thanks for the guide! had a save with mohg killed on co-op and didnt wanna have to play through the game again before the dlc drops, saved me a painful week of grinding, appreciate it!
Same here had a save on seamless but after the update i kept getting errors and did what he said at 5:30 and transferred all my progress to vanilla and dont have to start again
If you haven't discovered them already, I believe the new items added from the Seamless Coop appear as values 8380001, 8380002, and so on going up to 8380006. For me at least, whenever I rested at a site of grace the items would reappear in my inventory so it made it easy to find out which values they were. Of course you would have to redelete them again and although they would still appear in my inventory they couldn't be used after deleting. Then I just went as normal and transferred over. I hope this helps some.

I've been having problems with NPC's as well that I couldn't interact with them at all, I wanted to try out seamless co-op with friends but its only now that I see the setbacks in using this mod, I realized that it was buggy while trying to do Rya's questline , and when I defeated Istvan there was no progression at all.

The game Just Updated, and if Seamless lis not launching for you you can use an anti-cheat disabling mod to launch the vanilla game and remove the items. Something like this: www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/90

Sorry, I'm away from any sort of computer for a while, but you'll follow the last bit of this guide (The part about transferring the save SLOT over to vanilla SL2 file) THEN launch the vanilla game with that mod, SO ANTI-CHEAT IS DISABLED, then do the steps about removing the mod items. Normal vanilla will work after that. So to say it another way, you'll do the last step of this guide BEFORE the step about removing the items.
But the cheat engine 7.5 is not working because of the “table 2.0.1.0.”

Seamless Co-Op just updated and there's 6 items, and the cheat table also updated today.
The item ID's 0, 11 etc aren't deleting in-game to verify when they're deleted in the table, did I do something wrong?

LOL! Yeah we're already working on an updated seamless guide. The entire thing changed so it messed up everything. The only thing that works the same is transferring from vanilla to seamless. You CAN down patch the game, then download the older version of the mods to transfer back to vanilla, but it's a bit hot or miss.

Bro thank you so much for this video!! I used to play seamless coop with my buddy but now I play solo so after the DLC update seamless kept giving me errors so I did what you said at 5:30 and transferred my seamless coop progress to the vanilla version and it worked I don't have to start from zero. Now I can grind the DLC thanks buddy!

When I click users in my files, I dont get the same options as you, and cant select the next file step, (P.S I am on laptop, is that the main issue?)
Ok. Sounds like you need to show hidden files. Windows hides system files so you don't accidentally mess with your operating system. Hold on let me get the steps.
OK, depending on your version of Windows, you just need to go up to the top of the window and click "View" then over to the right and select "View Hidden Items" That should make them show up for you.

An easier way to do this is just reinstall the ESC mod and it removes all the old modded items from your inventory and you can just change the co2 to an sl2
Actually the easiest way is to just change the file extension!! Vanilla ER updated since this video came out (That whole DLC thing) and now it just removes the Seamless items without any fuss!

For those struggling, you can skip out on the cheat engine, just revert the file co2 back to sl2 in the files, delete your seamless coop and ersc_Launcher and it should have removed those items when rebooting.

You actually don't need to remove the other seamless co-op items. You can litteraly just rename your CO2 save file to SL2 and vanill will fix it with no problems.

I have cheat engine downloaded - I'm curious as to how you find the eldenring_all-in-one hexington file? I'm unable to find it in my files even though I opened the seamless co-op character.

Happened to me too. Pretty sure you have to unzip the file you downloaded from nexus mods (I used 7-zip)

Check the pinned comment. You can do it in vanilla with anti-cheat, so long as the cheat engine is working!
help man, i cant find the items in the ID list and instead of finding and deleting them, my character gets the coop items again and again when i go in to a grace. How do i find the items from the coop that are in my inventory to delete them in the id list. PS the lost grace item glitch has been solved, now i just need to know how to delete the items from my inventory.

This may be a dumb question, so please bear with me. If I already updated before moving my seamless coop character like you did here, can you run elden ring offline with the seamless coop file (change extension to reg save, stay offline, delete non-vanilla items)?
Yes, but just to be safe, use an anti-cheat disabler to keep it from knowing that you have naughty unapproved items!

Yeah, and they messed things about a bunch so there are now a bunch more item 1's around? We are working on an update RN, but it might be a few days before we are satisficed it works 100%

I haven't been able to find 10, 11, or 20 for the ID part but I've found many 10s however they are of type Weapon not Goods. Is there any way to speed up the searching process?
There's a new option to "Make all items discardable" or something like that. That would allow you to drop all the modded items, and I've heard some have tried it and have not been penalized.

@@ralphymwe almost have the newest guide up, but to answer your question, as of the latest ER patch, you no longer need to remove the items. ER does that automatically without even a warning.
I'm having an issue. Whenever I try to open the cheat engine it doesn't let me. This always pops up "Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software". Could anyone please help me out?
Is that McAfee popping up? Or some other anti virus software?

Ok, there should be a place to click on that window that allows you to bypass the block. Something like "more info" or "advanced" or something? It technically IS hacking into the Elden Ring game files while it's running, so it can delete the items, but not in the viral sort of way!

You won't NEED to as the vanilla game ignores them completely.
i cant find the tecsl folder anywhere i clicked local disk (C:) then USER and only 2 folders show up

Yes, you can certainly make copies of your files! Just make sure to put them in different folders and label them well so you don't get them mixed up!!

Welcome back! And yeah we've got a new set of item numbers (but I think they have changed it with yesterday's update) HOWEVER, now it seems that vanilla is playing nicely and all you have to do is change the save files extension to SL2 and vanilla will remove the items by itself! So just skip over the cheat engine portion of the guide and do the transfer of your choice.

there is no item in my inventory with an ID of 21, i deleted 0 10 11 and 20 and those items appear to still be in my inventory.
The DLC messed with this guide, but they fixed it and if you'll check the Description of the video you'll see.
after reading the recent comments, can confirm i just skipped all the cheatengine stuff and just converted c02 to sl2 and i am back in vanilla now without the coop items. will update if i ever get a notice from the game. but seems to be good for now. i did delete coop folder and launcher beforehand though, not sure if it made a difference
I've done it without removing the co-op stuff. I have to assume Fromsoft is now detecting those items and just removing them without warning!

Hello, I did everything he does in the video, yet when I open vanilla I get “failed to load save files”. Any ideas what it could be?
Yep, that happens sometimes. It means something went wrong with the transfer, maybe an extra item got deleted, or somehting got corrupted. Just restore from your backup (Copy don't cut/paste) then try it again!

hi! i am at 4:05 in the video on the cheat engine, and under active description there is no option to enable or anything else, it is simply blank space until advanced options. is there a way to fix this, or did i do something wrong?
Yeah you need to load the item table. However, right now (because of all the updates) it's not currently working. There are too many item 1:s and 10's. We're working on an updated guide RN, so hopefully we'll have it sorted soon.
Will this work if you've had people drop you items? I've heard of people saying their file got detected using this method because they used runes dropped to them by friends in the mod
If you can find the modded item and remove it, sure. I have no idea what that item number might be though
In my case what i wana do, is downgrade my seamless coop save from dlc into without it.

Yes, there is. I don't have a guide for that RN (I'm away from my studio) But it is possible. ALSO the Co-Op Mod Dev said that he's gonna try and get it fixed right away!

Yep, I've been just fine. And even though this method has been out for a year or so, I've only heard of people getting banned when they had MORE mods than just Seamless. I'll make sure to update the guide if anything else comes up, but for now there seems to be little chance of banning.

Yeah, the seamless hasn't updated yes, so you're gonna need to do the transfer part first (the last bit of this guide) THEN launch the vanilla game WITH the anti cheat mod enabled. Then remove the items. After they are removed you can just launch the game as normal.

OK, lots of things it could be. Are you running any other mods? Is this a file that's BEEN in vanilla before? Or is is a character that you've only ever played on Seamless? Either way have you played this file on the OLD seamless (Pre-DLC)? Are you playing on the newest version of the game?, and have you verified your game's files?

Hi! I haven’t played seamless co-op but I want to duplicate my vanilla save to a second slot. (I want two of the same character)
Can I use the Elden ring save backup mod to copy my vanilla character from one slot to another lvl 1 character slot? I still want to be able to play online with my characters but I’m scared to get the inappropriate activity message.
You SHOULD be able to do that, yeah. I haven't tested it, so I can't say for certain. If it gives you problems you can just copy the save file itself, as a whole file, then just copy the save SLOT from the copied file to the original file.
I did it but it says "inappropriate Activity detected" I removed all the items though? That was the only mod I played with too! I am super confused??? I played Convergence forever ago BUT that uses separate saves. I am so confused!!!!!
Sorry, they just updated everything. We are working on an updated guide as we speak, but for now you can just keep playing in seamless OR in Vanilla with the anti-cheat turned off.

Sounds like you missed something. Reverify that all the modded items have been removed.

Yep. The game just updated and so now you'll have to wait for the seamless coop to update OR DOWN PATCH the game then tdo the thing.
I kinda just did the save file transfer mod at the end and I didn't get hit with any ban
When we talk about getting a ban, it's not that you won't be able to play the game, or won't see shades/messages/summons, it's that all the sommons you see will also be banned people. And the only way you'll know is that nag message that pops up in the main menu, with change and say you've been penalized for however many days.

That's odd. Did you make sure only one character slot was selected?

That should not happen. I'd suggest trying again, and see if it does the same thing. I've not had it do that for any of the times I've done this transfer.

Apparently you missed one of the modded items. I'd suggest installing the anti cheat disabler mod, then run the cheat engine again and make sure all the modded items are removed

We've had one person experience this as well. Make sure you're using a Furled Calling Finger Remedy and have the Calling bell and and it might take a bit but it should start working!
so i was able to do everytthing up until deleting the items, it wouldn't let me type in the id slot for the inventory item manager, any idea on how to fix that? reloaded the game and the cheat engine multiple times and even used a different keyboard as well as restarted my PC. OK, Ive added steps to take in the description. Basically use Anti-cheat disabler for now until seamless OR the cheat engine mods are updated!

You bet! It's easy as pie, and just in case you missed it in the description, you don't need to mess with the cheat Engine any more. You can skip that part of the guide and just do the transfer of your choice.

@@CozeDen. Well, It Kinda "Blocks" them in that it does delete them. but it's not banning people left and right!

I know of no way to sync the saves, so they can be played in co-op AND vanilla without doing this sort of transfer every time you switch versions
Thanks! I used this tutorial in conjunction with a tutorial I found on how to downgrade elden ring through steam data base to get the version pre-DLC patch.
Now playing my seamless co op character on vanilla post update this morning. However, I also encountered the cheat table error saying my game version is newer than the cheat table, even though I downgraded elden ring. I was able to delete all the items except for 21, couldn’t find it listed in my inventory so I just left it.
Save file seems to be working fine on vanilla other than getting the “inappropriate activity detected. Will not play online” error.
that is fine for me, as I do not play online.
Anyway, appreciate the straightforward guide.

Hey hello good sir, thanks for the nice video, i'v done the steps but i got what i think may be a problem, at first i wasen't able to find the item number 21 on cheat engine, after carefully searching i finally found it, i deleted it and then i went to search for it in the game inventory, for some reason it is still kinda there, it says "ICON" on the image and still has ?GoodsName? on the description, is there a way to fix it? Or can it stay that way? Because im pretty sure i've deleted it already.
Hmmm. Personally I'd save the game, then reload it, and re-remoce the items (since you'll get them back as soon as you reload the coop version. ) then see if it gives the same result. I don't remember checking for that sort of thing, but if it's a problem you'll be given a warning when you finally load it in, IF there's something you still need to remove.

im having a problem i cant transfer my save file, i tried to remove all the itens you told but still dont work, it shows Failed to Load Save Data

I've heard since the update that re-verifying the game's files gets it to work.
I'm having troubles finding the ids. I tried using the finder but it wouldn't help. What do i do?
Delete what you can, then do the transfer to vanilla. THEN download the Anti-Cheat disabler mod and open vanilla ER with that so you are offline. Then use the cheat engine to "Make items Discardable" Then you can just drop the remaining Modded items on the ground and fast travel to a new location to have them disapperate! Sorry, I can't make an updated guide or anything, I'm away from the studio for the week!
So im not seeing an appdata or roaming file after my user name? Where do i go if thats not possible?
You'll nee to go up to the top of your window and click "View" then select "Show hidden items" then you'll be able to see appdata etc!

10, 11, and 20 i cannot find in the list, manual scrolled through the whole thing. Any idea why? When i look in inventory, i still have the three items. I find 0 and 21, and deleted those. 0 and 21 are gone from inventory. also my lists isnt sorted in order, and typing, for example, 20, just highlights all lines with a 2 0. Anything i can do to sort the list?
Sorry, I can't help much with that, it's not a great interface for the uninitiated. Don't type in 21 just 2 then maybe wait a bit before you scroll.

@@The-Backlog Yep, I did, I couldn't find the id so I just select "Make everything discardable" or something like that and discard the modded items. Seems to work for now, I guess.

No, this is this windows at that point, so whatever you named your computer user. That point is the "Users" folder of windows so if it's just you using that compy it'll only have one or two folders.
For me I only had id 838003 and 838004 but I didn't remove any items I had the anticheat disabled then moved the file with Elden ring save copy and it worked with the items out of the game when I load it in vanilla automatically, so I followed everything in the vid but not deleting items just having anticheat disabled and it worked
Yup. If you check the description you'll find a link explaining, but vanilla ER now removes the items without question. So even the anti cheat disabler is not needed!
I want to transfer my seamless coop character to vanilla AND still be able to play that character in the seamless coop with my friend, is that possible? i dont care if it doesnt actively sync, i just want my current character for both vanilla and seamless to go back and forth on. Great Vid btw!
Sure thing! Easy as pie! After following this guide and slapping your character into an SL2 file, you just need to COPY your backed up CO2 file into the save directory.
hi i followed all the steps at the end it has that pop up saying to ensure the er000 bak file has been deleted prior to loading
which file do i delete?
In the folder with the SL2 files and CO2 files find the two that end in SL2.BAK and CO2.BAK and delete those.

When I go to inventory Editor im unable to use the find id Function and many things have an ID of 1 as well, if I put something into the Find section im then able to put in an id but it still doesnt do anything. I even pushed Enter to actually have it submit my filter
We are currently looking into it. We'll probably have to put out a fully new guide because of all the changes Seamless just made! But for now you can just keep playing in seamless OR in Vanilla with the anti-cheat turned off.

Got a question, The seamless Co-op mod updated today so it would be compatible with the DLC, followed the steps reinstalled the mod, worked perfectly had my mod saves there in the load menu. Then I quit the game to install the cheat table so I could transfer the save over, But an issues come up, after installing the cheat engine I can't find the load menu anymore, A new option replaced where the load menu usually is called login, The popup that comes up when I press login says "This mod uses a separate save, and does not connect to the matchmaking servers. It does not contain an anticheat". I'm stumped on what I could do. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod with and without the cheat engine and the same results.

@The-Backlog Yes, the characters appeared in the load menu, and the saves themselves are still in the steam Id folder
OK, unfortunately RIGHT NOW that transfer is bugged. (Everything just updated, and even the item numbers are wrong) So you'll likely find it more profitable to play in Seamless right now.
Is there any way you can make an update for this for the people who found this after DLC released, struggling on trying to remove the seamless coop items with the change of the cheat table engine
UPDATE: if you select the "param patcher" in the cheat engine and then select "make everything discardable 2.0" you can then remove the seamless coop items in offline mode then play vanilla like normal.

Unfortunately that's not really gonna work. RUclips wouldn't show it to people, and won't let me change the video once posted. The Guide WILL still work perfectly once the mods are updated, but this video has had weeks to court the RUclips algorithm. For the time being the most sure fire way to get it to work is to do the transfer as normal, then do the anti cheat disabler until things get updated.
I have this new item in seamless coop which apparently is the item 21 that you have to delete, I can even see the item in game, but it doesn't appear on my game files to delete it as ID 21
That one has given a few others trouble. It's in there, but it can be hard to spot. Keep looking and you'll find it.
Did you happen to find what the ID for the Decanter was or a solution for getting rid of it?
@@seraphimon442yeah, that's item 21. It's the new one. You might need to search a bit to find it, but it is item 21.
booted up the game in seamless after the new update and found to have lost my save, hoping this is just due to the mismatch versions of seamless and base game. put a lot of time into that character. Praying that once seamless coop is updated for the new update all save files will be put back in and that they weren't wiped.
That should be the case, yes. Though go ahead and quick make a backup of your save files RN. Just is case!!!

@@The-Backlog My saves have been deleted somehow and I cant even launch the cheat engine because it says it contains viruses. Idk about downpatching the game either. I spent so many hours and its all gone. Is there a way I can get back my stuff?
@@shayan7877 Hi, Backlog here, The cheat engine IS supposed to hack Elden Ring, so Windows doesn't like it, but you should see a button about "Advanced" or "See more" or something that will bypass the warning sign and let you launch the engine. As for the CO2 file being deleted... I can't really help you if the file is gone. If the file is there, then yes, downpatching will allow you to do the transfer. Someone around here already posted a link to a downpatching guide, I'll see if I can find it and add it to the video description. Finaly, Do NOT DISPAIR! Once the seamless co-op mod is updated you'll be able to use your saves again, so long as the CO2 file is still there.
@@tecslicer it doesn't work still. I found a way to use the anti-cheat thing. I have disabled the anti-cheat and I am trying to transfer the saves. How does this work exactly? Does it transfer the seamless coop saves to vanilla or vice versa?

Yes, but you're not gonna like it. You'll want to downpatch your game back to the previous version, so Seamless can interface with it. I HAVE heard people say they've loaded the game with the anti cheat disabler and just Discarded the items, BUT I CANNOT CONFIRM THAT THIS WILL NOT GET YOU BANNED!!!
I just transferred my save from co2 to sl2 and the items form seemless coop automatically disappeared ! If I have some problems, I’ll notice you
Great! Thanks for testing this out. I've heard a few reports that vanilla now recognizes and removes the seamless items without warning of banable activity. Ive tried it a few times myself, but want to be extra sure before I tell everyone to try it.
Does this get you vac banned?
I cannot say for 100% sure that it will not... but I've not been banned and i've not heard of anyone getting banned for it, no.
is there a way i can have the same save on both the vanilla AND the seamless coop without only playing the character on one or the other?
I've not found a way to do that, no. You'd need to remove the modded items each time you swap to vanilla. OR I suppose just use the anti cheat disabler for vanilla? But then you would need to change the file extension each time.
