I think the mclaren GT is the best thing between a sports car and a luxury coupe. You are wrong man There are straps to hold the luggage in the rear compartment
And the new Koenigsegg Gemera may be the best thing between a hypercar and a 2+2 coupe...unlike most 2+2's though, it has enormous doors and properly enormous amount of space in the interior to fit a whole family of four...and like a hypercar all it comes under the rear is insane power figures, with a 3-cylinder mated to three electric motors making 1700 hp.
X6 M was exclusively designed for Russian urban areas. It looks gangster, it goes very fast down the Moscow rings and it’s rugged enough for awful Russian potholes. It has a huge fan base in Russian. Maloo on another hand is a true Australian legend. Story goes sth like… bring wife to church on Sunday, eggs to the market on Monday and go burn some rubber and race against your mates afterwards. I think maloo is actually way more practical and charismatic car than some two seat sports car. True multipurpose vehicle.
The Avantime is way more useful than the coupe SUVs. You may think that a 3 door minivan is stupid, but the doors are huge (which is also a negative if the parking is tight) so you can use it as a full on minivan, but look cooler (also it had a V6 option)

His point was that the X6 M is doing things that other BMWs were already doing. The X5 M was already a good performance SUV with the same powertrain (just with more luggage space & headroom in the back). If someone plans to just drive on the road, but still wants back seats; the M8 coupe exists.There's also the M5 as a practical, but fast option for the road (and it's more powerful & lighter than a X6 M). If those are too big for you, then there's still the M4 Coupe and M3 sedan. Really, I can't think of any good reason to buy a X6 M over the other M cars.
The hsv maloo is for the person who can't decide whether to get a sport's car or a pickup. In the morning you can haul the fishing boat to the boat ramp, then hit the track in the afternoon. SMART👏👍😎😍

mclaren gt has heat resistant plating between the trunk and engine bay and it doesn’t ever get above a certain temp that is more than suitable for carrying anything, there’s also straps to hold luggage down

If you analyze the footage Mercedes posted, you see that the engine only revs up to around 9K rpm whilst an F1 engine revs to about 15K rpm. I wouldn't quite consider that an F1 like experience
I have never seen a C3 Pluriel with its roof down, and I've been to spain like 10 times during summer or fall. They're super common there and even in the scorching sun, they had their soft top down if even. Makes it even more obvious how impractical that roof was lol
I don't think the Maloo belongs here. It doesn't have to carry heavy construction equipment while drifting. It's badass and you know it. Want some reasons for its existence? Here: 1. It still has utility 2. Sleeper 3. Fun
sorry to say, but the Smart ForTwo isnt that dumb. it actually works as an inner city commuter. yes it only seats 2 people yes the luggage capacity is as small as Vatican City but in large citys where everyone drives big cars, that's where the Smart Fortwo comes to play because it effectively frees up spaces and reduce CO2 emissions
Maloo doesn’t belong on this list and every self respecting Aussie knows it. Being a Yank it’s probably way too over your head for you to understand. By the way they’re Utes not trucks and like my old SS Commodore Ute there are those of us who actually do use them for work as well as for play.
Mercedes did make that AMG One with the F1 engine, and it now only takes 30 minutes of warming up, and it has a supposed every 50,000km. Which is actually quite good. And it absolutely destroyed so many lap records

Another suggestion Peugeot 1007. It's a tiny car with van doors. The doors are so heavy and the engine is so small. It's slow. The car has the worst automatic transmission ever sold.
If you live in the USA i understand the hate on the X6, but in the EU there are soooo many roadbumps… with the x6 you can drive pretty fast and not worry to destroy your front.
x6, m or non m, every second in the car you feel the body being pushed around by its own weight and question if this is what the ultimate driving machine has to offer.
and for some reason it is still very popular, at least here in Europe. I'd say it's to show off that you can afford an almost 50K+ $ useless BMW. Like literally you can get a base X5 and M5 for that price, so you have a big car and a sporty one.
The HSV Maloo is literally the modern Australian equivalent of the Chevrolet El Camino SS. Sadly we can’t get it in the states because our outdated federal requirements for imported automobiles are dog shit.

The McLaren GT was actually a smart decision just poorly constructed. Ferrari has a grand tourer, so does porsche, so does Bentley. McLaren wanted in…. Also according to your other followers, the Maloo, take it off bro. It’s basically another Chevy SSR replicate, and we all see those as collectors vehicles now… at the time many thought they weren’t worth the purchase.
I had a supercharged Jaguar F-Pace SUV and I loved it. You could go long distances, haul the family and all their gear, and when you were on your own, have a lot of fun using the performance.
I disagree with your assessment of the Holden Maloo. Not everyone works 24/7. This car is meant to be able to work during the day - but have fun after work. It is a joy to drive - and terrifying when you let it rip around a track. Think of the state Henry Ford was in when Carroll Shelby took him for a spin in the GT40 from "Ford v Ferrari" and you get the idea!
Might not be a HSV, but i own a 2007 SSV Ute, the non-HSV version of it. But yeah, not for everyone. Then again, those over-sized pickups the yanks have, are utterly pointless as well, so why'd you need them at all? Just using that same logic. And to go with their opinion, their initials of BS sum up what they think. A triggered hater of it, do wonder what this person thinks is a better machine than one of them, as they clearly don't get the whole concept of them from the sounds of it. But yeah, the ute is a big thing here, and so an even quicker version was made back in the day, along with ford doing the same with the falcon too at the time

The holden is a performance car in Australia. Most people just use it for peformance not work.
The holden maloo ute is basically an American Pontiac G8 with a bed like a truck so naturally I want one
On top of that the Pontiac G8 is actually a Holden rebadged and given that Pontiac grill and then floated to the states.

The HSV Maloo is literally the modern Australian equivalent of the Chevrolet El Camino SS. Sadly we can’t get it in the states because our outdated federal requirements for imported automobiles are dog shit.

HSV Maloo is a category of its own and will push other companies to produce similar cars in future, which are called Utes, thanks to Forza Horizon 3 or what I may call them RUPUs or RUPs (Racing Utility Pickups)
Mercedes AMG 1, its not impossible to put F1 engine to street legal car, technically it can be an F1 engine as core but a lot of tweaks to be done like cooling, separate built-in warming up system moreover that crank starter. the Mercedes team are working on it and they never claimed to achieve it so far
Don’t forget that the Maloo competed against the FPV utes including the Super Pursuit and F6 Ute!

@@SinkProgram yes i know the Aventador J it but i think you have to drive that car with helmet especially in high speeds, there is no spoiler on the hood, thats what Mclaren is trying to do is to drive a car fast with no helmet nor windshield, its first in that aspect.

I had a supercharged Jaguar F-Pace SUV and I loved it. You could go long distances, haul the family and all their gear, and when you were on your own, have a lot of fun using the performance.

I disagree with your assessment of the Holden Maloo. Not everyone works 24/7. This car is meant to be able to work during the day - but have fun after work. It is a joy to drive - and terrifying when you let it rip around a track. Think of the state Henry Ford was in when Carroll Shelby took him for a spin in the GT40 from "Ford v Ferrari" and you get the idea!

Might not be a HSV, but i own a 2007 SSV Ute, the non-HSV version of it. But yeah, not for everyone. Then again, those over-sized pickups the yanks have, are utterly pointless as well, so why'd you need them at all? Just using that same logic. And to go with their opinion, their initials of BS sum up what they think. A triggered hater of it, do wonder what this person thinks is a better machine than one of them, as they clearly don't get the whole concept of them from the sounds of it. But yeah, the ute is a big thing here, and so an even quicker version was made back in the day, along with ford doing the same with the falcon too at the time
