True, if I was just spinning it. On this unit, if you line up the top and bottom numbers, then the reading will be accurate. Check out the video I did on how to use the Rotor Master. I made sure to get the approval from the designer of the rotor master.
Dog is correct. The way you are getting the rotor strength is incorrect. You have to shim the rotor to center then rotate the rotor to get accurate readings.
@BULLYDOGKYLE I get what you're saying. However, if the top a bottom numbers are aligned, it does not matter. It allows the full reading of both north and south. Even the designer of the machine agrees.

Find center first with shims. Reset the reader. Then rotate the rotor 1 revolution. This will be way more accurate.
