I think the rights to host the world cup shouldn't be a monopoly/duopoly continent's rights, but everyone should get equal chance of hosting. Happy that Qatar got it. It is modern slavery, and it was disturbing. FIFA should have guaranteed minimum working conditions and salaries for all workers at their events, and should be paying reparations to these migrant workers. I am passionate about soccer, but I must boycott this time

Why the hell do they keep giving huge sporting events like the World Cup or the Olympics to countries/cities that have to build everything from scratch in order to host it when there are tons of cities and countries all around the world that have those stadiums and infrastructure already built?
