I own 2 lefty 1983 squier 62 black . Both have nitro alder body's. Very close to any vintage strat now, it's like finding gold if you can get them, the prices have doubled since I bought them 4 years ago.

      Sup Keith!
      That’s really nice to hear!
Sorry to ask, but was the body refinished or a special factory run?

I have an '83 tobacco sunburst maple neck. Bought it used in 1985. I have a Fender shop tweed case with plush orange inside with Cheney England hardware. Leather handle. Don't really feel like I need a different guitar than this. One other thing is that the original strats had an ivory nut. So do these guitars. Ivory has been banned for guitar nuts or anything else for a while now. Usually just plastic. Some were carbon.

Cool video! I also have a JV Squier strat. It could do with a refret now, so was wondering what fret wire you used? I was thinking of tall vintage, but would appreciate your thoughts.

Not at the moment but who knows the future?
I think this one is a keeper, considering the fact they are a bit hard to find, specially the ones with that vintage tone.
