this coreographer is afriking geeenious. and i doubt paula could be more incredible. this is like the 500th time ive wached this and im still gona wach it again...lol. i would give this a PERFECT score if i had judged it
well in the world that is dance competitions if u've been around it long enough, you appreciate the dance not the imperfections that is the costume, hair or anything else. You take the passion that the dancer gives. ps. Paula is AMAZING she gave me goosebumps as always :)
all i can say is...i wanna dance like HER! she gives dance the title it deserves and brings out the phisical aspect of dance that might put it in "sports" as well as "arts" sooo gorgeous though!

this is one of the best solos I have ever seen. She is such a beautiful dancer, so committed to the movement, such amazing technique and the choreography is breath-taking. Too many cool skills to count. She is a choreographers dream and she better dance professionally because she is a gift.
she sorta stumbles over the top of her foot, the change of arms at the end of her turn at 1:56, and the entire ending from 2:28 on, esp the wrist flick at the very end... seriously love this piece more and more with each viewing
Paula don't ever give up. Just because some judges didn't see how talented u are, doesn't mean u arent amazing xD i love you, u are a real insperation to me. whenever i feel like giving up on dancing, i watch you and remember how much i really love it. just keep trying paula! =) btw- ive watched this vid. 38 times so far!

Insane. I saw her give up her Miss Starpower title in Orlando and she seriously is the best dancer I have ever watched perform. AMAZING girl and sooooooooooooooo nice to everyone. Not to mention...gorgeous face, gorgeous body, gorgeous personality. Love her and expect to see her win So You Think You Can Dance this season!
When I saw her audition, I literally thought two things: 1. That girl's gonna make it into the top 5. 2. God I can't wait to see what she does with some Mia Michaels choreography!! I was absolutely CRUSHED when I found out she turned SYTYCD down. I really hope she makes it though in whatever area she chooses though. She has amazing talent and she's stunningly gorgeous. I'm definitely a fan.
I remember her years ago doing Little Bird at Starpower and having the crowd be almost completely silent while she was performing. She is THAT captivating to watch. I used to dance at Dance Explosion and as competitive as we could be at times you still had to appreciate what this girl does on stage no matter where your competing from.

2:19 - there is nothing I hate more than when a dancer turns SOOOOOOOO fast, and paula is able to do the slowest triple I think I've ever seen, phenomenal, her turns in general are gorgeous 1:33 - that sorta reversed toe rise, WOW I could pretty much list moment after moment here, flawless and absolutely inspiring, the combination of the song, the choreography, her technique and passion makes for one of the most beautiful dances I've ever seen
to answer your first question, Shannon did reuse this song for a small group for 2009 comp season. then, for your second question, Paula went to DP first, then she graduated high school and then Jordan came in. although Jordan is now at DP, Jordan did NOT take Paula's spotlight. they are two different people, both which have a great talent and passion for dance.
