding on social. Hoping the RED will give them a bit of cine look showing off our new designs.

@@Zjudoransj Thank you, yes a bit scared for the Komodo X, and all the added cost that goes with it. One of my staff really wants us to get the new A9 since we have a lot of sony lens already where we one have 3 IRIS cine lens coming for the X. We will see, we are shooting a ton of video with the models wearing the new items right now so once we all learn it I am sure it will make nice footage. We supply large posters of our products to retailers for in store use and that is why he wanted to check out the new A9. Have a good one.
How do you take it out of the hard case? Cause I get a gimbal protection message all the time when I tame it out of the hardcase and power it up 😢(didn’t drop it or anything ) its just really annoying
Love the camera, but it seems the exposure compensation needs to be turned down as backgrounds are often overexposed

Can you connect the DJI mic 1 with the pocket 3?
I want to be able to have the internal mics act as a scratch track while I use my wireless, like they can become/fill in as whatever would happen if I connected a second Mic 2 TX, whether that become the R track or 2 track or whatever, I’ll separate it in post. Would rather that than have to dump, find, and sync audio from the recorder. Hope they make that happen
I guess you can mirror your phone screen, then use the app on the phone to display video from the pocket 3 to TV

Thats the DJI Mic 2 that's part of the creator combo for the Pocket 3
The real creator combo should be a pack of pocket 3 , action 4 and mini 4 pro drone
All sounds good, now all they need to do is double up and sync two of them cameras after adding variable optical zoom lenses to them up to about 10x for combined stereo vision and recording and place that on one of their drones in a modular swap and change format not forgetting to produce appropriate goggles to go, and I’ll be happy with that.

Is it capable of live streaming using the Mimo app?
I'm not so happy with mine. All my footage needs to be stabilised in post to be used. I've tried my best to creep along - but even in bare feet on sand, I get the "bump" up and down from steps :( Also, the horizon is off and even after recalibration, its slopes. The Air 2S had this same horizon issue. Loving your videos - subbed!
Great Video! I hope they will make a firmwareupdate with which there is HDMI Out Support. BTW, I saw an option called OTG while you were scrolling through Pocket 3's Menu, does that mean I can connect my phone with Type C to Type C and use my phone with the P3 without wifi?
I've learned that DJI is not always the greatest with firmware updates and that they sometimes wait to a newer generation to solve the problems. Which is why I waited for the DJI Mic 2 to check if it got 32 bit float. Now I'm glad I did. Considering to buy the Pocket 3 Creator Combo
DJI is just terrible with software updates.
My Pocket 2's audio buzzes when I plug a microphone into the Do-It-All handle and I am not the only one.
Also I and many others wanted a webcam feature in the pocket 2 as a software update but we never got it@@SaintElvardielSHMD

The loose DJI Mic 2 can it only record in mono? Can you connect a stereo lavier microphone?
Yes, stereo mics will record in stereo on the DJI Mic 2, as indicated by DJI.
One tip that’s been working for me is I’ve attached the mic clip magnet to the port of the case where the black mist filter goes. The mic can’t attach to the top of the case while the magnetic clip is in place so inside of the case works to keep up with it.
You can, you just have to put the magnet totally on top of the clip.

I recall in the old days of loopy disk, that magnets close to media wasn't a good idea. I wonder if putting the magnet close to the SD card will accidentally wipe the SD card?
@@mklphoto Lol I remember those days too. With SDs, I don’t think magnets have the same impact but why chance it, right?

I just bought the Pocket 3 Creator Combo and was wondering if it's possible to connect the mic to an Android phone. I tried connecting it to my Pixel 7A, and the phone was able to see and connect to the mic, but I couldn't find a clear way to enable it when recording audio or video.. Any ideas here?

With the selfie tracking.. can you have it so you're positioned to one side of the screen, not in dead center (think rule of thirds and looking into the screen) then when you change hands it adjusts you to the other side automatically? Now that would be cool. Thanks for the tips.. much appreciated.

@@NowinLao yep. There’s the ‘dynamic tracking’ mode where you can put your face or any object of interest in one of the 9 points on the grid.

@@IzzatZubir I think what @NowinLao is asking is...can you hold it in your right hand and the camera shows you on the left hand side of the screen, then when you switch hands, it shows you on the right hand side of the screen.
I don't think so, I think you would stay where you originally placed yourself; you'd still be on the left side of the screen.
It just keeps your face where you placed it originally, I could be wrong but until I see someone show this, I'll remain sceptical.
I don't think many will understand the question being asked to be fair, it's not their fault, it's not easy to explain, at least for me, Issat.

can you livestream with a wired connetion to the Phone / pocket to avoid the wifi interference to the transmitted audio signal...? its the likely cause of the audio glitches...
If you use the on board mic and not the wireless mic, it's fine and sounds good.

You should be able to, look at 2:20 and you can see (pause video) the rotation should allow for it.

I almost want one, I have the Pocket 1 though and still ended up using my phone most of the time.
I always have my phone handy.
I'd always have to fiddle with the Pocket 1 because I forget certain things by not using it enough...plus the hassle of adding things unto it.
I barely got mine yesterday and I was up and getting great shots within an hour. The people I was filming couldn’t keep their eyes off of it. They wanted to get the shots for themselves.
Just got mine in today. Hope to god they FIX THE blown out highlight crap. Still a little peeved all the clown influencers saying this comes with a clip, the misty filter, and some even said ND filters and it did not. They should be responsible for getting those to us or holding DJI accountable.
Blown highlights are user error - the user overexposed. You can control exposure - shutter speed, ISO manually. And, yes, if you want smooth motion without an ND in bright light, shoot at 60 fps. In any can, if anyone is blowing highlights she is not exposing correctly.
Use the EV feature because it’s a constant F2.0 fixed you’ll need to use the -0.7 or -1.3 will fix it
@@markr041 actually incorrect: they shouldn’t have to be negative 1 ev out of camera. Even in darker areas. Read up woke more.
@@BarryMaskell point is you should not have to. Thats your neutral point. My 1dx mark iii, mark ii, mark i, 1d mark 2, 7D, etc etc.. all neutral even the pocket 1 does better. Color science is off to.
@@markr041 What I've noticed in videos is when the exposure is set so the sky isn't blown out, the rest of the scene becomes very dark in comparison. A blue sky also becomes Very blue...fake looking, this is not just my opinion; quite a few have noticed this too. Still, it's great little device and firmware updates could mellow things down a bit.

I bought this camera after all the hype about the good picture quality. Well, I found out it is all just hype. Just check out the picture quality of this video. If you think it is good, you indeed have low standards. All the video is very soft and overexposed most of the time. When I try to correct for that, the shadows are crushed. Maybe there is some magical combination of settings that make the picture look good, but I doubt it. I made an A/B comparison with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it blew the Pocket three away. The one area it might be better is in low light - maybe. Color me very disappointed. I really feel foolish...
Did you try D-Log M - designed to maximize the dynamic range of the camera? If not, maybe you were foolish :). Also try the HLG setting. Both require color grading in post and for the D-Log M a LUT is required. Even then you have to work hard in post to tame the highlight s (none of which are gone) to fir in REC709 limits. These camera color settings are what you use when you are serious about video quality. I agree that the video here does not look great, but I have seen and shot much better.

I really think so and many others too but hey! If you're fine with it then that's great 👍It's definitely a learning curve, it took me some playing around to get that cinematic look from the Pocket 1, when I did (using ND filters) Oh My! It's still a great camera to this day except for low light.
@@pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN I said it takes work to get it right, meaning you need to use the log gammas and LUTs or transforms in post. You need to color grade. There are lots of lousy Pocket 3 videos posted because the RUclipsrs have not taken the time to grade. I am not making a judgement, good or bad, just telling you with this camera you have to work hard in post to get it right. It would be nice if it were better right out of the camera in the sense of easier, but it is what it is. You still have not indicated whether you used D-Log M or HLG. You need to use those settings and grade in post for the best images, and when you learn how to do that you will see the images are good. This is is not evidently, with first firmware, an easy camera to get good images out of, but one can get them.
@@markr041 Yes I understand all that, as I stated, I just have the Pocket 1 and I eventually got great footage from it, very cinematic indeed. With the Pocket 3 I can only go by RUclips footage as I don't own that model. I underhand the process log files and LUT's as I make my own LUT's plus of course a bit of colour grading...I'm just a hobbyist so don't do this often, as you stated, it's work. I guess I'm referring to the camera as is; out of the box. I have other cameras but I do like the convince of the Pocket 3. If the exposer was better 'out of the box' I could be happy with automatic mode 90% of the time and manual mode the other 10% if you know what I mean. By the way, I wasn't disagreeing with you; I think you were spot on Mark!

Looks like a camera you would have to be really careful with so you didn't damage the gimbal mechanism. I also believe it is not waterproof? I think it would be a pretty hard transition for me being so heavy handed. I think the GoPro is tough enough for me. This camera maybe not so much.
You‘re absolutely right, the Osmo Pockets are less action cameras and require some care. In my opinion, they are constructed primarily (and without having much competition) for the “filming yourself” = vlogging niche.
Thanks ! Reduce the speed of the zoom is just top 👍🏻 just hope that DJI will bring an update to modify the skin ton, you (we) look grey when filming with the Pocket 3 … DJI being Chinese, they did all the tests and set up on their asiatic skin ton, which doesn’t work for us
