Dad's are the best. I wish every child had a Daddy as kind and hard working as you. That said, I'm SO thankful and grateful for MY Dad. God as my witness, I sure do love that man!

This was the song my father and I danced to at my wedding. It is the idea of an uncompromising, unlimited, and unconditional love, despite post of our flaws. Neither one of us is perfect, but he was everything I needed and I was everything he wanted.

Thank you so much for this!! I left a comment on your "You Can Let Go Now, Daddy" reaction video explaining just how extremely personal this song is to me. I hope you read it. I can tell from your reaction to this song that your father was a great, loving dad, and you are as well. Your child(ren) are very blessed to have a father like you. I mean that sincerely. 💕

This was my song for my daddy. He became my stepfather when I was 7-1/2 years old. I was his caregiver the last five months of his life. We played. This song is funeral and I get teary-eyed every time I listen to it.
Jewel, Thanks for requesting my friend!

This song was also played at my daddy's funeral. Only we didn't just play the song. I finally finished recording it myself a little less than 2 months before he died. It took me months to do it. I was only 14, and I couldn't make it through the song without falling all the way to pieces. I also recorded "Room With a View" by Carolyn Dawn Johnson, which we also played at his funeral. After he died, I was too numb to cry. I didn't cry until I heard my own voice come through those speakers during his actual funeral service 4 days later. He was and still is my BEST best friend, and I still talk to him all the time. It'll be 19 years this September, and I still miss him just as much as the night he left us.
My heart goes out to you. There is no pain like losing a parent, and no one can possibly understand until they live it, no matter how much they believe they do or how hard they try. I don't know if you believe in heaven, but I do. In that belief, you can have faith and know that our beloved fathers are no longer suffering, and we WILL be reunited with them someday. ❤️

My Dad was a mechanic for huge machines at a factory. He'd come home covered in grease and it became embedded in his hands. He worked with his hands my whole life. This always makes me think of how he worked 2 or 3 jobs at times to take care of his family. Miss him every day.

My father was a DIY-er before it was a thing. He battled Parkinson's for over 10 years even though it eventually left him being unable to even stand without help. After he passed, this was one of the songs chosen for his funeral. It was playing when my mother, sister, brother-in-law and I entered the viewing room and I just lost it. I can never listen to it without being reminded of him. RIP Dad, I know you're in a better place now and you're not hurting anymore.

This is the song I use to sing to my dad on karaoke all the time. And for years after he passed I couldn't listen to it without crying. My dad would be 83 this year. May he R.I.P. I miss my dad all the time. And I listen to this now to relive the memories of him and I singing karaoke together and spending time together cause I'm a daddy's girl and always will be even though he's passed away. Great reaction. Btw. Are you going to do my other 2 songs She don't know she's beautiful by Sammy Kershaw ( my birthday song picked by my Husband Charles Twigg Jr.) and I don't think you're pretty by Richie Fields ( mine and my husbands valentines day song)

Can you maybe get to Holly Dunn's "No One Takes The Train Anymore"? There is a video for this one on RUclips. There are so many of Holly's songs I'd sure like to see you react too. "Strangers Again", "On the Wings of an Angel", "Lonesome Highway", "Just Across, The Rio Grande", "Sometime Today", "It's Allways Gonna Be Someday", Temporary Loss Of Memory, "I Laughed Until I Cried". The catchy "Let Go". The list goes on and on. "The Stronger The Tie" is just an incredibly beautiful song that will leave you mesmerized. "When No Place Is Home" is very beautiful, but it is so sad, almost too painful to listen too. It evokes a strong message.

Wonderful song and reaction, Harri. Also good to notice you are reacting to a bit more of country music.
Sadly, Holly died at the age of 59 in 2016 from ovarian cancer.

Thanks so much for this. Please review some more Holly Dunn songs. Also how about some Lari White and Kelly Willis? 3 vastly underrated artists who's work deserves to be discovered by the younger generation. Thank you again.

My father was a good hearted man who couldn't turn down a good time,to the point where my mother had to divorce him. This song is not for him,but I have spent my whole life, and a whole lot of energy, trying to be someone worthy of a song like this. Only time will tell...

Hello again. OK this was over a year ago. Can we please react to something else? Holly had 4 Number 1's "Love Someone Like Me", "Only When I Love", "Are You Ever Gonna Love Me?, and "You Really Had Me Going". She should have had many more, but was basically Blacklisted from Country Radio before the end of 1991. Interestingly, none of her Number 1's would be my first choices for you to feature here. I'd prefer some Top 10's like "Why Wyoming", "Strangers Again", "It's Always Gonna Be Someday", "What You Love Does Too Me" There Goes My Heart Again" or her Duet's "Maybe" with Kenny Rogers, and "A Face In The Crowd" with Michael Martin Murphy which was huge Top 5 song in 1987. Or how about some lesser known stuff like "No One Takes The Train Anymore" that should have been a Number 1 hit? Some of my personal favorite songs of Holly's are "Lonesome Highway", "On The Wings of An Angel", "Just Across The Rio Grande", "There's No Heart So Strong", "Sometime Today", "The Stronger The Tie", "Old Love In New Mexico", "Temporary Loss Of Memory", "When No Place is Home", "Let Go", I Laughed Until I Cried". Oh man, there are so many. I could go on and on. She was nominated for 3 Grammy's, won CMA and ACM awards. Also the BMI song writer of the year. An extremely underrated talent.
