As for the hounds, staring at them does put them at a distance but it's not guaranteed to make them go away. They give up when you hide in lockers and behind doors. If you hear them growling play a little more stealthy and stay away. Lockers and doors are your friends.
I played this with my friends, and when I tell you it was terrifying, IT WAS TERRIFYING. Such a good game for $5

There’s been a pretty nice update to this game with 2 new secret/alternate endings and an entirely new area (accessed from in the parking garage)! Hope to see you check it out, eventually

This was a great one - watched the vod the other day. If you want to try another backrooms game The Backrooms: Survival is a good game with a lot of replayability.

This game is so good in VR, immersion-wise, and way scarier. I definitely suggest trying. The first time I saw the Kane Pixels entity, it was such a terrifying experience. I also had a super creepy one where I had to hide around a corner in a dead end, the lights went red, saw its shadow on the wall, and it just waited there for a bit before leaving. It felt like I was in a horror movie.
Super janky, though. You can't change your character, you can't whistle, you can walk through a few gaps in walls at the start (level 0), there's no flashlight button, no hints like the screwdriver for ducts (I don't think it even said "follow the heartbeat" when you die), interacting with stuff is difficult but getting out of a locker is too easy (Index controllers), checking the trays on the floor teleports you into the floor, my vision kept going out (which I think meant it wasn't optimized but could've been my old Vive headset)...and I had a round where instead of starting in the elevator, I was in a tiny room outside of the elevator and I could see (and reach) into the elevator like it was a one-way mirror with no way to get out (even tried getting killed). Here's hoping they get a lot of good fixes for this game. It has potential.
If you haven't played it, a Backrooms game I definitely recommend Enter the Backrooms. It's simple in graphics but a lot of fun. The dev put a lot of work into it. It's a lot of collecting resources to try to survive long enough to get to the next level (every time you go to a different level, it saves) and having to learn how each level works and how each entity works. Some of the levels also have specific artifacts on them that give you a small buff every time you find them, so you can buff yourself by going back to previous levels or staying on the current one. I've put about 50 hours into it so far. You'd likely need to make a series of videos for it. I forget how long it took me to beat the game.
I feel like the game was perfect until the point you got to the radioactive door. After that, the game dropped a lot. But that monster that is just a smile in the dark? Absolutely terrifying, and that first time it appeared when you just opened a door, yeah Insym chicken out and didn't go inside and even forgot about the door but at that moment I think my soul left my body out of cheer fear, it was so scary omg
So excited to see you play more than just phasmophobia, as it is getting a bit repetitive. I love backrooms stuff too !!!

So many great horror games like this and not enough time to play them. I love that I can watch you play most of them and still get the experience. Your channel has been one of the best I've found since working from home.

I love Insym but man that room flip puzzle had me feeling like a genius. When it says FLIPPED it meant physically rotated 180° upside down. If you draw an arrow pointing left on a piece of paper and then spin that paper 180° your arrow is now facing the other direction.
In other words Insym and his Chat can't rotate the cow.
After typing this however I realized his point was, it started at 10, and the arrows were specifically pointing at the "next" number in the sequence. Just because you rotate the room doesn't make it point at the "next" number any less. It's just facing a different way to point at the number. Direction is irrelevant when the arrows are a sequence
I don't know if you knew this or not, but this game got an update where it lets you explore new places. I'd recommend checking it out. I'd also look at what the update contains as well.
I think the inverted room puzzle makes sense if it's also being inverted conceptually, everything in the room is meant to be inverted, literally "everything". The arrows being the same when flipped back over is consistent because the combination it tells you is incorrect. When it gets inverted the combination becomes correct instead of incorrect, but the order you enter things into a safe would get reversed as well. I'll admit it's confusing, it was hard to even put into words, took me almost 30 minutes of editing to sort out my thoughts... xD
Alternatively, the arrows could change if it even used the concept of inversion to change their physical state, because "the order of the arrows" would get reversed their physical locations and directions would change. This is the backrooms, walls changing in ways that defy physics is commonplace.
Plus there was another note that tells the order.

The one thing these backroom games always get wrong, is that there is only one pattern on all the walls. The original pic that started it all was yellow all over, but there were different patterns on the walls. That's part of what made it so eerie!

There’s new levels now, the sewers and hotel. The sewers is unlocked through the red door in the garage, go to the office and turn on the power, complete the clown room to get the red keycard, and go back to the entrance of the office and press the button to go back to the garage level. Red door should be in front to the left when you drop.
After completing the sewers, terror hotel will be unlocked.

Yeah a bit like that but instead of keycard hunting it's some weird puzzles that basically give themselves away from notes, atleast the first few.
You really should revisit this game, many more levels got introduced, the steelbar fence at the end is actually a new way you can explore more levels now

To handle the smiling creature you have to continually look at it while backing away till it disappears. Looking away and running will aggravate it. Also do not point your flash light at it as that will also result in death. You basically have to stare it down. It is ok to go around corners just as long as you're not looking away from it or shining a light at it.
You can go around corners just never turn your back on it.
staring at it makes your sanity go down and can kill you if you look at it too long
@@R4Z4K1N that's what the pills are for. Jerking the mouse away and running makes it kill you too. When you're as close to it as Insym it's best to just start backing away and if possible go around corners and break line of sight. From when I played this I tend to occasionally look at the floor and then back at it while backing away and it works like 95% of the time. The other times I would get hasty and run around corners and right into it.
Nobody says to like just stand still and keep looking at it lol you gotta start walking backwards and break LOS. But just don't jerk the mouse away rapidly like Insym or it'll getcha.

The Game: Everything. Everywhere. All at once.
I just played this game myself, and it seems either they released a bunch of new stuff, or you've missed a bunch. So there are 3 new levels and 3 new endings besides the ones you got. 1) having the red keycard you can return back to Parking level (you opened that one office door with a button to come back there), and in the Parking is a red door, which leads to a big new level and a different ending; 2) after escaping the party game, you can come back into the Party room for another level and a new ending; 3) after beating the Pool you come into a room with a lot of pillars and a locked gate at the floor. In this room you can find a note and also a bunch of symbols on those pillars: figure out a code with these and put it into the main computer back at the office. This opens that gate on the floor for yet another new level and another different ending!
So here's that. I hope you give this game another run sometime😊

I saw this on steam and got really excited because it looks like an actual Backrooms game that like, follows the lore or whatever. I'm really interested because the Backrooms deserves a legit game, and this looks really promising.
There is A new update to this backroom. I so hope and will love to watch you play through and do A video on it.
I had the same problem with the hound in the radiation area, he just camps the area so that section really turns into a time crunch as the extinguisher only keeps radiation low for up to 3 minutes 😭 the hound is my least favorite enemy in this game

I actually went there without a red keycard. My friend was already dead because of that find your gift section.. I had only one life left when I jumped into that piranha water for the first time... We finished the game it was amazing but the only problem I had was that the game doesn't have a saving system. Only 1 checkpoint for the office section.. Since there are people like me who has only a few of hours left in the day when they get home from work this is a huge dealbraker for me. Other than replaying a 1-2 hours of gameplay all over again I had fun. I know the developer is not a big fan of the saving or infinate lives kind of stuff but maybe adding difficulty levels (as in saving oportunity or adding lives) would allow new players to play and enjoy this game as well.. Everyone deserves to get a chance to immerse into the dark corners of the backrooms...

I know I'm late, but the flashlight is an indicator against the Smiley SCP, So if it flickers, that means your losing sanity. you need light to stop the anxiety from dropping.

Sprinting in video games is annoying asf. If you were being chased by what is only describeable with the word "satan," YOU'RE GONNA FIGHT THROUGH BEING TIRED AND RUN
That video exhausted me and I wasn't the one playing. I agree the 2nd part was not as well thought out as the first. The clown was a cool monster idea but he didn't pop up in the level, only the mini game. I thought you were gonna have to run from balloons like the face in the first level.

yeah my friends have been playing this game for a few days now and it is surprisingly difficult if you don't know what you're doing.
Edit: I also saw you do this a shit ton and get super mad over it during the radiation part of the game. You can wait in the locker until you hear the doggo go back up into the vent. If you keep baiting it to you by not letting it take its time and go up, you'll just keep dying over and over again. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes, sometimes it takes 5min. Apparently the dev wants it to be this annoying too, so just learn how to deal with the doggo. You also aren't taking enough time to decomtaminate the objects - which takes 5 seconds of spray to work. You don't need to move it around in circles and whatnot either, and you need to spend more than 0.5 seconds to see if an object is radioactive or not. And then do this all in 3min or less.

Watching Insym play this game was painful, The Dog and face was literally Fully Combatable. even at 1 hour 22 mins in, my boyfriend is telling me to calm down as i yell at the screen.
There's a corner with a bookshelf and a note in the flipped room. There are also more endings and checkpoints (Lobby, Parking, Office...)
This is the kinda game that I wouldn't play my self due to my terrible sense of direction, but is fun to watch. Very entertaining, nice one 👍

I have this game, it was really scary because I was playing it and then that creepy human/dog thing just casually walked around the corner and I didn’t run into one of those yet so it freaked me out so bad. Also the creepy face ghost thing which is like the third entity you run into was really creepy when I ran into it for my first time

you needed to use the motion sensor in the clown maze "find your present" without using it you are screwed, but you can still complete it. it was on you not getting the motion sensor again, its KEY for the maze

Man clipped through his keyboard, that's a weird way to get in
huge tip: you can emote with the num pad 1-5 and if you do #5 it's a sit-up emote. if you do that in lockers you can clip through and see what's outside. you can also do sit ups against walls to see through into the next room.
Diamn. I remember playing this game and there was mouse exelerator thing, which you can not turn off, and that made the mouse control for me pure pain and I was so motion sick in end that I was super glad I died.
And this does not seem to bother Insym at all. I guess it is skill issue then
