I was fortunate enough to see Nate live a few months back and his dad opened for him. It was great, his dad is hilarious in a different way than Nate, but it was a memorable show all the way around. I'll never forget it.
As a dad, I approve and agree. I laughed so hard my drink came out of my nose. Thinking about it now, I know my kids are in school. That's about as much as I know. Because they're not home. I hope they're in school....
@Guess Who's Back 🤣 As a Dad, I hear you. Please don't ask me her teacher's name is or what grade she's in. I tell you what tho, I tear thru 3rd grade hw like nuthin' yo. I've be valedictorian af of third grade now.
He’s so calm and that makes it so much funnier 😂. I saw him live in Little Rock Arkansas and it was the best thing I have ever seen in my life 😂😂😂I was crying with laughter when I left
I like him because he sounds like he just wandered in off the street and someone handed him a microphone and told him to talk for 5 minutes until the real performer shows up.
I remember when he was just starting out..he was always about really funny, good, clean comedy...now, he has defined himself as a top-shelf, clean comedian..BRAVA!!!
You can tell he really perfects these bits because when he performs them in different shows, the wording, pacing, intonation, and gestures are almost identical. It takes a lot of effort to seem as effortless as his comedy does.
If you like Nate’s effortless kinda funny vibe, I just discovered a comedian named Sam Morril and he gives me similar energy. Different topics but very similar delivery
@@nancyhernandez2271 his delivery is just so unbelievable. In his own words, “some of these jokes, you’re not going to like the content but structurally they’re pretty solid 💀” I can’t anecdotally relate to most of his content but I’m howling all the way through.
His delivery is the exact opposite of his humor... It's hard to quantify what, why, or how, he's this hilarious telling what seemingly are unhumourous situations... It's inexplicably hilarious.
_"How long is this trick?"_ Maybe the most criminally underrated punchline in standup history. It got a smattering of tepid laughter live and here I am alone in my bedroom a thousand years in the future absolutely laughing my ass off. That crowd should be ashamed.
This guy is super funny 😂 one thing that stood out to me though is he said he had his kid “later in life”, but he’s 41 and she’s 8. Seems normal to me tbh 😂
Couldn't care less about "clean" vs "dirty" comics (my other favorites include Burr, Jeselnik, Chappelle and Segura), but Nate's storytelling ability and delivery are among the best I've ever heard.
That is what I have been saying. If Bob Newhart and Kathleen Madigan had a son, it would be Nate. Except that he also reminds me of Jesse Pinkman....(just not angry or on drugs.)
Oh, and he has a podcast, haven't listened yet but maybe that'll give us a fix. Here on YT... I think its called Nate's world. Search his name, should come up.
Omg the “never call the dad or husband” joke is so realistically funny. It’s amazing how he finds comedy in so many things you don’t think twice about.! 😂
You as a man never think twice about this stuff. Women have to think about their children all the time since their husbands aren’t responsible enough to be a parent themselves. When husbands don’t act like a partner they are simply another child.
I just stumbled on this guy and I have to say as a dad who tells stories he’s much better so I’m gonna steal most of them finding humor in just the silliest absurd stuff is true stealth comedy I’m hooked
This guy is so funny I just threw some Mike & Ike's at my kids while they watch kids shows so I can hide in the bathroom and cry laughing. 🤣 Thank you!!! From all of us! Happy Saturday!
Just watched him on a interview with David Spade. Hadn't heard of him. Had to come see what he does. Wow, pretty darn funny stuff. He's worth watching more of. Thanks Davey.

"If I feel a comma is coming, I try to get out of that sentence so bad." - LOL
I love how he’s so casual about these hilarious stories. And for me, that makes it like ten times funnier
I love the fact that he is so smart yet comes across as kinda dumb. That takes a certain genius.
My fav comedian in the biz these days.
“Is this not a good time to visit you?” is the funniest thing in the entire world.
Your trick is backwards, sir.
Yeah.... I loved how he whispered it too like it was a tender moment between he and his dad!

“When you do comedy in front of people not expecting comedy, it doesn’t come off as comedy.” That really got me 🤣

I love that his comedy is clean. You don't need to cuss or talk about sex to be hilarious.
@kristen Woods I like clean best too, because, I think, you have to be clever and smarter to do comedy without talking about sex or cursing.
@@CurtyBullJake Johnston (Nick)?
I watch Nate a lot. His clean comedy lightens my day. Hope to catch him on this upcoming tour.
Is clean code for not funny
@@MrMakingwavesmedia it’s like rap, making it good AND clean is a challenge, but when it’s done right (like Nate) it makes the world of difference

Truly the best joke.
This guy's delivery is wonderful. Funny funny man.

Ha. I thought oh yeah, I think I heard it was from Iowa too. Then thought, oh wait, it's been around way before the united states existed.
That doesn't make you dumb it makes you open minded
Nate does a bit where he admits to being dumb after being fooled for twenty years by a couple with fake names
Nate always reminds me of Bob Newhart!
