  • We’re always so humbled by the support we get from our incredible cadre of volunteers. With only a staff of two at CI we constantly rely on our volunteers, their skills, and their knowledge to get things done around the site and to present the best programming we can to our visitors.
For this video we spotlighted one of our volunteers, Evan! Much of Evan’s involvement at CI has been behind the scenes where he sits on our development committee. Recently, he was bitten by the bug to start doing living history.
Being brand new to living history can be overwhelming from developing an impression, doing research, and acquiring accurate clothing. It’s our aim at CI to help our volunteers, especially those who are brand new to living history, with the information necessary to get started.
On Saturday, February 5th at 6pm we will be holding our Living History Overview via Zoom. This overview will be a great orientation to what we do at CI and we encourage anyone who is interested in learning more to visit us at cimlg.org/volu...
Until then you can continue to visit us at CI every Saturday from 10am-5pm to see our volunteers and staff in action! We’ll see you at CI.
