Brillaint video stevie mate. Even though it looked like a tough hike. I had a lot of days like that just because due to my fitness. But i do have determination. I did struggle on Bidean this year. Also on the lawers range to get to An Stuc. But struggled more on the way back to the car as i had to go back over Ben lawers. But somehow i didnt struggle on Ben Vane. Good to see you back on the screen. Enjoy your bike and hike tomorrow. And i hope that file of the Glenshee East munros i sent you is okay. ATVB Alan

@@outofayrshire143 Hi Steven aw apologies for sounding selfish missing your videos. I appreciate how hard it must be to film/edit these videos and have always been in awe of how you youtube folk manage to do it and still enjoy your day! You have to look after yourself and if your hearts not in it then just enjoy your hiking and hopefully being in the great outdoors without the pressure of making videos will do wonders for you! You’re not being selfish at all, if it wasn’t for yourself in particular and others like you with your kind words of praise and encouragement the channel would have sunk without trace a while ago. I’ve always maintained that I make the videos primarily for myself and future generations of mine to look back on but the fact that you and others actually enjoy what I create fills me with a sense of pride, that I’ve actually created something that others get some pleasure from is a great feeling and I’ve absolutely loved filming my days out on the mountains and getting the videos out every Thursday….latterly I’ve just not been feeling it and have to admit I’m enjoying getting out there and just hiking, it is a double edged sword tho as I’m no longer creating those memories 🤷‍♂️ maybe it’s this horrible summer, maybe work, life in general or just getting old….as I said I’ve a couple “cooking” which I’ll get out over next two weeks but I guarantee you that won’t be the last you see of me on the hills….maybe just the last for a wee while 😉 Take care Theresa and thanks for all the encouragement and lovely sentiments over these last couple of years, yours above all are the comments I’ve looked forward to 🥰 Steven ❤️

HI mate, absolutely brilliant, I do love the mountains of Torridon, they are just giants, and all seem to have a sting in their tail. It's only us hill walkers that realise that going downhill is not as quick as going uphill on a lot of occasions. Non hill walkers just don't get it do they? Haha I know you didn't have the nice blue skies that were forecast, but at least the clouds were high enough that you still got some fantastic views. What was happening at the end, was it just Peter that the beastie's were interested in? Take care mate. all the best Dave 😃⛰🥾🏕️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Morning mate. You beat me to it in the video. The view looking up to Beinn Eighe from down in the coire by the Loch is just stunning. Is there more impressive sight in Scotland than the tripple buttress? I'd say Coire Lagan in the Cuillen maybe a shout, but I bet there ain't many more. All the best mate, have a great weekend.
