- Hi, everybody! Anything happen today?
Gen 3 isn't my favourite, but after watching both @BimbelyGimbly and @ShrewdGentleman's takes on Gen 1 and 2 (Check them out here • Michael Rosen Describe... and here • Michael Rosen Describe... , they're *fantastic*), I was inspired to get to work on the GBA era while I still had the drive to do it.
It was very fun finding the right clips to describe each Pokémon and sometimes splice the footage to make it fit.
All uses of Michael Rosen are property of Michael Rosen, and all uses of Pokémon are property of Game Freak/The Pokémon Company. In other words, I own nothing.

The first time I ever played pokemon sapphire I stumbled on a shiny Spoink, didn’t see the stars and every Spoink I stumbled on afterwards were black, and eventually ; I understood what happened. (Useless story but there it is)

@@ciontachthecthonicchampion3576 The context is that Michael's father ate a banana so fast that he got a stomachache. Young Michael interpreted it as the banana attacking his dad from the inside, and his mother provides the line used in this video as a lesson to never devour your food in one bite.

Challenge met! Some good gems here - really liked Shedinja, Medicham, Tropius and the Weather Trio in particular. Lovely effort throughout - well done!

This is someone who is well versed in both Pokemon lore and Michael Rosen lore and I find that very impressive
Yeah Michael Rosen has a clip for pretty much any situation and a lot of good material goes underused because the person wants to make a ranking list.
Absol and the Weather Trio are SO perfect!

I loved this. Way too many of these "Michael Rosen describes" is basically a glorified tier list. This actually just describes them in a funny way. I expect this to jump up in views soon.
My favourite one was Absol. Such a perfect summation for our favourite black-and-white danger friend. Little disappointed I didn't see Manaphy and Phione though.

@@Doublejho Tbf it isn't seen a lot in its debut generation (I don't think it's even used by any trainers so you'd have to find it in the wild and it's rare) compared to Chingling who appears somewhat frequently in Mount Coronet

A few weeks ago I was imagining "what if someone made a Gen 3 version?" and I just knew there HAD to be a Michael Rosen clip that would be perfect for the Weather Trio. Kudos to you for finding it - and for making the rest of the video equally great!

Ah yes. My favorite Pokémon movie was when The Sky Floogal 2 risked his life to save The Sky Floogal 1. Tears were shed.
And Sky Foogle 1 had a baby with Ash, or her brother. We're never really told one way or the other. Either sounds pretty creepy...

Probably refers to:
A) How disappointing its design is compared to Surskit
B) How infuriatingly buffed it got in Gen 7, mainly Guzma's Masquerain

Honestly I was more surprised when they randomly dropped the bombshell in gen 6 that Beautifly does that. I do like the concept of the butterfly being the more aggressive one being a sort of subversion of expectations, I don’t think it’s ever mentioned if Dustox is aggressive
