I really wished India would take Sanskrit, a lot more seriously.
It seems Hindi/Urdu is more popular than Sanskrit.

Your comment gives the vibe of "Show off'.
If you had really read the veds especially Atharv Ved, it says never fear to anyone, never harm anyone just like the sun and moon.
So why using words like mercy in the beginning of someones ( especially mortal's) names. Those texts don't say to worship the Divine due to fear ( means don't fear even to Almighty,Divine,GOD etc whichever word you like) instead have devotion or adoration towards the Divine GOD

Franz Berger - Sir, Unfortunately I cannot show you the GOD whom I see with my senses. I could see God in her Mother who gifted her to us.
There r so many unresolved things in this universe n that r beyond the reach of science.
There is some supernatural power which is the cause for the existence of living beings in this universe which is beyond science. And we gave a name to that power as God. If some call God as Jesus, so some call him Ram, if some call him as Allah, some call him as Gurunanak etc.
I cannot get into a debate as to whether God exists or not. It’s one’s own belief. If you feel that God doesn’t exist, it’s your belief.

What it matter is wheather we have a positive change in life from the words
There are many more paths in Hinduism
I will give you 4 paths of Hinduism
1st Jnana marga (path of knowledge)
2 nd Dyana Marga (path of Meditation, concentration, bhajan, prayers)
These 2 needed for significant path
3rd path KARMA MARGA (path of hardwork) (with out knowledge and concentration you cannot do your duty or hardwork or job or responsibilities)
These 3 leads to last path
4 Mosksha Marga (path of Spirituality, (living without ego)
Hardwork is the essence of Mosksha and Hinduism
      Krishna always tells Arjun
      Do your Karma
With Dharma in heart (morality and hardwork against Adarma)
Krishna told Arjuna simpaty at wrong side is just like selfishness
      Face the truth
      Keep emotions out of hardwork
If you are right no need to impress anyone
Krishna is the best guru in Bhagavat Gita
Krishna is better than white beard gurus he is the only guru in geeta who did what he said he is the best friend of Arjuna and his guru too
A guru should be a friend too
      Krishna told don't feel sad
Sadness is not a goodly character

@Franz BergerJust think of some fishes which are kept out of water , in a fancy , beautiful, expensive waterless bowl. But they are not happy no matter how beautiful the waterless bowl is, they are just craving for going into the water. At this point of time if they listen sound of water they will try to jump out of the empty bowl to try one last time to find the water and dissolve into it. This is something they know from inside that water is what they need the most.
Same way if you want to know if Lord Krishna exists then try to go to him. Think of him all the time, tell him all your pains , tell him all the sufferings you had to go through. And observe yourself what changes are coming into you. And also please go to a local Iskcon temple and listen to the 'Hare Krishna" chanting in the evening time. You will sure know him!!!! Hare krishna. 🙏🏼

This is not a place for debate, and nobody is interested in debating with an unintelligent idiot, who is a India hater from Karnataka. Germany is freezing, and you are depressed. Go and see a doctor. Nobody has to proof anything to you. It is better you live a life of a dog, abusing women, barking and trolling people who are not interested in you. Also, do not worry about God, Geeta. A person with the size of a dog's brain, can not enter an elite club of enlightened people, who achieved their consciousness through hardwork.

You will surely understand the greatness of wisdom hidden in them. Just forget the hatredness being spread in the name of religion. Even I oppose such people. They are the ignorant foolish people. This is a beautiful poem written by Adi Shankaracharya, in which the state of Jnana, the Paramartika Satya is beautifully explained. Adi Shankaracharya explains how one should investigate into the true nature of Atman/Brahman by rejecting the Anatma’s (Non-Self) that are mere superimposition on Atman.
      मनो बुद्ध्यहंक- ारचित्तानि- नाहम् न च श्रोत्र जिह्वे न च घ्राण नेत्रे

Meaning- I am not the mind, Intellect, Ego and faculty of recollections (i.e. the 4 types of Antah-Karana); nor am I the faculty of hearing, faculty of taste, faculty of smell and faculty of sight (i.e. the Jnanendriyas- the faculties of perception). Nor am I the space, the earth, nor the fire/light nor the air (i.e. the Mahabhutas-the great elements). I am Shiva (Auspiciousness) of the nature of Consciousness and Bliss.

Sanskrit has been used 102,78,50,00,000 words from ancient time to 2016. These words will be doubled by 2200 or so if India uses it as an official language from these days.
It is able to make its own words, unlike English which borrows words from other languages. But it doesn't mean English is behind the Sanskrit.
Every language has its own culture and properties. Respect each and every language.
Edited :- Even English language changes with time to time but its not happens with Sanskrit. There is not effect of time on Sanskrit.

Incidentally, in Sanskrit, the vowel sounds and musical notes are both called 'swaras'. Also, the Indian goddess of knowledge, Saraswati is the goddess of music as well. She is always depicted holding a veena in her hands. India has had a tradition of passing down knowledge orally from one generation to the next as mantras. The 'Bhagvad Gita' itself means the 'Song of the God'.

Really appreciate the whole team putting these gems together. Here is the full translation of Chants.
Dhrutrashtr Said: Oh Sanjay! After my sons and the sons of Pandu assembled
in the place of pilgrimage at Krukshetra, desiring to fight, what did they do?
Arjun Said: O Govinda, of what avail to us are a kingdom, happiness or even life itself
when all those for whom we may desire them are now arrayed on this
battlefield? O Madhusüdana, when teachers, fathers, sons, grandfathers,
maternal uncles, fathers-in-law, grandsons, brothers-in-law and other relatives
are ready to give up their lives and properties and are standing before me, why
should I wish to kill them, even though they might otherwise kill me? O
maintainer of all living entities, I am not prepared to fight with them even in
exchange for the three worlds, let alone this earth. What pleasure will we derive
from killing the sons of Dhrutrashtr? Sin will overcome us if we slay such aggressors. Therefore it is not proper for
us to kill the sons of Dhrutrashtr and our friends.
Sanjay said: Arjuna, having thus spoken on the battlefield, cast aside his
bow and arrows and sat down on the chariot, his mind overwhelmed with grief.
Krishna (Bhagvan) Said: O son of Partha, do not yield to this degrading impotence. It does not become
you. Give up such petty weakness of heart and arise, O chastiser of the enemy.
As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly
accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones.

Perform your duty equipoised, O Arjuna, abandoning all attachment to
success or failure. Such equanimity is called yoga.
For one thus satisfied [in Krishna consciousness], the threefold miseries of
material existence exist no longer; in such satisfied consciousness, one’s
    intelligence is soon well established.
Therefore, without being attached to the fruits of activities, one should act
as a matter of duty, for by working without attachment one attains the
    Supreme.
Whatever action a great man performs, common men follow. And whatever
standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues.
Therefore, O Arjun, surrendering all your works unto Me, with full
knowledge of Me, without desires for profit, with no claims to proprietorship,
    and free from lethargy, fight.
It is far better to discharge one’s prescribed duties, even though faultily,
than another’s duties perfectly. Destruction in the course of performing one’s
own duty is better than engaging in another’s duties, for to follow another’s
    path is dangerous.
Being freed from attachment, fear and anger, being fully absorbed in Me and
taking refuge in Me, many, many persons in the past became purified by
knowledge of Me-and thus they all attained transcendental love for Me.
One is understood to be in full knowledge whose every endeavor is devoid of
desire for sense gratification. He is said by sages to be a worker for whom the
reactions of work have been burned up by the fire of perfect knowledge.
One who performs his duty without attachment, surrendering the results
unto the Supreme Lord, is unaffected by sinful action, as the lotus leaf is
    untouched by water.
By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All
beings are in Me, but I am not in them.
O son of Kunti, at the end of the millennium all material manifestations
enter into My nature, and at the beginning of another millennium, by My
    potency, I create them again.
If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit or water, I will
    accept it.
He who knows Me as the unborn, as the beginningless, as the Supreme Lord
of all the worlds-he only, undeluded among men, is freed from all sins.
The splendor of the sun, which dissipates the darkness of this whole world,
comes from Me. And the splendor of the moon and the splendor of fire are also
    from Me.
Being purified by his intelligence and controlling the mind with
determination, giving up the objects of sense gratification, being freed from
attachment and hatred, one who lives in a secluded place, who eats little, who
controls his body, mind and power of speech, who is always in trance and who
is detached, free from false ego, false strength, false pride, lust, anger, and
acceptance of material things, free from false proprietorship, and
peaceful-such a person is certainly elevated to the position of self-realization.
Though engaged in all kinds of activities, My pure devotee, under My
protection, reaches the eternal and imperishable abode by My grace.
    Namashkaram. 🙏

The more they will try to hide the more awareness will spread.Hide the truth however you may but it will again resurface. We haven't lost yet people are being made aware. There was no social media influence ten years ago.It is becoming prominent and India people have great affection towards it.Just a few years more of this Hindutva influence and the resonance will again be felt in my fellow countrymen.People of our nation are understanding they are more aware what is happening around them to what was a decade ago. There will be no need of political agendas slowly and gradually people are realising and will with time.
Political parties have idealogies and they are bound to fail in a cycle of time because this world is not ideal but a practical place.

      @GK-ui8fv 5 лет назад +2

Stop blaming Congress. I grew up in India in North. I studied it upto High school after which I selected to go for science or Engg subjects. If your parents could not find you the right school, how could Congress be responsible for that. Do you think BJP has provided them Sanskrit in govt school now. It did not even try to implement it as an education policy. In its own shishu mandir across North, teaching Sanskrit is not the agenda but turning you into a intolerant Hindu lost in the past glory is the agenda. Making you ready for today's world armed with Science is not the agenda but in cultivating belief that all that is avaliable today to learn was always attained by seers in the past. There is no new knowledge.
So stop pontificating that Congress kept you from knowing Sanskrit or your own history. Congress certainly did not embellish it claiming that past had achieved everything. Congress left you a realist not a soul lost in the past ready to claim an unproven glory - a vain glory.

    • @GK-ui8fv
      @GK-ui8fv 5 лет назад

Darth Emoder You are ready to judge everyone - so opinionated that it must be hurting you to argue. Let's just stick to a few things that I mentioned earlier and I will repeat here.
Does BJP not claim that all science etc was already attained in the past. Do you want to retreat to past. Muslims want to go back and live in 8th century and you can not define which century you want to retreat to. So genetics and surrogacy, IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) was in vogue in ancient time because sitaji was born from a ghara ( earthen pot)? Because the Ganesha has a elephant trunk then it means our past had plastic surgery, skin graft, organ transplant or better still xenotransplantation was so much readily available. Shall I go on talking about other bombastic inanities uttered by your favourite party head. Should he rule this country?
