Thank you for the video, it helped clear up some doubt that I had. I was not sure I was fully understanding it correctly or not. I agree that we need the Judicial Review to protect our rights and freedoms and also that someone has to have the final say on arguments or challenges that arise or we will never get anything accomplished. When it comes to the Establishment Clause, I think the government should not take on a form of religion but should acknowledge God, without any issues. We live in a world were people want to be offended by everything and I feel they use the judicial system to do this. People get offended by the word God and what about the people who get offended when you remove the word God from our history? I think the government needs to stay with government issues and not get involved with religious processes or views. I just read a story about how one of the news stations conducted an interview with the wife of a fallen soldier who died serving our country and when asked the question, what will you tell your children about your father, she responded using the word, Christ. Later when the story was broadcasted the news station edit christ out saying that it could offend people, so where is freedom of speech when people change or edit what you state? Loved the video.
@@hollybrown2867 Holly, Thank you for your comment. I think you've captured a great point as it relates to our freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
Thank you for breaking this down. You’re correct, it’s pretty confusing to make rhyme or reason out of some of it due to its ever changing. I was mind blown over the Church vs whether or not they are responsible for their minsters etc. I’d never even thought about it from that angle.
Thanks for joining our discussion of Constitutional Law. What are your thoughts on Judicial Review and The Establishment Clause? - Prof. Krupp
