  • Just picked up this all original 79 cutlass off of a ranch near canyon country ca. the car has only 85,000 original miles, V8, it was a one owner car. The original owner passed away and left the car sitting here since 2009. The car has its original paint and the interior is very clean. This car is very hard to find today with this patina. I plan to get the car running, put new tires on it, rebuild the carb, repaint the car it's original color and keep it all stock.

That's a good Barn find I will definitely keep it because the maintenance is cheap and easier to work on and it will last longer than New model

Quite a find! especially having a V8 in it, I am amazed the body hasn't rusted more by now. That was my first car as a kid in the late 80's early 90's it is pretty much as I remember it except different color and came with a moon roof, mine also came with that crappy V6. We changed it out for a V8 after a while, the V6 was so weak and just did not run very well at all. I think I also wrapped my steering wheel like that as well lol.

It’s got the rare gauge package without a tach.
Yes there were 2 different gauge packages you could order.

307 didn't make it to the Cutlass til 83. This is probably a 260.

I think it may be a 260 olds. They dont make much power but they are great engines that run forever. I could be wrong about it being a 260. A 307 is a little better
