Time for Sleeping Dogs to get an updated series! This is one of my favouriite crime games and really want to try and do the game justice with a "definitive" walkthrough - With crisp 4K 60fps quality and hopefully much better gameplay than my old walkthrough I did 8 years ago. Let's never forget this masterpiece.
I still love the beginning that HKPD never know that Wei Shen is in undercover. Its like DRIV3R, no one on grounds know that John Tanner is undercover cop.

Just finished this one not long ago... almost got the platinum but yeah... this game still takes me back to the days of Hong Kong. And no matter what we say, we deserve a sequel with an expanded HK included Kowloon.
I played it on PS5 back in December 16th 2022! It was amazing game! The Disc was a second hand and/or used game but good condition! :D And i finally got Platinum for it! Really easy Platinum! :)
@@morkgin2459 there was a sequel planned called Sleeping Dogs triad wars wich was a multiplayer but It was canceled because square Enix wasn't Happy enough with the sales performance of Sleeping dogs

I love Sleeping Dogs and it's been 9 years since this game was released. Also, I figured out that the actor was Will Yun Lee, the same actor who played Harada from the 2013 X-Men Fox movie, The Wolverine. Happy 9th Anniversary, Wei Shen!!!😎🔥💪
I really feel sad for people who had never given this game a love when it was released. This game was so good. It has clubs, apartments, races, activities like stealing trucks and even a girlfriend where you can take a date. That was the time when people never even gave this game a love and supported boring and trash games like GTA Online. Now everyone hates the game cause this game has destroyed Rockstar Games reputation and made them greedy. There's a game called '171'. It's a Brazilian open world game and now i need people to show the love for the game and support the developers other than those greedy Take Two Interactive.
I was always stubborn to try the DE, but now I can see some nice improvements such as nicely animated neons, more atmospheric effects, better clothing textures and blood textures, improved physics etc.
Let sleeping dogs lie. I'm kinda skeptic about this game. I play GTA all time, but this game plays way different for the GTA-styled open world game. Cars handle a bit weird and the gunplay is a generic copy-paste that always doesn't follow GTA IV's way of capturing shootouts
This game doesn't try to be GTA, that's the point. It has a very detailed, atmospheric Hong Kong to explore which makes this game unique on it's own. It focuses more on martial arts melee combat which is a different take than GTA. The shooting is a "secondary" feature and focuses on the "slow motion" feature referencing Hong Kong cinema. As for driving it's very arcade-like but still better than other non-Rockstar open-world games. Sleeping Dogs focuses on many different things to GTA.
After many years I like to update my old walkthroughs in far better quality, especially for great games like this. Plus this is only the 2nd time I'm uploading this in 10 years. :P

I honestly regret not showing more support with Triad Wars. I'd happily play that now and may have become a competitor to GTA Online...
