Arizona has a similar formation and the same pa play with the routes on the left . I put my running back on a out route to the left they work really good this year it will force user underneath coverage or man which leave the middle of the field open.
The three man rush gets insane blockshed and if all four linebackers are blitzed there will be no time to throw. One of my biggest problems are the passing control a. It's hard to get passes over defenders.
Troy Wheeler if they blitz don't even fake the ball to the RB just put him to block slide the line down or to the right and you should be good and also but the coach adjustsment to aggressive they work 40% of the time Depends on there stats
Bro, for me to the offensive line blocking is still not what I call NFL level blocking. For one you don't see the massive block shed that you see in the madden game. For me, there is too much defensive cheating programmed in the madden game. I have blocked the rb many times only to have the tackle's straight up fail!
pmd8212 kinda but coverages in the NFL are a lot more in depth and have more responsibilities that just can't be programmed into the game. But things like basic Tampa 2, and cover 3 do get attacked in similar fashions
Sometimes.. Some zones do..some don't. It also depends on what formation you are playing against. None of the zone concepts that teams use to defend compressed sets are in the game..which is why they are such a headache to defend, in Madden. Not all of the zone rules in madden, align with real life zone rules..instead, they translate to how the game is programmed. Most of what Madden Pros come up with, wouldn't work in real life. They'd be throwing deep routes, right into the strength of how c-3 or c-4 is supposed to play. Plus they wouldn't have the time for all of their deep routes to develop vs a good 4 man passrush, in the real.
Can't beat cover 3 deep, route combos that worked previous maddens don't really work anymore imo. Can you post a video on how to beat Cover 3 deep please
Tay McCullough I'll give you a setup that you can use in most formations. You need: a deep post with a streak on the same side as it, on the opposite side of the field you need a smart routed out route that goes at least 10 yards. You should be able to get the post 1 play td if you get time. Some plays work better than others for that.
Smart players know how to disguise cover 4. This year cover 4s so dynamic because of how you can literally adjust it into cover 2 while the previous play still shows cover 4. Totally confuses opponents
Hey 4wardprogress, I've been labbing this play on all pro vs the Seahawks specifically earl Thomas's side to really test the validity of the play but I can't seem to consistently make it work even with Big Ben who has 95 thp... what am I doing wrong or does this only work against mediocre safeties? I just don't want to do this mid game and get picked. Thanks in advance!!!
Pin and mills are both designed cover 4 beaters IRL. I'm not sure how good mills is this year, but if the S actually attempts to play an underneath route it's an improvement. Safeties should be able to cover the deeper option if shaded over top (forces read to different player), no idea if that works in Madden though. Shouldn't this also beat cover 2? You're putting 3 verticals at different depths on one side of the field, doubt AI handles that well. I suppose rushing 4 gives you less time but if you get the pocket should be wide open. Cover 3 is the coverage that SHOULD beat this, since deep 1/3 S knows he has help underneath on crossers. But counter-calls don't work in Madden because it's trash.
Great tip Zan I'm seeing a lot of 3-4 stuff this year and hardly any 4-3 material, would be curious to see a cover 4 pat narduzzi like concept, zan can you please check your email? I sent you a cover 7 concept I been using recently and have had success with it, your feedback and thoughts would be much appreciated
This was in Chip Kellys SF book last year, and it's in his book (Spread) this year. Love how you can read the defense and either use PA Read or Bench Switch and make your adjustments. Good ish Zan.
Good stuff, I found my own play out of a different formation thanks to this concept breakdown, post still toasts Cover 4 in it

topcat625 from snugs?
No Shaqs All Kobes out
No I'll post it when the power comes back on
i mean u can just tell me the formation I dont really need anything else...
Good play Zan. The more we have to counter Cover 4 the better off the game is imo.

Troy Wheeler if they're blitzing the lbs then they are in cover 4....

Would you say real life football concepts work in madden? As far as how the pros attack coverages in the NFL related to madden?

Banjo concept works in man against compressed sets in madden
Can you run this anywhere on the field or is this hash dependent?

Bubble Bass or he can use the steelers playbook they have the same concept in there
What playbook is this?
you are a tru dumb ass
Anybody know a similar alternative to a play like this in the Titans playbook? I'm interested in finding one

They can always man people up and adjust. This play barely beats cover 4 and the d isn't even adjusting
Jus learned a way similar outta NO pb

Zan, whey is there so much defensive cheating in the madden game?

Do you have a counter to folks trying to beat cover 4 with this offensive concept?
Why my wr goes to the offensive lineman and my lineman goes to wr? When I call audible, 4 games in a row?
