I was trying to stay away from the bend in the blade. I didn't want to make it worse.

We think the world is small today, just jump on a plane and you can go anywhere, however the world looks like it has been small for a long time. Fashions in tools seem to be universal a long time ago. Perfect handle screwdrivers made in USA and Germany 100 years ago. All countries seem to copy each other. The double ended wrench was good buy. If next time you have a black eye the punch bag is working.
I stay out of MagDaughter's way - she's a second degree black belt!
I always enjoy seeing the thrifty things people did in the past. Using a handle from one saw and putting it on a saw blade that it obviously doesn't go to is Good Old Yankee Ingenuity.
Makes me wonder what happened to the original handle.
You picked up a lot of neat things. I never saw double ended adjustable wrench before so that is my favorite. The chicken is neat! Thanks for sharing this.

I love those old Barlow knives! That chicken cracks me up! When toy shopping for little nieces and nephews, the wife knows where to find me when the sirens and lights go off everywhere! LOL. What great finds! I'm really liking the perfect handle and wooden handle screwdrivers! Happy 4th!

I had a Dutch tool catalog from 1919 and it warned for inferior German imitations of perfect handle screwdrivers. Apparently Germany wasn't know for it's quality at that point. The Cresent sure was a steal.
I was surprised that the Crescent wrench was worth so much!

My favourites are the pistol grip saws. From the colours on the Millers Falls blade one, I’d say it was a Millers Falls grip too. Nice score👏

I dont think you need a lucky t shirt when it comes to finding really cool tools. You've really got a sharp eye. The earlier time when you found the nice boxed set of Forstner bits for $5 convinced me of that. But the shirt was really working when you picked up the other treasures. Must really be something to it after all. I think the perfect handle screw drivers must be pre ww2, otherwise they would say West Germany. They look pretty old.

Wow, that wrapping paper is expensive. All of that cool stuff would be irresistible. We sell the rubber chickens at the Hardware store. We had one about a year ago that was a pirate version. Eye patch, wooden leg and hat, it was hilarious. I don't know why guys like them but most women don't.🤣 Another great haul!👍🏻
If I see a pirate chicken at a sale it is coming home with me!
Double crescent wrench is my favorite. I have one that's been beat up.
The smaller jaw is locked up. I have it soaking in Evapo-Rust.

Hi Magdad , I'd Say You Got Lucky Again . Some Great Finds There. I Like The Double Ended Crescent Wrench 🔧 . I Went To My Local FM And Got A Couple of Good Deals Too. A 3 Tray Plano Tackle Box #3300 . Mint Just Dirty $3 ! And A Rapala Fishing Knife $2 . Just Needed Evaporust for A Tiny Bit of Surface Rust. And Will Need Dremel Work To Remove Paint . It Has A Sealer On It That Paint Remover Won't Touch it !

I'd love to see what you can do with that old saw, replacement handle maybe, that's quite a coarse cut (low tpi) so I guess best for cutting with the grain ?
The screwdriver that you liked the handle of, could be an inspiration for another mini-lathe project ?

Great finds as usual! You would not bring home anything less! My favorite is definitely the 1935ish pistol grip saw! I scored a "new" red ryder BB gun from someone's trash recently. It was neglected and left somewhere damp so it will need a complete teardown. It is not a very old one, but the price was right! 😁👍😁

Another great haul! I'm sorry, but the chicken has to go to college. That's the kind of thing that my grandkids love to drive me crazy with. I think my favorite is the pistol grip saws. The oldest one, especially.

You have made the choice very hard with all your great finds. I love the perfect handle screwdrivers the best, but that Barlow knife was tempting and the double ended adjustable wrench, also. I thought that you would give the chicken to Chuck. Those puzzles should keep Mrs. Magdad busy.

That chicken is hilarious 😆 but that 2 sided adjustable wrench is awesome and what a great buy I do like Golden Nugget and go there sometimes but like you said sometimes prices are high but I do manage to get some great deals once in a while too 👍
The Golden Nugget can get crazy busy on the weekends. I'm lucky to work nearby and can sneak over on Wednesday mornings.

The handsaw appears to be a rip saw. An Ol' Skoll carpenter once told me a bowed handsaw can be straightened by "slapping" the blade on a flat surface. I never had the experience myself, but the guy could also play a saw, so . . .
I think you're right, it's a rip saw.
Glad to hear Chuck is on the side of sanity. And I particularly like your MF saw. It almost looks like it could be in their buck rogers line.
Chuck is always the voice of reason. I wish the paint was a little better on the MF saw.
My favorite is the Barlow, but I was envious of the metric/standard Crescent even before you showed the online price. I am trying to sell Toyota box end wrenches online, but I have not run across any maniacs yet. Great video.

I think those square-shank screwdrivers come from the factory that way! My identical screwdriver has the same bend…

I have yet to find a perfect handle on any of my travels yet, did pickup a nice Worth branded screwdriver recently though
