Hey! @TTENetwork I flew G-OBYF to Cape verde on 5th October and we saw cabin crew taking pictures with the plane. They said on board that its over 25 years old! and they it was soon to be retired and converted into a cargo hauler! Its why they never decided to upgrade it since it was easier to sell on and buy new. Looking at tracking data it looks to be in conversion right now. Its funny you pointed how old it was, some of the overhead bins flew open on takeoff for us!
Nice report as per usual sir, just come back from Crete this week with TUI on there 787 and as much as I love the 767 the 787 is so much better, was chatting to the captain on the return leg and he was x 767 captain and remarked that it's was his favourite of all the Boeing's to pilot, he said it was a pilots aircraft to fly. But then remarked we had just done Crete to Manchester flying at 43,000 ft at over 650 MPH in 3 hours 10 mins, something only the 787 can do.
Yea I get that the 787 is more built for long haul over the 767. It's just a shame Boeing didn''t make the 787 look a little more interesting. To me the 787 looks like a very functional aircraft, but thats completely my opinion. I have flown the 787 on 3 occasions and yes they are nice to fly on with the big open cabin and low noise levels. Glad you had a nice time Dreamweaver787. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment!
The seats I find are reasonably comfortable and with a head rest which the old seats did not have, but those flight entertainment screens really were fun to have
Ah good question. I'm hoping to get it out by the weekend. I've had a bit of a snooze with editing recently and just been focusing on little clips. So glad to hear you're excited for it just as much as I am!
I’ve been in Manchester terminal 2 in its modern form. It’s so modern as shiny! Ill be flying here in July and February 2024! Manchester airport is alot bigger than Leeds Bradford 😁. I think Leeds Bradford needs a Terminal 2 and more flights to long haul destinations
I don't think Leeds will get that, everyone goes through Manchester Airport. MAN has the facilities and is in the right place, Leeds Bradford is on the top of a hill. I know you are biased towards LBA, but somethings you have to face sense in the face. Thanks for the comment though! I Agree T2 is a great Terminal. I love spending time there!
Great vid and airplane..How do you know where TUI will fly the 767 on short-haul, since they don't let you see the seatmap of the aircraft during a dummy-booking in order to know which flight to book?
Usually TOM2202 is a 767 and thats to Tenerife. I just use the flight codes to predict the aircraft as they never usually change the equipment unless its gone tech
What time did you arrive at the airport ? I travel from there in may with my son who’s autistic I’m dreading it’s going to be mega busy ! We have to arrive at 3am for our flight to Menorca
I think I arrived at 3AM on that day, not 100% sure though. What I would do is look on google and see what times MAN airport gets busy according to the day you travel. You can also seek assistance and wear a sunflower lanyard which will help you in the event of massive queues. I may also add that you should consult your airline about these concerns as well; The staff at Manchester Airport are always very helpful and I've flown out of there over 40 times. Best of luck. TTE
Something up with auto correct correcting Cruise, to Cruse. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again!

Can’t wait … 19 days until I fly with Tui 👏
Nice im going with TUI on a 737-800 next July, so excited!
Awesome video 👌
Thanks 😀
Love the wing bouncing up and down on approach must of been windy looks like you had a great flight! Keep up the good work
Thanks for the comment 413!
The aircraft used to have screens in the seats. IT appears they've 'refreshed' the cabin and fitted those lightweight seats
The seats I find are reasonably comfortable and with a head rest which the old seats did not have, but those flight entertainment screens really were fun to have
Great review as ever sam
Thank you for the kind words!
Hi TTE!!! When Privilege 777 Trip Report? Can’t Wait ….🙌🏻

I saw this aircraft depart while watching a Manchester live departure and tracked it on flight radar, so cool to see on RUclips

Thankyou so much
So I take it they removed the screens? They had them when we flew it couple years back
Yeah they aren’t used for long haul anymore, they’re in a high density all economy config
My dream to fly on a 767, yiur lucky
I know they are
Magazine,safety card,menú card….on the floor? No seatpockets?? Wow…
I know, right?
This is GR
