Another Tragic waste of life 😭😭😡 RIP to all lost Thank you life guards and everybody involved in the search/s for risking your own lives to save others ❤
My prayers go out to the family and I can’t express my gratitude to all life guards and future life guards it’s such a dangerous situation to be in the ocean and to help save someone who is drowning , my you all stay safe and thank you for all you do every single day
It,truuuuly,upsets me,when ,persons,who are Not,fully equipped, get themselves,out,in DEEP,Treacherous waters,& expect,these young men,to come ,Risk their Own safety,to rescue these poorly equipped swimmers 😢
Really?? So we're not meant to go in the water because sometimes people drown? Why be fearful of something that may never happen? Life's too short, I'll never allow unrational nor rational fear control me. I live on the coast & have swum my whole life, I'm 64.5 & I won't stop just in case something happens
Because not all oceans are created equal. Some people grow up in places with barely any currents, then they go to Australia and realise its not the same as the Mediterranean sea.
Don't understand why people who don't know how to surf go in the waves!!!!!!!!!!! If they don't care about there lives, it's fine, but they put other people at risk when they try to rescue them!
As teens we went to Piha once. Never again. Very dangerous beach. Have a walk along the shoreline by all means. Lay in the water to cool down by the shoreline. But don't go further 😢😢😢 just too dangerous imo. Kariotahi is a bit better but seriously just let your kids paddle ankle deep and stay with them. Don't go any further 😢
Amazing how they all know the danger ,sharks etc. yet they still go in thinking that we will all run to get them out if they spot a shark. 😂😂😂 I don’t think so !
There’s no way in Hell you’d get me in the water at the bottom of Tasmania Lions Rock area. The currents, rips and choppiness are a death trap! You can get pulled out to sea easily. So sad and tragic.
What annoys me with these programmes is you clearly need all space in the boat and a space is used by a camera man, that's sick to me when you have so many drowning around you, especially when its said theres only room for one more...
My military background kicked in when i watched a woman commite suicide on the train tracks during xmas week. Watching someone explode into bits at 0730 was not pleasant.. I am kinda happy i knew an earky wholesajer who have me to opportunity to compartmentalise as well aas mourn till my next shift at the hospital begun. It is always hard to vies a deceased peron, till you see a few. A shi**y process yet actually quite important
There must be 4 flags, giving you an idea where you can swim. If you have 2 flags, and you are in the water, your area is ,even if you are looking at the flags on the shore, that you are stil in the safe zone. If you put up 4 flags, behind one another, you wil have a better idea where you are in the water.
The biggest tragedy is the fact that these so-called lifeguards didn't do their job and close the beach at the first sign of a rip current. They get an f. It was mostly an avoidable drowning.
The biggest tragedy is that those people shouldn't go into the water if they can't swim! They also should have worn life jackets!! The lifeguards can't save everyone!
Which of these tragedies is most shocking to you?
Just came off a bad call for SARs. So I'm Bondi binging. The heaviest bodies are always the smallest.

It is always tragic when a life cannot be saved. We are so lucky to have incredible lifeguards out there doing their very best to keep us all safe.
@@RealLifeRescue Very Tragic and to easy for things to go terribly wrong. 😥😥
Thanks for your bravery ❤
Sauce compassion and care from the lifeguards in very hard situations. Amazing team even on the water's worst day.

They always have rip currents, it just depends where…
Some people know very well how to swim in these waters! There is actually such a sport calles "body surfing"! You just have to know your limits!
