*To everyone who's watching because of SYTYCD and has never been to a dance competition* this is a duo/trio entry from her studio. Some studio's enter 60-75 dances (including solos) at each competition and this is probably one of many of Lauren's dances. This one WON over the rest which is why HOF has it on its website.
Even if you don't like the choreography, the 3-5 panel judging table that you can't see did. That's why it won. Costumes can be anything from rags to diamonds too.

seriosuly, that was beautiful and briliant leave it alone
that was so cute! I loved the choreography, it was incredibly sweet, but it was also really awkward at parts. Just like a real teen love story! :) It all felt so real and natural.

this is what I see: playful children maturing into a young couple. That's what the movements are telling me. I could be wrong, and the choreographer might be trying to portray something totally different, but that's totally ok - it's art, right?
All in all, I absolutely love this number. It makes me very happy :)

if you like this, then you have got to see this same routine by mandy moore set on jillian meyers and tony testa. it's absolutely brilliant. lauren and miles are awesome, but older dancers really communicate the message in a way that's just impossible for teenagers with this kind of routine. you can look it up under 'lets waste time mandy moore' or it's in my favorites somewhere.

I will be the first to say that dances don't have to be full of tricks (jumps, turns, leaps, etc) but this needed a little more. The emotion was great, but dancers don't spend countless number of hours in technique class to not use it. I think there were a few dead moments that a turn would have been very appropriate! Great job dancers!

These dancers are so wonderfully talented, the choreography was okaaayy...but not exactly the best that it could have been, but it was a good performance

@rapchick234 if anything, I wish costumes were always simple. is it really necesary to wear something flashy. If it's a dance competition, showcase the dance with coreography(i know I'm a horrible speller) and hard work, not sparkles; although sparkles are pretty awesome.

Costume does not matter. it's the dancing. some people are so dumb. so what if you can buy it at walmart, the simplar the better. it does not take away from the dancing.
i could only get through half.. sorry. But loads of potential from both dancers.
