I pray the doctor has someone that caters to his hands the way he caters to his patients' feet. I wonder if he's ever sore... I really hope he's taking good care of himself, most people who serve others put themselves last. Blessings on you!

I want to thank you for your conversations with this and all patients. My mom and an elderly friend have both suffered from foot issues. They were sort of treated but not explained, not given recommendations for other exams or treatments. Without my continual questioning, we wouldn’t have received enough help for my mom. My elderly friend, I’m unable to help because I can’t accompany her to any appointments. You set a great example and I hope others will follow your lead.

Yes indeed! I had a wonderful podiatrist who treated me like his mom or favorite auntie. I wasn't looking for pampering, he just delivered it as part of his care; careful filing, paring, massage with lotion, even earplugs when using the dremel. He closed his practice and has gone off the radar. The current podiatrist is brusk, told me he doesn't use the dremel as he doesn't want to inhale nail dust all day. I have to point out corn/callous that needs trimming, no lotion, just the conveyor belt of patients, in/out quick as possible. I know I should move on, maybe AC, after covid. All the best to DC doc who has a wonderful manner with his patients.

This was an especially educational video. Having such a complex case and hearing about what the other doctor has done and not done, is eye opening.

She was wise to travel to you after not getting any results from the doctor she saw in New York. It can be very frustrating having a doctor not be able to care for you in the way that you need them to. Instead of saying come back over & over it would be nice for them to give you a referral to someone who can really help. From one New Yorker to another "You Got This"
