I wonder if there's someone on YT that could do great Araya impression. I'd love to hear full version of SBT with vocals, as I can kinda hear them in my head.
What if Metallica, Megadeth, Cannibal Corpse, As i lay dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Asking Alexandria, Black veil brides, Judas priest, children of bodom, wrote these riffs?
TestAmenT- Into the pit, Lamb of god ( oo, this song is awesome) - Laid to rest. Pete Cottrell- Laid to rest like Slayer, ends up a testament of his skill, music knowledge and creativity. and in the words of Ian Malcolm, well, there it is. also the pulp fiction riff could have been made into a song like Seasons in the abyss or dead skin mask.
I would love to hear full versions of Sad But True and Laid to Rest, they sounded really great and quite interesting. Instrumental would be fine, but I bet you could find one of two vocalists to really fill out the songs. Keep making awesome music.
Which riffs should I do next?
Check out the Mooer GTRS M800 Guitar here: bit.ly/3UEEK5u
The kids aren't alright by the Offspring !!!
Fear Factory - Replica in different styles
It's pretty cool that you briefly explained some of your process when approaching some of these really insightful.
Thanks! Yeah, I wanted to talk a bit more with everyone watching :)
Somewhere, Kerry King is always angry.
How does Tom answer the door?
Hes a douche bag
YOOOOO that Misirlou in the style of Slayer was super dope. ❤
Also, that MOOER guitar is amazing!
I really want hear Misirlou in full.
Laid to Rest sounded more like Into the Pit that the original riff does 😂
Could hear Tom in my head doing the aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh during break stuff :D
"Break Stuff" Slayer version is banger!!! (Laid To Rest too)
Break Stuff version probably a song that could be on any Slayer album. Sounds amazing. Please do a full version with a vocalist
5:59 about triplet songs
There's also "Crionics" and "Metal Storm/Face the Slayer" from Show No Mercy and "Crypts Of Eternity" from Hell Awaits
you're awesome dude. love your content
Oh HELL yeah!!!!! You're still amazing! \m/
That was awesome, thanks dude!!
Thanks! :)
Awesome work!
Thanks! :)
Awesome video 🤘🏻🤘🏻 loved the Meshuggah and lamb versions
Awesome riffs Pete!! Great tones on them 🤘🤘
Absolutely brilliant!
Great video as always! Great riffs and sounds!
I enjoyed this video very much. It's also very inspiring to me to create new riffs. 😊🤘
So lamb of god + slayer = testament. Interesting
Yeah😂
Into The Pit vibes for sure !
Great work and creativity!
I liked hearing about how you approached each one!
That guitar is beautiful and I love these riffs
Type 0 Negative would be interesting
Nice video btw👍
Instructions unclear, ended up writing A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton AGAIN
Bangers as per usual 🤟
I never skip your videos that have Slayer in them in some form
The only slayer riff in which the guitar is more than 50% audible
I honestly couldn’t heard the Bleed one without singing the rest of the Raining Blood riff, that’s great
I wonder if there's someone on YT that could do great Araya impression.
I'd love to hear full version of SBT with vocals, as I can kinda hear them in my head.
Bleed вышел офигенно!
You're right I can totally hear Tom Araya's vocals on that version of Break Stuff. 😁
You should try this but all in the style of Rob Zombie...please?
Most fun!
Most fun indeed! :)
we need full version of laid to rest in the style of slayer!
The Misirlou does feel as a mix between 80's Slayer and ...and justice
This version of Laid to Rest sounds remarkebly close to Into The Pit by Testament!
Nice man!
Man, I missed that poll!! If you do another try 21st Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson!!
The Sad But True one is fucking sick
2:05 - нисходящий рифф надо было в стиле брейкдауна в Raining Blood)
Killer riffs
“death!”
-Tom Araya
OH THAT'S SO COOL
Slayer is the band that makes E flat tuning sound so fuckin heavy.
Sad but True sounds a lot more Call of Ktulu!
Miserlou was actually so good 🤣
Fuckin Slayer!
Slayer.... Yes but never compare...be original... great sound bro
Can you get one with a floyd rose?
I don’t think so, maybe in future though :)

Bleed = World painted in blood
🤩🤩🤩🤩TOOOOP
You made Bleed less convoluted XD
WOOOORLD PAINTED BLOOD!
Seriously though
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
LOG still sounded LOG. But more Black Label. Its amazing how solid their sound is.
This is probably a stupid idea, but you should do "what if these bands wrote the chicken dance"
So, everything sounds better Slayer style!
Metalsirlou 🤘🏻
Laid to Rest has more of a Testament vibe
Lamb of god is already in the style of Slayer 😂😂
I would love to hear full versions of Sad But True and Laid to Rest, they sounded really great and quite interesting. Instrumental would be fine, but I bet you could find one of two vocalists to really fill out the songs. Keep making awesome music.
Testament vibes
Wow!
Do some of this videos in Alice in Chains style =)
You forgot the random drum fills
What if Iron Maiden wrote these riffs?
For me, Bleed was the best one of the bunch. I could really hear KK and JH on that one with Tom screaming over top.
So sad but true done the slayers just Metallica during a load and reload😂
Slayer + Meshuggah = Metallica? 🤔
Fukin S L A Y E R....riffs are ok, but the drums are too Bostaph oriented I want Lombardo....
Not to be Debbie downer but slayer's tone never sounded this thick and saturated. It was thin and nasally.
