somewhere tonight..... what a song by bob seger..... his music hits each of us like nobody else .... even such a song as "SOMEWHERE TONIGHT" EACH OF US know that our lives would not be the same if BOB SEGER was not in it......thank you bob seger for being such a great person/man that writes the songs for each of us in a different way that others do not hit! thank you bob seger! ...for being such a great songwriter/ singer as you!
I have always loved this song, even when things were good with our marriage. I could understand what the subjects in this song were going through and I felt for them. Unknowingly at the time that years later we would suffer the same fate. So now this song has even more meaning to me, and it tears me up...but I have always loved Bob Seger and still do!

Bob and band are on their last tour this year . I am travelling from Belfast / Ireland to see him in Sacramento on the 28th February and then down to Las Vegas 2nd March . Best singer , story teller in my book of all time . Can’t get enough of him .
Bob's the best in my book, too, Gerald ~ Enjoy your trip here to see him, you're a true fan ~ I've seen him many times, most recently in Pittsburgh, PA in September 2017 and Cleveland, OH December 2018, possibly for the last time, but we'll see ~ I can't imagine he won't end his last tour in Detroit with some dates, so maybe a road trip to Detroit is in my future, who knows!!! Safe travels and enjoy the shows, you won't be disappointed!!!

@@peggischimmel8656 I'm hoping time has healed those wounds. Mine left because he died in November of 2015. The joy I had in my heart and soul left my body. I was so lost. It's been a long road, but time really does heal the wounds. I hope you have found happiness. It doesn't necessarily need to come from someone else. I had to go inward to find it again. Nobody can take away or replace what's truly yours to begin with.

Unless I'm wrong, he writes about personal experiences & the type of life he's chosen, it's easy to understand. Back in '76, he got me with We've Got Tonight. I've never quit listening. Some people live a lifetime to find happiness & never find it. It is what it is.

Compared to "We've Got Tonight" this song is seriously under played and underrated. Saw him sing this in 1986 in Toronto. It has been one of my favorite Seger songs since. I wish he would pull this one out of the vaults and play it again.

I Seen him in concert in the 70s stood by the speaker and couldn't hear for 2 days after but I love me some Bob
I saw him at the Moda Center in Portland, Or. 2,02,19 He played the total of 2 hours with two, 2 song encores. Not bad for a man approaching the mid 70's. Bob, you are the greatest Michigan treasure.
