Hi Steven well if Beinn Alligin is the mountain that just keeps giving so do your videos! Your ability to focus on the positive aspects of your hike while still pointing out any negatives really is inspiring! Glad you mentioned scramble from first munro down to bealach i remember finding that a bit tricky too! Take care Steven Theresa 😊💙
Hi again Theresa, thoroughly enjoyed my two days up in Torridon and my week away with the lads….as my mate Dave says it takes a hillwalker to understand that coming down isn’t necessarily quicker than going up…..Alligin is a classic example of this. Take care Theresa, Steven 😊❤️
@@outofayrshire143i have a saying that i stole from a friend. You know your getting older when you stop referring to your knees as left and right and they become your good knee and your bad knee! 😂 Theresa 😊💙
😂 Like it although in my case it’s my good hip and my bad one, problem is they take turns at playing the parts so I never know which is which….sneaky 🤔 Steven 😊❤️
HI mate, absolutely brilliant, I do love the mountains of Torridon, they are just giants, and all seem to have a sting in their tail. It's only us hill walkers that realise that going downhill is not as quick as going uphill on a lot of occasions. Non hill walkers just don't get it do they? Haha I know you didn't have the nice blue skies that were forecast, but at least the clouds were high enough that you still got some fantastic views. What was happening at the end, was it just Peter that the beastie's were interested in? Take care mate. all the best Dave 😃⛰🥾🏕️🏴🏴
Hi Dave, thanks as always, aye you’re not kidding, when walk highlands suggested 6-7 hours for a 6 mile hike we were like aye ok, whatever….that came back to bite us in the arse 😂 Probably the steepest descent I’ve encountered and it was all rock lol, a fantastic day on a fantastic mountain tho and totally agree, Torridon is just something special….as for Peter feck knows, he was like that nursing a bottle of when when we got back 😂😂 I guessed the dreaded midge must have joined his party at some point but never really noticed them ourselves 😂 Weather scuppered all this weeks plans, hopefully get out Sunday 👍 Take care mate, Steven ⛺️🥾⛰️😊🏴🏴 P.s. Could you jammy feckers have gotten it any easier in the draw at the euros 😡😂😂
Aye,between there and assynt we had a blast…..doesn’t get much better tbh, God certainly knew what he was doing when he made the West of Scotland 🏴 Take care mate, Steven ⛺️🥾⛰️🏴🏴
