The Triangles Near Deming, New Mexico - An Intersection of Two Universes

- Just southeast of Deming, NM and Interstate 10, in a remote part of the desert, is a monument called the Triangles. Unlike most monuments you run across traveling the country, this doesn't honor a historical event or person, but instead an event that is said to have happened in a parallel universe, Kcymaerxthaere.
In this video we travel out into the New Mexico desert in order to visit and explore the Triangles, taking a tour of the entire monument and "crater". Along the way we talk about the truth behind the site, run into a "UFO" (briefly, until it becomes an identified flying object), and take in the beauty of New Mexico.

I used to live in Columbus, just south of your location. That is a Homeland Security Aerostat tethered at 15000 feet.
Those mountains are the Three Sisters.
The aerostat is used to track aircraft approaching the border and possibly entering unlawfully.
Columbus was home to the Columbus Air Force headed up by Martin Houltin who was a prolific smuggler and was the FIRST pilot ever arrested by the DEA for smuggling drugs by air.
Houltin and a few confederates formed a group that was called the Columbus Air Force.
His son Brian was manager of Pancho Villa State Park in Columbus.
As I said I lived there for many years and knew a lot of people and the history.
Pancho Villa's troops entered Columbus in March 1916 and killed 17 people and destroyed much of the town.
Lots of History down there. And if you are looking for a good meal, step across the border to Palomas and eat at La Tienda Rosa and the Pancho Villa Resaurant.
I actually went to Columbus the next day after visiting this place (as you'll see in next week's video). I didn't have time to go across the border though.
It should be also noted that Villa's troops lost 67 killed in the raid.
The first United States military use of an aircraft against another country also occurred during the Battle of Columbus in 1916. Or, more accurately, during the punitive expedition into Mexico following the battle.
The range nearest you are the Florida mountains (pronounced Flo-REE-duh). The 3 peaks in the distance are la Tres Hermanas. La Tienda Rosa is a tourist trap now, but still neat with good food and excellent shopping. The second (to the planes) nearest bunch of people to this area are eating at an amazing steakhouse/bar called the Adobe Deli. The cow that made those tracks has left this dimension. West of Deming, on the Continental Divide, is a ley line intersection where Nikola Tesla has visited and planned to incorporate into his free energy grid. It is rumored to have a foot made of metal sticking out a tree stump to represent a portal to another dimension. I never found it, never looked too hard, either.
I grew up in Deming and never heard about this. Neat to see the Tres Hermanas, 3 sisters, mountains in the background.
I lived in Deming many years ago, and I never heard of this place either?? Very interesting, though. Did a lot of rockhounding in the desert back then! Lots of desert to explore.
I think I’m more intrigued by Tres Hermanas, In Abq we have the 3 sisters on the westside of ABQ but they are old volcanoes. Guess the weird portal to another world is just Albuquerque.

Steve, love your videos. I found your channel a few months ago and have been hooked since. I grew up and lived in the Palm Springs, CA area for nearly 50 years before moving away. I have learned about things in the western United States and where I used to live, I never knew existed until watching your videos. I love how you explain the history of some obscure ruins or road, and bring it back to life in your videos. I’m a history buff and very thankful there are people like you exploring these unknown historical sites, no matter how insignificant they may seem to be. All history has significance, so thank you for taking us along with you on your sidetrack adventures. Keep the videos coming….. looking forward to the next one and the one after that, etc.

What a splendid way to start off 2024 with some Gnarly Paranormal Possibilities! A few times I could hear you smile as you were explaining a few of the differences of the dueling Universes! 😄 You absolutely nailed it for me @ 4:01 with the Tree or as you also implied possibly the roots of another tree in the other universe!😉 This whole area reminded me of places where me and my buddies really wanted to go back in my Cheech & Chong days of doing Wild Peyote and a wee bit of The Magical Mushrooms. I'm actually grateful I survived "Those Trips" 🤣 I still appreciate places like this Steve and the stories and history attached. Fascinating. I have an aunt & uncle who lived in Las Cruces for decades (in Albuquerque now), whom I loved visiting; they enjoyed taking me to all sorts of interesting nearby attractions, mostly native American sites. I'll have to ask if they've heard of this. Thanks again for sharing this needle in a haystack!
I lived in that area for 11 years. It is certainly desolate. I think you drove right by the house where I used to live. Can you blame me for moving because I didn't want to live there by myself after my husband died? There's so much BLM land out there that we ATV'ed all over that area of the world, but we never found that place or knew anything about it. We mostly rode in the mountain that you see in the pictures. There's lot of interest stuff out there and a lot of people live there to hunt aliens. I wonder if they are from the alternate universe? Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Despite it's remoteness, I miss living there.
The area is amazing. It was so quiet out there. Would have loved to get closer to the mountains. Drove past them on the other side on the way to Columbus the next day.

The area you're in, or near, is called "Sunshine Valley Ranchettes". My grandmother bought land there in 1971.
I inherited two acres there. Want to have paperwork in order before I go for a camper trip

This reminds me of the Maltese Cross purported concrete
Corona satellite calibration targets of the 1960s near Casa Grande, AZ. That’s where someone probably got the idea for this set up. One of the many targets still extant in the immediate area: 32.748031,-111.739763. You might want to check this out. Calibrate your drone.
Oh my gosh. I'm going to New Mexico and Arizona for a month in February and March.

In 2019 I decided to take my wife of (then) 51 years to see the place I lived from 1948 to 1952, Lingo, on the eastern side of NM. The dot is still on the map. Even when we moved there the former school building was overgrown with the windows broken out. About 2 miles South and West of this dip in the road, our house was a stuccoed adobe brick 4 room thing with a spherical propane tank for heat, a windmill pumping into an overhead tank, a nice barn and a decommisioned boxcar for feed storage. A wind generator and batteries supplied power for the 12 volt lights. It was a year or so before the REA strung wire along that dirt road and we had 110V electricity. With great anticipation I turned onto that road to find that the county no longer kept it up and it had regressed into a farmer's turn row. We soldiered on and it was soon apparent that there was no trace of the place I remembered so clearly. So, on up to Causey, a little further north up hwy 214, where I started 1st grade. All ruins. I decided that my sidetrack adventures needed to take place at sites someone else remembers from then on, as seeing nothing that you clearly remember is just too unsettling!
If you're in the area, check out boyds sanatorium in dripping springs (las cruces). There are also quite a few other interesting places around Las cruces
I didn't have time to get to Dripping Springs, but filmed something in Las Cruces that will be up in a couple weeks.

I lived/worked in Deming for about 3 yrs around 1982. Nice little town.
I lived in out in the exact area Steve was at for 11 years. I didn't know anything about that parallel universe thing. My husband an I were members of the Friends of Rockhound Park for years. They used to give lots of history lesson but never talked about this. It's amazing Steve found this place.

Hey! I've visited these before. The artist who made them is....interesting. Kcymaerxthaere is one weird rabbit hole to go down.
I'd never heard of it and after looking into it realized there are some of these in Southern California.

That is all remnants of part of the Gage Gas pumping station. It looks like someone added a few things and made up a good story as a tourist attraction. That pond looking thing was a mud pit for a well drilling operation back in the 70's and it turned out to be a dry hole. Now you know the true story.
I don't know how you do it Steve, but once again you have found something different and off the beaten path for us all to enjoy! I sure hope that the warning signs posted don't bring you something unexpected from the other universe!! Always look forward to Wednesday morning to see where you take us next, keep up the great work!!!

I sit in awe of this magnificent concrete aboveground amphitheater. It brings such joy to my left foot. My only concern is this the adjacent universe crowned by the nebula of the blackhole, or is it just a man-made thing-ma-jiggy?

This must be a recently made site, as I lived in Deming for over 15 years. I did recognize one feature in the video. The three mountain peaks, in the distance are the Tres Hermanas, or Three Sisters. Columbus, NM is a few miles south of there.

"The roots from a tree in the other universe," now thats funny! This place is not that far from me, so I'll have to check it out sometime. It'll be a nice motorcycle trip for me. I have done a lot of hiking the mountains to the west of where you were. I think a lot of that land in this area was sold to people back in the 60's and 70's, very cheaply, through magazine ads. Yes, that was a US Border Patrol surveillance blimp that you saw in the sky.

Wowzers definitely one of the most unusual locations you have brought us to. But now I have to set a life goal of seeing the other 142! (I will have to skip the 0.5 location on the moon for now).
I wonder if there is a suggested sequence to get the most out of the story.
Back in those days when you navigated,the US Mail was sent by air ... Since they didn't have GPS , the Mailman required visual assistance....It was provided by huge symbols indicating the correct direction they should maintain...Arrows painted white, and several other symbols were very good navigating aids.... Daylight flying only....🌹
Outside of Quartesite AZ there's a big rock arrow and town name that was used by pilots way back when

Enjoy your videos, especially those along I8 & I10. We recently moved from The OC to a spot between San Antonio and Austin. We go back and forth between the two places and your videos provide some great insight into the history and roadside attractions along the way. When I watch your videos I know right away where you are and what the area looks like. Would be interested in the History of Steins right across the AZ NM border. Also, piece of trivia, du you know when yo travel between Willcox and Lordsburg you pass by the town where the fictional Johnny Rambo is from?

By the way, did you check the central alignment of the triangles to magnetic and true compass orientation? Don't ask me why, but I still carry a good issue G.I. lensatic compass and case with me. You never know... lololol 😆😂😂. Crazy place... Nice sitting benches for a talk, or stargazing and the Crater... I'm intrigued by this thing a little bit. 😊!!
