The GT86 wasn't a resurrection, it merely was built to pay homage to the AE86 Corolla from 1985, using its formula of low power and lightweight body, although they kinda fucked it by putting a Subaru engine in it
The 86 ain't related to the ae86.

I feel the SLS AMG/SLS roadster were great resurrections of the 300SL gullwing and the 190SL

In my eyes the Challenger stands out apart from Mustang and Camaro because the Challenger's design is probably the closest to the original
Yeah, I mean Ford and GM were close, but not close enough to really make me say "OH HEY that looks like (Old 1968 Mustang/Old 1969 Camaro)" where as with the Dodge Challenger, you can see EXACTLY which old school Challenger it took a lot of its inspiration from i.e the 1970 Dodge Challenger RT, which is a legendary car in its own right.

05-09 are my favorite mustangs because they have all the looks from the orginal.
@@Soundsofthewood yes and no, take the 05-09 Mustang and stick it side by side with a 1964-1969 Ford Mustang fastback or coupe, and you tell me which one has more character, I bet you'd point to the 1960's mustang and not the flat Characterless shape of the 05-09 Mustang.
When you compare the 05 to the 65 you can tell which vehicle was full of soul and life, which vehicle truly had passion behind it and which one was just a nostalgia cash grab.

I can get the late model mustang for alot less money and better condition compared to the ones from the 60's though.

Seeing that Thunderbird with white ring tires blew my mind that is the most retro modernize thing I've ever seen. I knew the car was underrated before seeing this but now I have a new respect for it
Everyone hated or still hate it because of mainstream influence but outta all the retro-modern designs from the 2000s, the Thunderbird was #1
I've always had a fascination of that design and surprising reliability

Unfortunately, the Ford GT didn’t show up in Le Mans 2020.
What's happened to the GTE class since Le Mans 2019 is such a tragedy. That was the last race for BMW's WEC team, and their IMSA team is rumored to go into hiatus after next weekend. The Ford program ended at the end of 2019. The American Porsche team was discontinued at the end of last season. They actually did not ship their cars to Le Mans in 2020, along with Corvette Racing, but they still had to miss a round of the IMSA season because their drivers and personnel had to quarantine in France after positive tests. The latest blow to GTE Pro is Aston Martin ending their factory sports car program, which has been around in one form or another since 2005, to focus on F1.
Although the 2017 Ford GT isn’t my all time favorite car, I adore it greatly. It did what half of the cars in the world couldn’t really do, live up to a huge legacy.
Man, I'm with you on not understanding the hate on the T-bird. It's a retro-style beauty which deserved to live on (also, fun fact: both the convertible and limited edition hardtop modern versions were my absolute favorites, alongside maybe the Mustang SVT Cobra, in Ford Racing 2 and 3). I'd really love to see what it would've been like in recent years (unless Ford had decided to give that name to a crossover/SUV, like they did with Puma)

I think the 1st place should be the Giulia Quadrifoglio. Not only resurrected the model but also Alfa Romeo (and everything about it, excluding quality issues, apparently is well built).

Yeah, that major incorrectness made me cringe a bit. Also, in the segment about the Alpine they said it had a 1.3L engine, technically correct but the one that rallied was the variant with a 1.6L I4.
I like how Reanult made A110's body look identical to the old one too. Just looking at the new A110's front makes you think its the Alpine.
I'm a fan of tgt and tg, I love the three of them equaly. And I've never seen a channel that puts Clarkson in it's videos, and the "Brick shaped PAWAAAAAAAR" got me laughing a lot. Thanks for your content! You've earned a sub

the 3 Resurrected cars at the end was the 2022 Ford Bronco, 2012 Toyota 86 *(i only mentioned the 86 because it actually had a predecessor)* and the Fiat 500, and 500 Abarth of course.

The whole POWAAAAAA segment with the Challenger was great. And I will admit, while I hate the new Ford GT and its performance-first impurity, I also love the story of how it showed Ferrari what for in a Devil Went Down to Georgia type of way: "I done told you once you sunuva bitch I'm the best that's ever been!"

For the alpine a110, I work in a renault dealership, and we sell these cars (and tune them) and you can also buy it with 300 hp which is ingredible, it is a corner hunter and it ist just amazing 👌

I see nothing wrong with the 11th generation Thunderbird. It looks true to the original. The back though looks happy as fuck, like the Aztek, which was also hated, coincidence? Back to the point, the final T-bird was beautiful. It was true to the original T-Bird that started it all. Too bad its gone. 🥺

i feel like you are insulting the 99 camaro (i don't remember if it was this one or the 02 for what i'm about to say) but it had the corvette motor with the viper transmission with a lot of fiberglass parts: for example the front and rear bumper. so it made the car super light. In a drag rance it beats the mach-e on the start but then the automatic transmission helped a lot, if it was manual it'd have won. A very underrated car.

I’ve always loved the Holden Commodore. The Pontiac G8 and Chevrolet SS are some of my favorite cars Wish we got the Maloo in the US. I agree with dislikeing the old hummers, and I never really looked into the new one but that thing seems really cool.

the Scirocco 3 was an amazing glow up for the Lineup!
Sadly nobody really cares about the Scirocco...most only focus on the Golfs which are, in my opinion, uglier and worse in overall performance.
Damn... that thing is beautiful, I didn't know they made a new Scirocco. In the US, we haven't had a Scirocco since 1988.

The actual Ford GT is underated by ppl because of v6 (i think), but its ultra performance car, better than porsches, ferraris and lambos, also better track performance than few hypercars.
