I met a girl in 2011, 6th grade in my computer class. She was quirky like me. We became best friends. We did absolutely everything together. I thought of her as family. We spent holidays together, vacations... She was my soul sister. In 2018 I was diagnosed with a neurologic disease that proceeded to almost kill me several times. I ended up tube fed and bedbound. All the sudden she was 'too busy' to talk to me or to see me, weeks would go by and I would wait for a text from her with no response. She promised it had nothing to do with me. 2 weeks ago she sent me a short text that she honestly found my body and my illness to be too awkward and it made her super uncomfortable to talk to me or look at me. She told me she never wanted to see me again. Suddenly I have no respect for Pink Diamond. Her best friend waited 6000 years for her only to find out she'd been abandoned and she didn't even really care about her.
